I cannot say anything negative about this company. It's easy to buy and place an order. I received exactly what I ordered, a BarxBuddy device Unit, Item # CPPD1. It really works, which is great. The delivery was done in 10 days.
What more can I ask for. I recommend this company and product very strongly.

When my cockapoo found her voice she started testing us by using it more and more. A high squeaky bark for "I want it" and a lower, regular sounding bark for alerting us. Recently she had been barking near our table during meals and around the kitchen while we prepared food before her scheduled mealtime. She barked more when we were stern with her, and ignoring her by turning around stopped being effective, so I was on the hunt for a different solution.
I stumbled across Barxbuddy online and decided it was worth trying. Shipping was within a week for us and the results were magical. I believe it stopped the barking after ONE day of using it! It even stopped her from barking at people walking by our yard. Sure saves from being embarrassed from useless yelling! Just push the button and whala! Thank you for this help! It worked so well for our dog that I gave our 2nd Barxbuddy to someone in our dog manners class last week. Can't wait to hear what they say this week!

We purchased Barxbuddy 2 weeks ago and from the first day its been a Godsend, they stopped barking at everything like loud noises to the mailman stopping in front of the house, we have stopped yelling and they are quiet and my home is more at peace. Love this product and I recommend it to anyone with and out of control dog who barks when they shouldn't, Thank you!
When the barx buddy training device was first purchased it seemed to effectively distract my puppy from barking. After 3-4 months it wasn't having the same effect as it did when first purchased. I called customer support and related my problem and was told to check the battery to make sure it had sufficient power to operate the ultra sonic sound being the lights were operating correctly. Having a battery tester I did as instructed and called back to inform customer support that power was not the problem. I then asked if it would be possible to send it back at my expense to have it tested or was there a way to test it at home. I was told ( ignoring my request) to go around my neighborhood and try it on other dogs to check and see if it worked. Living in Minnesota it was -10 degrees that particular day and. Felt that using on other people's pets was not the answer. Although treated courteous on the phone I do not think that this would be the best course of action. So in conclusion I guess that purchasing from another company will be my best resolution to my problem. Since writing my first review Barxbuddy sent me a new replacement device without my requesting that action. Initially I believe that this was handled by a new employee who was not aware of the companies policy that they will take care of the customer but when the problem and suggested solution ( by an inexperienced customer service representative) was noticed it was resolved. Love it works great i give it 5 stars arrived quickly n my 5 month old boston terrier n 5 yrs old schnoodle have stopped barking n jumping on people. Highly recommended!
Against my advice, my wife bought one of these devices. Unlike many reviewers, it was shipped and arrived promptly. She was charged almost $50 with the shipping.
It came with a 9V battery, so she got started right away. It does NOTHING. It is WORTHLESS. The dog it was supposed to help, a Morkie, acts like it doesn't even exist. The lights flash, but that's it. She even tried putting in a new battery, but to no avail.
She is in the process of trying to get her money back, but I have my doubts. She was (unhappily and under some protest) given a RMA tracking number. We shall see.
I would rather advise people to avoid it altogether. There are training collars that do work. Check with an AKC certified trainer, and/or deal with a reputable company, such as Cabela's, that will stand behind what they sell.
You need to be consistent but this thing does work. It took a very long time to get and I had to call them a few times but I finally got it. When I first got it and was going to test it, both my dogs were fighting. I hit them both with the light and they immediately stopped and looked up at me. I didn't hear a thing but the nice thing about it is that it did not hurt my dogs. I have tried several bark collars that would go off when the dog wasn't barking. Although I was only using a vibrational setting, I still didn't like it if it went off if he hadn't barked. I will need to spend more time to use when he is barking but I truly believe this will work long term. I believe I purchased this off Facebook while viewing one day but it was a while ago. Also I checked them out on the internet to verify it was a real business. Thanks.
I dont push the button often, just once in a while and my yappy dogs settle and go back to bed. The meter reader lady asked where I got it from and is now ordering one also. I should have got two! Handy for the car. Also worked well with my partners big dog. No good when the dog is too far away from you, like at the beach.
They charged my 87 year old grandma $29.95 for a product that costs $10-$15 on amazon. It is a generic dog trainer from China. They also charged $7.95 for shipping. The total was $37.90 on the invoice and they charged her credit card $42.19. I called support and they said that it was for a warranty yet there is no mention of it on the website or when purchasing. I will attempt to get a refund with the 10 digit RMA they sent me. This business only has a PO box which is sketchy.

I mis-ordered and I sent an email to the BarxBuddy website. Based on the reviews from others, I expected that I may not get to return the unwanted items. But talk about a quick response and terrific customer service, I was told to carefully open the package when delivered, remove the one item I wanted (BarxBuddy remote), reseal the package and refuse it and return it. And they had already credited my credit card account in good faith that I would follow through. Can not recall a similar situation where a credit was issued BEFORE the products were returned. Not sure why others had issues, but clearly I did not. Hopefully the device will quiet my Jack Russell Terriorist!
I found the product and site through a list of top 20 Christmas gift ideas. Read the sites description of the product and, having tried shock collars for the incessant barking, I thought I'd give it a try. It wasn't until after I placed my order that I read some reviews. All reviews on this site said total scam so I thought, "oh well, there goes $30."
Not the case at all. I placed my order on 12/16 in the evening, received a confirmation email the following morning stating it may be up to 7 days before it shipped, which was less than some of the other reviewer's claims of 15 days. Then the next day I received an email indicating my item was being sent for shipping and a tracking number. I entered the number in the USPS app and the note indicated a label had been created but the item hadn't arrived at the facility (in Phoenix, AZ where the company is based). The next day, 12/19, I checked the USPS site again and it indicated the item had arrived and was being processed for shipment. I was given a date of 12/23, and since it was from USPS I believed it. Sure enough it arrived on time as expected. So, not a scam and the Phoenix company address seemed legit based on the USPS connection.
Next test was the actual product. Put the battery in and it didn't take long for one of the two dogs to start barking. Immediately my dog reacted to the sound and stopped barking. It has only been a few days but each test has stopped the barking and I'll keep using it with anticipated positive results.
So, in conclusion, the email did go to my spam folder, which was suspicious, but all-in-all a good purchasing experience so deserved of something better than a single star.
The delivery time was long but I acknowledge that they have lots of orders, after contacting the company, they responded satisfactorily. Considering it had to travel half way around the world, I was happy to receive it. Now, down to the actual device: my maltese x shih tzu likes to bark at the dog next door which then starts the dog next door barking as well... I pointed the device at my dog and they both shut up immediately. My dog looked at me strangely and ran inside, which is what I wanted. I would say at this point in time, the device works.
Ordered 1 BarxBuddy and they charged me for 8 or 9 of them with 3 different orders. They have not been shipped but they said since the order was processed they will not cancel. They hit my American Express within an hour. I spoke to several customer service reps from BARX and they will not even attempt to work with me. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT ORDERING FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!
I am updating my previous review of this product based on the fact that when I posted my original review the seller immediately reached out to me and refunded my money without my asking. I was amazed at that kind of customer service. I thought I was getting completely scammed by this company but apparently they are concerned enough about their customers (and product) that they refunded my money and said they would take my concerns about their product to "the powers that be." At least they care enough to do that. Most places don't care at all, but they do, so kudos to them for that.
I ordered this crappy device on November 8th. They IMMEDIATELY took the money out of my account. RED FLAG#1 Two weeks later... no device. RED FLAG#2 I called and was told it took 15-20 days to ship... WHAT? RED FLAG#3 Why are you taking the money out but not shipping it? So 30 days later still no device... called back. RED FLAG#4 They gave me the EXACT same speel... "It takes 15-20 days to ship" "well it's been over 30 days so where is it?" I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I couldn't. WHAT? RED FLAG#5. Finally received the device on December 10th. Didn't even phase my dog! Do you think I'd get my money back if I even tried? Rip off, rip off, rip off! Don't buy and save your money. Wish I did.
