I like BestBuy!

Best Buy is a good store! If you are going to buy appliances you have to do a research first. If you find a good one check the price with Best Buy the much the price + you get 10% off of the difference. If you buy 2 or more appliances you get 10% off on the package.

Great experience

I was in the market for a new TV and best buy had just the model I was looking for at the perfect price. I chose the option to reserve online and pick up at store. After completing the transaction I got a phone call within few minutes that the TV was ready for pickup at our selected store. I was already impressed. I went to the store after I got off from work and gave them my order details, and sure enough, my brand new TV was waiting for me. The helpful and friendly staff even helped me to load it in my vehicle.

I was really impressed by best buy's overall experience and customer service. Now I know where to go for all my electronic needs.

I went into the Markville location looking for a gaming console bundle that was on sale, I tried a lot of other stores but the service at best buy was by far the best; even they did not have the console in stock they called the Scarborough location and put it on hold for me! They even gave me half of my controller when I bought their protection plan! World class service!

I order from BB quite frequently and never had any issues with them. The few times I had a problem with a product, I brought it in store and got it resolved. Only complaint would be that the functionality to change the payment type on an already placed order seems to be broken. I had a paid for a preorder of a game with my Paypal account, which had a credit card that was canceled, and the only way to change the payment type was to call up Best Buy.

Good Store
November 13, 2015

This store is very convenient. Free shipping over $25, orders generally processed next business day. Price protection is nice as well. Ordered a camera and next week it went on sale for $20 cheaper. Contacted customer service and they refunded the $20. Overall a positive experience shopping at bestbuy.

BestBuy.ca is excellent! They accepted my gift card and I got my item the VERY next day. Also, the mailman knocked on my door and hand-delivered it to me! Couldnt be more impressed. Would order from them again.

I find they offer a better price then Walmart, Future shop, and other retailers, when it comes to gaming and electronics. I always checkout BestBuy first and always save myself money, instead of walking next door to Walmart.

Don't try and shop with a gift card. I was trying to check my card balance and it locked me out of the card. Then when I called customer service I got hung up on. Not impressed! If I didn't have a gift card I would never shop here. It's overpriced and the service is terrible.

Good quality items and shipped fast however inorder for them to accept you credit card payment they send you emails and a phone number to call to verify it is you. If you aren't home to get the email you may miss out on your order being processed... that said, they need to use pay pal or some other more convenient way to verify the customer is valid.

Overall a good site, just check your delivery method before submitting (tends to default to shipping) and add your service plan on the product page (if you want one), otherwise you can miss it.

Beware making any online purchases with Futureshop. I ordered a top of the line CyberpowerPC computer for $1799. 99 and received a Much lower end $599.99 computer instead. After pointing out this mistake they offered $200 off on my purchase, then called back saying that was a mistake and they would only give me $50 off! I immediately shipped this wrong computer back to them. They have recieved the $600 computer 10 days ago and still have not released the $1900 I paid to them. I was told it would still be 5 or 10 business days before I would get my money back, before I could re-order the computer and start the merry go round all over again! It has now been more than a month from my initial order with no refund. I do not recommend using Futureshop online shopping. Futureshop online shopping was one of the worst shopping experiences ever.

I regularly buy from futureshop. They have excellent prices for well known brands. It's hard to beat.

No problem buying online. In store, you just have to say NO to whatever protection/warranty they try to sell you. They are pretty good at getting you scared, but remember it's basically a scam.

Sure they sell good products but thats not what this review is about.

Future Shop, one of the biggest scams I have seen. I had bought a computer from them ( a laptop) and bought the extended warranty from them. At the time the warranty said, if we have to repair it 3 times before you get a free computer of exact value from us. so I sent it in when the system keyboard and mouse wasn't working, so thinking that was 2 repairs I get it back and ask if a problem comes up again do I get a new laptop, well they said no because that was only one repair, even when I sent it in for 2 repairs, they told me for it to count you need to send it in 3 separate times.

Long story short, Future Shops extended warranty is a scam, if you fall for there money trap I feel sorry for you, because if you get a warranty get one from the manufacture (Sony, HP, Apple etc...). NOTE: Best buy is the exact same company, and they also scam people with the warranty.

Also I recommend getting a Sony Vaio because Sony has the best customer service I have ever seen, sent my computer into Sony and got it back in 2 days (I drove to the store dropped it off and picked it up.)
