I bought a sectional that is Broyhill brand, 13 days ago from big lots in Newton NC. Everyday I look at it, I just wanna cry. It's been ONLY 13 days, you can see every place you've sit. The cushions are flat there. It don't line up with the other connecting pieces. That make it a sectional. The backs are upholstery in. So you can't move them. NONE of them line up with the next one. The quality of this $1600, 2 piece sectional (small) is terrible. My husband is retired from the Navy. Disabled. So we can't pick it up an load it back up to return it. We had to have it delivered. It is a complete waste of money. It needs better filling in the cushions an the backs need to be lined up in the upholstery. Pictures included

Bought over 150 dollars of stuff on clearance, the cashier could not ring vase out said void called manager said cant do anything why was this put on clearance AND PUT OUT IF CANT BUY. I ended up not buying anything in the cart I will not return, this is the second time I had problems with this manager wouldnt give me a 5.00 off that I was intiltled to. That is why you have no customers in this store,was only one person in the store. ALSO YOUR MANAGER IN NOT EVERY NICE.AT ONE TIME. THE CUSTOMER ALWAYS RIGHT. He COULD HAVE FIXED THAT TICKET SO IT COULD SALE. SO YOU LOST A SALE AND A CUSTOMER

Rip-off
June 30, 2023

Placed an order in April, received a confirmation from them but never received anything. After waiting a few weeks I contacted them to see if the product is being processed or shipped and I was told it was being processed. This went on for 5 or 6 emails and now I have requested a refund of my money and they are ignoring me.

Dissatisfied

I ordered a mattress and box spring, was able to schedule delivery for when I was available, but the catch was a 12 hour window by a third party delivery service. On the day of delivery the company could not find a driver and then a couple hours later still no driver and then no one at the dispatch office either. I cancelled the order immediately and went to Raymour and Flannigan.

Delivery. So I ordered this couch on Thursday and paid for delivery which was scheduled to be on this past Saturday between 8am-8pm. Was supposed to get a call on Friday to schedule a time for delivery, that never happened. I went ahead and planned to be home that whole day through the time period, since I had no idea when they would come or if they will even contact. So reached out to customer service at about 2pm that day, and was transferred to the delivery company which then said it would be deliverd tomorrow (Sunday the 21st) between 10-2pm. Another day where I just waited the time frame just in case they came, and just like the previous day there was no delivery and at this point that is crazy. You would think that when a person spends nearly $1000 on a couch. That the customer service would be great and that was not the case. This is probably the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever recieved when ordering furniture. It was almost like they didn't want to deliver and could care less about the customers time and lacking what they are supposed to be doing for their job. Now it's Monday, 5 days after ordering and no delivery nor update. It's crazy that when you pay the $100 for delivery online, and NOTHING has happened. I will make sure to never recommend Big Lots to anyone and will make sure that my story will be shared on all social media platforms, yelp, and whatever else I can find to leave customer feedback for.

While shopping at the Elcajon store I asked for help in furniture department. I was told by 2 people they would help but left me standing for 20 minutes. I then decided to call to get the information I needed and they hung up on me after she stated to hold on while she gets the info I needed. Rudest store I've ever shopped at. They all treat you the same way all rude. They could care less.

I used the Fayetteville, GA store. Firstly, I ordered one item at noon, at 7pm it still wasn't ready. I called, asked for the store Mgr. And was told that she would "pull the item up", but it must be picked up "inside". I said why is it called Curbside pick up? She said even though it's called Curbside pick up, you have to come inside to get the items. What a joke. Thanks for the NOT Customer Service.

I was in Big Lots, Franklim NC and there was a girl about 9 yrs old riding a hover board all over the store! Also my cashier was on the phone the whole time I was checking out. This store needs to do better.

Big Lots just recently reintroduced their freebies weekend giveaways, for Big Lots reward customers. Their most recent giveaway was for either a candy bar or a bag of candy costing no more than $1.39. This is for the Big Lots ad dated for March 11-12 of this year I chose the snack size 5 piece Almond Joy candy package which was $1.39. There were other types of candies available for the same price. I took my candy to the checkout counter and showed the store clerk my email rewards and. They told me the only candy they were told to give away was a York peppermint patty and nothing else. I showed them a copy of the rewards email ad which showed different types of candy that cost $1.39, but they wouldn't allow it. Talk about bait and switch!

I like to give Carlos, the manager, five stars. He is a great person that cares about customers. He always has a big smile and never says NO. Always look for a solution to make the customer happy. Harassment

This morning I went to Big Lots in Harvey, LA looking for a bookcase. I was in the furniture department, browsing when the overhead announcement said to check all aisles. I thought nothing of it, until two employees started following me around the store. I guess they thought I was going to put one of those tables, beds, or chairs, etc. in my purse. So, the store didn't have what I was looking for, so I decided to shop around, because there was one other thing that I wanted in the kitchenware department. Here they come again; just standing nearby looking stupid and suspicious. While they were casing me out, I had already cased them out. And, there were no one in the store, except a couple that almost ran me over in the store, and a man that walked in at the same time I did. So, why you not checking the other isles; why you only checking the isles where I'm shopping? I was about to purchase an item, but I put it back on the rack and left the store. This is harassment and I felt harassed.

Great Place to Shop.

Greeted by store employee as soon as I came in. The employee asked what I needed, I told them and they walked me to the correct area to get what I needed. My experience was more than good. My wife and I were happy with our purchases from Big Lots and will visit the store more often.

Horrible Customer Service

We wanted to purchase a mattress and box springs from store in Edmond, Ok and have it delivered in Guthrie, Ok. The sales person said he has it in stock and can be delivered next day but could not take payment over the phone and would need to go to biglots.com. He walked us thru the process and said as soon as it goes thru he will pull order for delivery, the funds $1132.24 was taken immediately from out account but the salesman said he cant see it and for us to call their customer service*******687. We were told there was a problem with order and would get a refund in 5 - 10 days. So now we have no mattress and no $$ to buy one until they decide to refund my money. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THESE CRIMINALS ONLINE. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE PEOPLE IN STORE ARE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. IT'S A SHAME THAT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS NOT A MAJOR CONCERN

After being transferred and given 6 different numbers to call I finally spoke with a human that told me he was sending a email that would take 30 minutes to receive to begin the process PROCESS There wasn't a process of you receiving my money Wait here's the BEST PART THEY HAVE A PIC OF THE DELIVERY ON THE WRONG PORCH Question: Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? What CREDENTIALS were required to achieve employment? Nevermind... Just Kindly Refund My Money Thanks

In September I went in to the Lebanon, Ohio Big Lots. They had a couch on sale for around 500. Dollars. I ask to purchase it and they said I couldn't order it. I would have to find it at another Big lots even though they had it advertised there. I came back in early October and the same couch was now 789. I found another one that I could deal with I ordered it paid for it and only owed $1.49 yes that's right one dollar and forty nine cents. On December12th I finally got a call, I was so excited to think I would finally have my couch. Think again. I was told I couldn't get it. Something about the warehouse no longer open. I was given the option of getting the floor model for 10 percent off. Um no. I mean how many asses have sat on that thing. And it had two small Tears in the left hand side on the arm.I ask if I could get the original couch that I originally wanted for the price I paid. Nope. No help. Please hear my warning. Don't shop at big lots.

Me and my wife bought a living room set from big lots. We also bought the extended warranty. After a year it was falling apart. We have been fighting the warranty company for 3 months. First they said the receipt was wrong. Big lots sent us a new receipt. Then they said the warranty was not registered. Then they said they sent us a gift card to cover the cost of the furniture to give it 30 days to reach us. We never received it. So we called again. They said give them 3 days. We called back then they said give them 5 days. They also said someone would call us we never received the call. They constantly hang up on us at the warranty company. Big lots furniture is not worth the headache.
