Don't fall for it, the BB appliance delivery is the worst. You order online and think it's all great and then they email and call and say the delivery date has been changed. They often cannot fulfill their delivery promise. Home Depot and Lowes sell many of the same appliances at similar rates and never seem to have terrible delivery issues like BB. Beware!

I ordered an item on line on June 30th, 2017. The delivery was listed as July 14th which is 2 weeks using standard shipping. I thought that was quite a long time but decided to wait that long to get the item. After one week of waiting I received an email stating that the delivery date had been pushed out to July 31st. I didn't want to wait that long so I tried to cancel the order. I couldn't cancel it because when I ordered the item I ordered as a guest instead of logging on using my best buy log on info. A message came back saying that if I wanted to return the item I would have to go to the nearest best but store and get a refund. I thought---OK, I can do that, and ordered the very same item from Amazon at the same price with a delivery of date of July 18th, which was 2 weeks earlier than best buy's projected date. Next thing I know I am sitting on the couch on July 14th and the UPS man arrives with the best buy item that wasn't supposed to get here until July 31st. Best Buy needs to change their policy so a person can cancel and item no matter how it was ordered on line. It's not that big of a deal, since best buy isn't that far away, but they have lost a sale to Amazon as I will now take the item back to best buy for a refund, and wait on the Amazon order to get here. I will never order anything online from Best Buy again. I have ordered several items from Amazon and never had this problem.

Best Buy For Sure

My laptop conked out the first day of my college finals. I found a brand new Dell laptop under $300. Shipped and I got it 2 days later. Aced my classes literally. Four years later, I can honestly say I received a quality unit---as I am using it this very moment. And, Best buy has a customer service phone contact option! That is A-1! Because a lot of companies rely on emailing, and we know how long that can take. I highly recommend.

I have never experienced a more incompetent customer service team. Purchased a new where and dryer with installation including changimg the way in which the dryer door opened. Also, purchased removal of the old equipment. Upon arrival of the delivery crew the man in charge was on the phone telling the next customer they would be there in 25 minutes which based on what they were paid to do was nearly impossible. The delivery driver proceeded to explain why they couldn't install the dryer, I immediately called my husband and he refused to speak to him and told me that customer service would contact him. Had he spoke to him he would have had to do the work. They left the old dryer in place and said to call once it was ready to be picked up. Didn't install the washer again we paid for this. My husband spent 3 hours installing and changing the dryer door. It gets even worse. When the 2nd team over drivers came to pick up the old dryer they snapped an old phone wire connected to our house ripping out 3 sheets of siding (mind you we had the entire house resided the month before). Our neighbor saw the entire process with the wire snapping, drivers stopping to truck, looking back. And then leaving. My husband immediately called to make a claim which has been over 6 weeks, he has called numerous times and talked with somebody though she hasn't called him back. Worst company will never buy from them again and continue to blast them on all forms of Social Media. Store Managers obviously used to any customers and we'll trained on what to say knowing the entire time that nothing will be done. 1

I have had to contact GeekSquad 4 times in the last 3 weeks. I get the same Agent notes every time. This is getting really old very fast! They must have there spill of (s**t)
That is already typed up for them to use. It is always I tuned up your computer and cleared Temp Files and bla bla bla bla! I think GeekSquad really sucks. I am going to get rid of Kaspersky and GeekSquad when my time is up. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good protection plan?

Swing and a Miss

I have purchased TVs from them twice only to have them be damaged when they were taken out of the box. My mom bought us a camcorder combo that included an SD card and a travel case at Christmas time. The items were shipped to the store nearest us. I got the text alert saying items could be picked up. Waited through the horrendous holiday lines only to find the SD card and case had arrived but not the camcorder. Huh?! We had to wait 11 more days to recieve the camcorder. I think the local store sold ours and then made us wait til they had another shipped but I do not have any proof.

BestBuy is the biggest seller company in the world and has more workers than top ten others companies combined. It has absolutely everything you possibly could desire. It's not as good as Amazon, but still, its way close to you and you can actually try the thing you buying with your own hands.

Best Buy purchases

Have not yet had a bad purchase from Best Buy. Purchased a microwave and computers from them. When I've had computer problems have taken back for service and the price for the work done was reasonable. Things that I have taken back for exchange were done without squabble. That's the way I like it.

The worst

Worst customer service ever! They are running me through a phone loop talking to multiple departments because no one can solve a basic problem with a return I made. They acknowledge they received the item but still have not credited my card & they don't know what the hold up is. I'm opening a dispute with my credit card company because talking to Best Buy gets me nowhere.

I live on UK, but on each time i travel to America, is a must to check the deals on Best Buy, on my trips always i found a good deals on the stores and great help from the people there. My experience was good and i recommend always Best Buy as retailers.

Consumer Alert! No body should buy anything from Best Buy. Best Buy (BB) hired this company, The Retail Equation (TRE) that is sham for US Consumers. This company will see some serious lawsuits in very near future. I bought indoor/outdoor Cameras and no one at store told me that there will be lag of one minute. Another purchase that was laptop crashed in few days from purchase that was even exchanged by Best Buy Geek Squad and they verified that Laptop was having some factory issues. All these points, that was none of my fault, have valid receipts at return, these points were used against me and I have denial to return any item in future. Which implies that even if it is not consumer fault, it is clearly Best Buys fault, Consumer will be given a warning for no reason that Future returns may be declined. This must stop. I humbly request ever US customer out there to stop buying any product from Best Buy.

Bought AppleCare+ from this store with an iPhone 7. They set up and registered everything at this location.

Flash forward 3 months to when I came to get it replaced today under its warranty and for inexplicable reasons their own computers were unable to initiate the AppleCare return.

I was at the store for two hours before they were able to arrive at the lack of a result.

They could verify I purchased it, and that it had AppleCare that was properly registered on Apple's websites. However, their own computers were unable to find it. They literally could do nothing for me.

They had to give me a support ticket where they said it will take up to 48 hours before they can even INITIATE the order of my new phone.

I don't have anything bad to say about the employees. Kyler was as helpful as his job title allowed him to be. However, I talked to every boss in the store above him and it was immediately clear that management is poor at this store and customer service is not a priority. Nobody had any ideas whatsoever of how to make my experience better or how to find a workaround for their own internal issues. I even asked to buy a new phone if they could wave the re-stocking fee when I returned it in two days when they are finally about to initiate my AppleCare replacement order. Nope.

Basically, I paid them for a service that they couldn't provide. They couldn't even tell me why they weren't able to provide it other then "we don't know" and told me to go to Apple or wait up to 2 days for them to contact with me with a possible resolve.

Extremely frustrated. I feel like I was falsely advertised to and thrown to the curb when they couldn't figure what was going on. All after spending over $4k in this very store over the last two months.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't selling a service that you can't provide called fraud?
