All my stuff came and it was fine. That's not the problem.
I picked 5 things and only used Best Buy and no third parties (so they would send it all in 1 box) but they still charged my bank 5 separate interactions and now these $1 charges keep popping up and freaking me out when I have already gotten my stuff ages ago. My bank was really unhelpful and wants me to cancel my card.
I am going to get a fine for going over in silly transactions because of them AGAIN.
I know it's 1 and 2 dollars here and there but still, it is not cool.
I wish I knew what was happening for sure and how to stop it without canceling my card. I would give 4 stars because they sent everything separate instead of together, on separate days but I am so stressed out now that three stars is all I can do.
I bought an Asus laptop 3 weeks ago directly from BestBuy (not a third party). I never received the item... I contacted them to ask for an order cancelation and I was told I cannot cancel the order. They want me to wait until I receive the order (no dates whatsoever) and return it, so 10 business days after receiving it on their waterhouse they would return my money. I asked to talk to a manager and never got a reply... completely unacceptable. Stay away from BestBuy their costumer services are getting worse and worse.
Reserved washer and awaited email to tell me it's ready to pick up. Instead I got one saying they would have to have it shipped and not only delay but wanted 100$ more to get it to their store? Waited for 2 hours online for a customer service response and was told nothing they could do. Go to the store to see what they would do? Stay away
On Feb. 14,2020 we bought two charger cords # ******* MD819AM/A APPLE LGT USB 2M. I charge my cell every night and 1 to 2 times during the day in a month, the reason I bought a 2 mtrs. On the second charge during the day mine did not worked. On Mars 14th, 2020 I called Bury Buy Orleans, no answer. I tries 4 times inc. the Geek dept. no answer. Tried on line no result. On May 26th, 2020 my wife wanted to buy a IPAD and a Air Fryer, so perfect time to exchange my charger cord. The Store Manager Tyler refused. Reason they were opened on Mars 14th. I
Said I called 4 times and Tyler said our phones were not available. We are both over 70 and with medical issues. We are going out 1-2 times a month for urgent purposes and we were not going to drive to Best Buy to see if they were opened just to exchange a cord that cost 39.99$ plus taxes. Our lives are worth more than that. I tried to reason with Tyler and to no avail. I was holding the Air Fryer ready to pay and my wife wanted to wait for the IPAD. I told Tyler we were not going to buy the Air Fryer and I would give Best Buy a "good" review, which I am doing. Left the fryer on the counter and left. When my wife turned her head she saw Tyler dropping the fryer on the floor, very aggressively - VERY unprofessional. SO It is to say that Best Buy did not have any interest in helping us. Was not my choice to deal with this company. I ordered from BEST BUY.CA and returned my box in person, but they refused it, saying I had to ship it to Marketplace, their 'other company'. Turns out Best Buy deals with this despicable seller called Roasted Canuck to deliver products. Very disappointed with Best Buy, and this definitely shatters my trust in them. Roasted Canuck have horrible customer service. They take 3 days to respond to emails, and they don't even answer your question, and if they do, they barely write proper English. I was jipped $16.00 out of my refund. They said that since I had 'buyer's remorse', they were not responsible for returning my money. Shame on Best Buy.ca for tolerating this. Will no longer be buying from Best Buy.ca.

This company has been going downhill for years. I used to be a frequent customer. The final straw is that they took an online order, charged my credit card, but refuse to ship the item or provide any method for me to get an update. This will be my last purchase at this company. If I ever receive it.
I placed an order on April 22, sat on the best buy phone lines for 3 hours to confirm payment information I was ensured both online and in my conversation with the sale assistant that my order would arrive before May. Now on May 9th I have not received my order, and part of my order was canceled with no notice or warning - and apparently it was canceled on April 27 - which I had to wait on three calls (two of which I waited for over two hours and was then disconnected). Totalling 9 hours to speak to a sales agent, only to find an agent whois indifferent to my concerns and that Best Buy takes no responsibility for the lack of communication with this third party vendor, and their client. I'm now to email " Mojo Knife" at "Roasted. Canuk" to ensure our credit card is not being charged. I am completely disappointed with Best Buy for offering such unreliable services and for putting your customers. At risk. Thought you were a better company than this.
I ordered 3 weeks ago a headstet should have there 2 weeks ago but nothing. They lost my order but they took my cash very fast, Very. Poor services
They sell computers but cannot design their own online software properly and their customer service is non existent. I want to purchase online but I have a new email. When using your android, they lock you into your already existing account, wont let you change your email and wont let you purchase as guest. When I tried from desktop, I did it as a guest, so that I could use my new email for receipt purposes and tracking. After completing the online purchase, with my new email listed, it said thank you for your purchase we recognize you have an account with us, from your info, and we have emailed You OLD email on file. Never used the one I entered when I completed transaction as guest. Now I have No receipt and No way of tracking anything. There is No live chat, No email, and No customer service by phone unless you wait 6HRS min! I would be scared to use geeksquad now. The company obviously isnt that smart.
I would be embarrassed if I were you having any dealings with roasted Canuck enterprise. They are a bunch of scam artists. And because of my resent issues with being ripped off buy them, I have canceled my tv I had set aside with Best Buy to pick up today and will never deal with Best Buy again strictly because you allow them to affiliate themselves through you in whatever manner you do.

April 13 I ordered a gaming machine and a 32" monitor total price exceeding $2500. 00. I agreed that due to covid19 shipping would take 3-6 business days as Best Buy promised me over the phone, instead of the 2-3 days for local. Supposedly my shipping label and tracking # s were generated on April 15th. Nothing has been updated, in fact Best Buy can't even find where the items are? You can bet your $#*! that they charged my account! Best Buy also refuses to help find a solution to the problems they created with a promise to deliver and now refuse to price match the same items that are $500.00 less at Canada Computers. The run around, lack of knowledge, broken deliver promise are just the tip of my dissatisfaction. The return policy will not credit my account for 30 days. I'm left with filing a fraud charge on my credit card, thank fully it's not a Best Buy CC. Be warned if you plan on an expensive purchase that you are dealing with a predatory corporation!
During this time during the Covid 19 out break... you have stores closed. You should be putting those staff handling phone calls and email enquires. I have not been able to get through on a phone line. There is also no where to send an e-mail. Worst service ever! The CEO of this company should be fired. I have a $7000. Order that I will be looking other places to fill.
They will be quick to take your money and slow to ship. They will not give you any other information than "in progress". The guy in the chat system doesn't know anything. "Just wait for an update" he says. Oh! I didn't think about that. What are you paid for? To think I cancelled my pre-order from amazon to get that kind of treatment. What a disappointment.
I will never buy from them again. I suggest you do the same.
I needed a technician to set up a complex entertainment system for me - voice control, streaming from my cell phone and other advanced setups. I sent a email to Geek Squad and never received a reply. A week later I went to one of the stores, talked to a technician. He said he would pass it to a consultant and call me back. I waited for another week and they never called back. If they feel that they do not want to offer this service all they have to do is say so, and the customer won't be waiting and waste 2 weeks' time. A papa & mama corner store can do better.
I bought an iPhone 7 through "Electronics Canada" (Montreal) and, after returning to the company after five days when the phone wouldn't charge, I was told the phone had "water damage" and wouldn't be covered under their warranty. So far NO response or support from Best Buy even though this is one of their "Marketplace" vendors. Total scam!
I bought a set of expensive wireless Jabra earbuds from the Bestbuy, ca website; sold by them and sourced by them. The earbuds advertise a one-year overall guarantee and if I sign up on line, another three years. I ordered the on the Bestbuy website and paid for them and picked them up in-store. I had asked the clerk in the store if they were a good product and she said they never had had any complaints or returns. When I returned the defective buds with the receipt to the same store 4 months later, they would not take them back for exchange and told me I should have bought another (third)warranty for 65 dollars at the time I picked them up at the store. They were indifferent to the fact the 4 month old 300 dollar earbuds stopped working 4 months after purchaser and said I could look up the manufacturer if I wanted an ask them. I have yet to be able to talk to anyone at the manufacturer.
Be aware that Bestbuy takes no responsibility for any sales on their website via a third party seller. They do not even have contact numbers for their sellers so be very cautious when ordering off of the BestBuy website. Ordered an iPad on the website but order was apparently lost. Took 2 weeks for Samphone to determine that the order was lost. Received a phone call stating it was lost and that in 3 days would receive a new order number of the new item. 5 days later I still haven't heard anything. Went to the local Bestbuy on St James street in Winnipeg hoping they could assist. Spent almost 2 hours with 2 customer service personnel and 2 managers only for them to say that sales on Marketplace are not their responsibility and that they dont even have a contact number for Samphone. Total waste of time. Not sure if all stores are the same but the St James Winnipeg store is absolutely pathetic. Samphone is not returning emails so after almost 3 weeks since ordering I'm basically sitting here out a crap load of money with no order. Thought BestBuy was better than this but apparently they are like all of the other slimy online stores
Best buy does not stand by their products or promises and will let absolutely anyone sell garbage on their site. Their geek squad service does absolutely nothing for your money. Do not buy in best buy stores, or on their website. I never will again
Best Buy used to be good. I purchased a Product from their discount bin and it doesn't work. I am not upset about that. I posted my truthful review and discovered that Best Buy filters, and does not post low grading reviews on their site. That's sketchy, greasy, and low. That shows they only want to make money and do not care about the consumer.
Now I am just going to purchase items from Amazon or Costco. I feel this company is going to crash and burn like their sister company 'Future Shop'
Answer: I don't think it's a scam but it's not the easiest online shopping I have ever done either.
Answer: Customer Service is HORRIBLE at Best Buy. I've truly never experienced anything more terrible.
