Poor Customer Service

It is a shame that your company will not refund 2 day shipping when it takes the item four days to arrive. This will be the last time I order from this company. This is what I was told: As your order was placed after the shipping cut off time of 1 PM Central Standard Time on 4/6/2016 your order didn't ship out until 4/7/2016. This would make Friday the first business days and Monday the second business day. The order is arriving within the time frame that was paid for so there will not be a refund issued for the shipping charge. Next time, how about a prompt that explains there is no way you will receive your item in 2 days! Poor Service!

If you call you'll find that they are very nice people, but their free shipping is as slow as it gets. Just to get free shipping, you have to spend over $99, so this is very frustrating.

I've bought here numerous times and have had zero issues. I never take the time to review purchases but reading all the whiney butt hurt sob stories prompted me to take the time. Perhaps they had a bad experience but all of mine and my sons team mates have been issue free.

Just do yourself a favor and use Amazon. Baseball savings is cheaper, but not worth it in the long run. I was baited by a customer service chat member who offered free 2-5 day shipping. Well it has been 3 days since I placed the order and it hasn't shipped yet. Contacted them today who stated that I opted out of ground shipping( a lie) and it won't be shipped for 8 days. They stated that I couldn't cancel since the order was already at the warehouse. How hard could it be for them to call the warehouse and cancel it. So now if I want to return it, once it's shipped, I have to pay to have it sent back. Save yourself the trouble, pay the extra money and use Amazon.

At these prices, I don't expect everything to be in stock. My son is very happy with what he gets. When there is a problem, Customer Service has taken care of everything. We have had trouble with other companies, including walk in stores, so we are going to continue giving this company our business.

I placed an order last night over the phone and the customer service rep was "flighty" with the procedure to adjust the price to match another competitors price. After she got the approval (didn't even get put on hold), she told me she could adjust the price but the price wouldn't be corrected until after the order had been placed. She told me I would receive an email confirmation with the original price. Today, I didn't receive an email about the purchase so I decided to call them back. The same lady answered and had multiple excuses why my order was not processed and unable to be tracked. She was more than willing to take my order again. There were multiple "red flags" during our discussion yesterday and today that guided me to look up reviews on this company while I was talking to her. I quickly realized this is standard operating procedures for this company and most consumers were giving this company 1/5 stars for similar issues. I went ahead and told her I would be placing our team order with another company and that I wasn't confident in the business she was representing. I think in hindsight, I definitely made the right choice.

I ordered 2 shirts on Dec 18th with free guaranteed shipping by Dec 23... a Christmas gift. I got an email 3 days later that the order was canceled because the items are no longer available yet Dec 24 now and no refund. So not only do I not have the gifts I do not have the $ back. Feels like fraud to me... Give me your money and I will maybe. Just maybe give it back... No response from customer service.

Wonderful

Had fantastic service with my custom Richardson hat order. They were very nice and responsive... They were also willing to work with me on a tight deadline with the richardson hat company and getting it shipped out ASAP which was extremely helpful.

Once again, very satisfied!

Be careful! They won't give you a final emailed receipt on the sale price they quote you and then say they will correct any problem later. Guess what - they put me on never ending hold so they didn't have to adjust the agreed on price. BAD COMPANY!

I used to use this place frequently and loved them... However the last two years and my last three orders have been painful! Charges for back ordered items that were never shipped... Shipping taking 30 days to get here... Online inventory showing in stock with no stock in the warehouse... Customer service is a joke and the shipping department is just as bad...

Order pants that where on back order I was told they would not run my credit card until the pants where ready to ship. Of course they ran my card that put a pending charge for that amount. When they went to actually run my card my bank declined it because it was already pending. I called baseball savings to inform them and in the meantime they sell the pants that I ordered to someone else! Mind you I needed these pants ASAP since my son is going to Cooperstown in 2 weeks! What customer service! Never doing business again and I will make sure none of the other teams in our league never do either!

Fraud Company

Whatever you do, never ever ever ever ever order from this company. I ordered a glove from them 6 weeks ago, heard nothing back from them, finally contacted them a couple of times, when they finally got back to me, they cancelled my order, which is fine with me, however they charged my credit card. Fun! Oh yeah, and getting that charge removed from my card? Yeah I'm still trying to get that done. Every time I have contacted them I just get ignored, so I'm pretty sure that this is a credit fraud company. If it was possible to give this company negative stars, I really would. Just a total nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

Rediculous shipping

So I live in Canada and was looking to buy a new glove. I found one i liked, added it plus a break in kit and shipping, (the "super saver") shipping, was 90 BUCKS! For one glove and a break in kit it was 90 bucks for shipping, and that was the cheap option! I knew shipping would be a little on the costy side because i'm in Canada but 90 bucks?!?! Get bent!

I ordered from this site. The advertised price was good. I ordered Orange and 3 days later I got a notice that I would be getting Burnt Orange. Well, Burnt Orange is not my kids team colors and I am not a Longhorn fan. I sent an e-mail and got no response. So, 4 hours later I got another notice that it was shipping and as soon as FedEx picked it up I would be notified. So, I called Customer Non-Service. I was told it was too late, the order had shipped, even though the package is still in their facility. The only option I was given was to keep the wrong item or to pay to ship it back and they only take returns via FedEx. A complete was of my time and money. 100% do not do business with these folks unless you have money to throw away. Don't trust what their website says and don't worry about getting good service from a person. On to post on other review sites... at least some other poor soul might not get suckered in...

I ordered a bat from baseballsavings.com as a Christmas present for my child. I ordered it in November. It did not arrive by Chrsitmas. Apparently the item was on backorder. So then in January they told me it would arrive to them in their warehouse on February 5. When I called on February 14 to inquire about it, they said it would not arrive until March. First off, how irresponsible for them to sell an item to customers that THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE. Secondly, their only solution is to cancel the order. Thirdly, their lack of communication with the customer is frustrating. Fourthly, the disappointment of a 6 year old who's Christmas present wasn't under the tree, and for two and a half months he checked the porch every day waiting ordered a bat from baseballsavings.com as a Christmas present for my child. Placed my order on January 14th for an item that was back ordered until the 16th, got a confirmation email that the item was shipped on the 16th and it arrived the 21st. I was nervous because of all the negative reviews, but my order arrived on time with no problems.

If you only want the best price and dont' care or are unconcerned should there be an issue with your order, than by all means, go with Baseball Savings. However, if you expect at least some decent customer service, please stay away. I have returned to purchase items from BS but time after time, order errors, cancelled orders without any notice and flippant customer service reps are mostly what I've experienced in dealing with this company. Yes, I've gone back because of their prices but enough is enough. I suspect the reason they stay in business is because while customer service, timely deliveries and errors are the norm, the good prices keeps them afloat. The latest disappointing transaction, while maybe not a real big deal to some, was with an order I placed for batting gloves. The items I wanted were available, listed as being "in stock" and at a decent price. I placed the order, got the order confirmation email and waited for the next email with the tracking information... after a week, I checked back to see the status of the order and, as has often happened before, learned that it was cancelled. There was, as usual, no explanation and I never received an email letting me know the order was cancelled. To add insult to injury, when I checked my credit card, the pre-charge was still holding my card up. They apparently charged my card, or at least started the process, but did nothing to cancel the order with my card. I have placed many orders with BS and have to say, they run at about 50% with respect to getting it right. In the past when they sent me the wrong item, they asked that I send it back to them... at my expense. Bottom line, if you want hassle free shopping, do not go through Baseball Savings. However, if you want good deals and aren't concerned that the aggravation and extra expense may negate the good deal about 50% of the time, by all means, support this on-line company. For me, I've just been burned too many times. It's a crap shoot so if you like to gamble, well, good luck to you.

Stay away, they are unethical.

They sent the wrong glove, then agreed that it was a mistake and offered store credit. I declined store credit as they did not have what I wanted as a substitute good. They agreed to a full refund, shopping included as they screwed up the order and did not have the item in stock. Two months later, no credit on my American Express bill. I contact them again, and they said, "OH, I THOUGHT YOU WANTED A STORE CREDIT." It's a scam, they are one of those online retailers that hope you forget about your charges. I called again (still no refund) and I was told, "OH, SORRY, IT WAS OUR FAULT YOU WILL GET THE FULL REFUND." What a laugh, I checked my AMEX bill and they did NOT refund the shipping charges.

POND SCUM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
