The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

I went to Best Buy about a week and a half ago to check out their movie selection. They had a great selection at the Nicholasville Road location in Lexington. The prices were reasonable, I was greeted as I came into the store, an employee asked if I needed help finding anything and check out was quick and easy. What more could you ask for?
Every time I use the in-store services of either the Geek Squad or other departments, I am truly amazed at the depth of knowledge and, especially, the demeanor of ALL employees. Yesterday, I dealt with "Joshua" at the Shertz/Selma Texas facility with computer problems. Joshua was truly exceptional in every possible way. The respect he provided towards me and my problems could not have possibly been better. Best Buy should be proud of their employees everywhere.
I am glad there are still places we can go to and see the TV we are picking. I would recommend we all get our TV from them so they will never close. I know the price is a bit better online - but they price match now too.
I hate Best Buy phone service it's rediuclouse press 1sales then 2 for question what a joke u can't get the stor u actually call on hold forever then zero assitence only recordings dumb customer service why would u sell something in store but not online, but when calling to get a specific department u get transfers everywhere but nit to actually store on hold now 5 minutes and still just music not one person, then 3 more minute then 5 more ya just wnat to see how long this automated department phone service takes then it's not the store I called, I've been transfers to purchase department I call back same thung cant stay on the phone 15 minutes to get the flipping store I called
Love the store. Often find it hard to find what I'm looking for, and staff are usually talking to each other and feel unapproachable.
I had bought the refrigerator at Best Buy. However, the first bad service after the delivery the guy who is instruct the freight he was try to rushing to finish and without check to make sure everything is alright before he leaves. After they left I find out my refrigerator was leaking. The water were everywhere. I try to call them back they send the other term come in next day but this time these two guys made my sink water stop working then I have to call them again and they are try to refuse it. This is driving me nuts. I used bought stuff in Home Depot or Sear never have a problem like this before. I will never return back to shop at Best Buy anymore.
The deals are good but it can be improved. I expect more and hopefully will buy more in the future. So far there are no major complaints
I get delivered a tv with a cracked screen and opened it past a 15 day period so now I'm getting completely screwed out of the money spent for the tv and the extra protection plan. We would've been life long customers but after this I'll never buy anything from this company again.
My brother bought a phone from our local Best Buy store and decided to get their insurance plan for it for a one time fee. It was the biggest mistake he has ever made. I knew how crappy Best Buy is as a whole, but I didn't think they would scam people out of their own insurance plan since it's on paper. Boy was I wrong. We came in after my brother had his phone stolen which was written on the insurance plan, and the manager said that they don't cover lost or stolen phone per new policy. I told them that they should at least give him a refund because the policy had changed. They said that they were unable to do so because that was also not part of the plan. Sigh... I'm glad I don't buy stuff from them. I told my brother before he bought his phone from them that they're crappy in all aspects. But too many dumb consumers exist which is why they still exist.
BestBuy doesn't necessarily mean best price, but they definitely have everything you could every think of from computers to phones and from cameras to TVs
It has been such a lovely experience!. I ordered an i8 keyboard for my PC and the process was flawless, with the item being shipped to VA on time.
I opted to pick it up in store. The transaction went smoothly with no wait time at the store. I will return for electronics in the future.
Went to Best Buy today to buy a new charger for our 2 yr old laptop. Was told they don't sell them and can't order them. We were always good customers but no more! I've had it! Geek Squad is a joke too!
I use BB more than any other electronics merchant. The site is intuitive and easy to navigate. The checkout process is simple and quick. I like that I have the option to ship to home or pick up at the store.
I've tried them all... Best Buy stands by their products more than any other. I've had bad products from them, but they have done what they can to fix the issue
Right on time everytime very good with business shipments are always on time on delivery there packages are always in good shape very happy.
I like Best Buy, as I found all electronic staff their, and cheaper. Their is a lot of sales especially on August each year, in the black Friday and in Boxing day
Easily the worst customer services I've experienced in my life. Went to buy this laptop at best buy on Station Square in Burnaby. They were out of stock so I ordered the laptop and they say it will arrive within 5 business days. Waited for at least 2 weeks and nothing came. Called them eventually and they told me the shipment was cancelled. Like what the hell? I never got any notice that shipment was cancelled, no calls, no email and they just have me wait cluelessly.
During the phone call they told me it was cancelled and told me they processed the refund, so i went to another best buy in coquitlam and got the laptop at the store. Some time later my bill came and it charged the $1500 for the laptop i ordered in Burnaby. They have lied to me about the refund.
I called them and they told me to go to their store in burnaby to solve this problem. This is a waste of almost 2 hours of driving(there and back) as i live in maple ridge. When i got there they told me theyll give me my refund with a best buy gift card. Like wth?! They pretty much just scammed me and i dont even want to have anything to do with best buy anymore then they want to try and force me to get a best buy gift card? I refused to get a gift card as refund and they just ignored me, their manager just walked away.
After a few weeks they sent a mail to my house saying something like "we have received a lost shipment claim" and asked me to go again, waste 2 hours driving, to burnaby as if nothing happened before that. I went and explained what happened and they still told me they have to look into it and before giving me a refund and telling me to go back again.
In total i went there and back about 5 times and they still refuse to give me full refund. At one point i told them theyre wasting my time and they said theyll give me 100$ extra for my time driving. I responded "y dont you drive to my house right now and ill give you $100" and they hung up on me even tho they made me went so many times for nothing.
Easily the worst customer service ever experienced. Never seen anyone as disgusting as that store manager from burnaby. Playing with people like that.
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.
Answer: I dont know? I dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont know
Answer: Write a genuine review for a product you buy from there, get upto $25 gift certificate
