I have found AMAZING deals online at best buy. Especially on Cyber Monday. I was able to get laptops of higher quality, unlimited quantities for much cheaper than on Black Friday. Plus, they have great sales and also price match.
There was a few things That I was looking for and customers service help me so very awesome that I went back to get some other stuff that I need and my service was awesome again that I will continue going back to Best buy
I shop here aften for movies and small kitchen appliances. I like that you can get your item checked out or exchenged. I like all the items that I got and will get if I don't buy some where else

I dislike their customer service. Generally I don't ever have an issue, which is great... but when you do have an issue, their customer service is not up to par.
My husband and I had heard about Best Buys point system from our friend (caucasian), and decided to get a credit card. We purchased two Large Screen televisions, a desktop computer, a laptop, a washing machine, and today a dryer. I happened to ask about my points after I made my purchase, and was told that I didn't have any. I asked why? They told me that it should have been offered during my purchases, but most of them were online. I called and spoke with a Customer Care Rep that told me that she couldn't help me. I then was transferred to a forign speaking person, and she offered me nothing. We're African American, and feel that this is a discrimination issue.
Best buys just give you the best deals that no one else provides! I am just too much satisfied with these guys and wish them all the very best

We ordered a W/D to be delivered to our condo. We also requested that they be hooked up. In the delivery instructions I was very emphatic that there is a 10 ton weight limit on trucks in our parking lot. I told 3 people about this and it was written on the order. They arrived with a 20 ton truck which resulted in a longer and more time consuming delivery than they had planned for. When they went to install the w/d the outlet for the dryer was wrong. So they did nothing with the dryer. They did not hook the plug into the dryer nor did they attach the vent tubing. They also did attach the plug to the washer or plug it in. It seemed as if they were rushing to get out of here because bringing the wrong truck made them late for other deliveries. Had I known the service would be this bad I would have shopped elsewhere and will do so from now on. I should have known better. I highly value good customer service. It is what sets businesses apart. Best Buy's customer service is crappy.
I use the service direct message recently. But I already had time to evaluate it at the highest level. A large number of prompts allows you to configure the service without any problems. A lot of tips. The necessary messages are automatically generated along with the sending. Over a short period of time, the conversion increased by 36%. This is very cool really!
In the beginning when I got my computer I never had this problem year and half ago, now past 2 on the online help have been so rude i had to report them. They hardly do any thing for you at all, waste of money
My uncle, who is 56 years old filled out an online application for a job at Best Buy and what he encountered was age discrimination. The application asked for all kinds of info, which he said, "figures out your age". When he went down to the local BB some of the younger employees even confirmed this for him, saying that, "older men, and especially women, have no idea how electronics work and they are a "waste of company time". Isn't that illegal, to discriminate by age? BTW, I am writing this for him, not because he is not electronic savvy; he moved to another country (Germany) and got a job with IBM! (Shows how dumb BB is!). They really should get some good attorneys for this is discrimination!
So much stuff is op af at this place can't buy anything there without feeling like I've been robbed I just want what I pay for to be worth it and not find out my buddy got the same tv for 500 cheaper at Costco
I always get my electronics here. The stuff is a little more expensive and their price matching has gotten stricter, but their return policy is great. I prefer buying at a store than off an online website for this reason.
I've ordered online and shopped in store with BB for many years and they are really great.
If there is any problem, they fix, replace or refund very quickly.
As good as it gets, i love this store they have never done me wrong.

Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
