I don't believe this emits any sound because I tried when my dog wasn't facing me and he never even reacts, which tells me he isn't hearing anything. The light is more of what causes the reaction. I don't like constantly directing a light at him because I'm worried about his eyes constantly looking into it, especially the red laser light. Why is there no option to turn off the light?
I have yet to get the device that I ordered. It has been over 2 weeks and the tracking number they provided is through DHL yet the item is supposedly being shipped via USPS. Every time I call and try to get service no one helps, it is excuse after excuse. I will not be ordering ANYTHING from this company again EVER. I would rather pay more and get better service. This is the worst experience for pet items. Next time I will shop elsewhere that is 100% guaranteed. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!
I thought the barx buddy would work for my dog. She doesn't respond to it at all. I would not recommend this product. I wasted over $50 buy buying 2 of them.

Received an email advised that they were having technical trouble but my order was received and it was shipping "Today." My account was charged on 4/10/20. Sent another email 4/15/20 requesting update. It's 4/19/20 & have heard NOTHING! Need to cancel order and get money back! Poorest customer service ever!

I know it is a marketing tactic, but I hate going to buy something and then there are a bunch of screens to buy all this other stuff. So what would have been a $30 purchase becomes a $60 purchase. I admit, I needed some nail clippers but it would have made me happy to have had one page with the additional items listed and I can check off if there is anything else I would like. That's just me, I'm always in a hurry and this kind of marketing slows me down.

I placed an order for the BarxBuddy on November 4,2019. I waited patiently and it NEVER ARRIVED. I called the company on January 7,2020 and spoke to Odette. She apologized and said she would ship it out right away. I put all my paperwork (Receipt/Terms and Conditions/all my notes) in a file expecting to receive my order. I then forgot about it as I thought it would be shipped soon. WELL, IT NEVER CAME. Going through my office files during the quarantine of 2020 (it is now April 21,2020) and still no BarxBuddy. I paid $37.90 via PayPal and still do not have my BarxBuddy. After reading too many negative reviews, I figured I would add mine. I mean what are they going to do?... not ship my merchandise to me? I will call them again and see what they say. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
I have an 8 year old lab I rescued two years ago he's great except he gets very excited and aggressive to other dogs and barks this device did nothing to stop that on my dog
My BarxBuddy arrived yesterday and so far I'm cautiously excited about it. In fact, so far it's been AWESOME! When my shetland sheepdog barks (if you know the breed, it's in their genes), I step in front of him and press the button, he stops, slinks over and sits right down. At which point I praise and hug him. Twice I've even pressed the button as he ran out of the room, so he couldn't see the light, but he still stopped and actually turned around and came back to me. Without me saying a word. I've barely had a chance to use the product because my dog has barked less today than in years, but it sure seems to be delivering on its promise. If this keeps working, what a gift it is to dog owners! And my dog even seems more relaxed. Thank you!

I only had it for ten minutes and I couldn't wait to try it when someone came to the door and my dog started barking. I tried it on my dog and she stopped barking immediately and sat right down. Works perfect!
Barking has been an issue in our home for nearly a decade. Tried different gadgets with little to no success. Decided to try BarxBuddy after reading an article. Totally amazed at the outcome. Stops our pets in their tracks. What a Godsend! Love it! I will order a couple more for back ups or family.
IT DOES NOT seem to work very good on my small Shetland sheep dog, but I will give it a couple more try's. My dog cricket still barks a LOT when we go out or come in the door, I have tried many other devices and was hoping this one would work.

ORDERING WAS QUICK AND EASY. I INSTALLED THE BATTERY THAT CAME WITH THE BARXBUDDY. THE LIGHTS CAME ON AT CHOICE ONE AND TWO, BUT ALL THREE DOGS DID NOT SHOW ANY RESPONSE TO HEARING A SOUND COME FROM IT. I DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING.
Does NOT WORK! Don't waste your money! They definitely must purchase good reviews because there is absolutely no way anything good can be said about it.

Our dog would go absolutely nuts barking and basically screaming whenever we passed another dog or human. She was not aggressive but a little crazy. I only used the BarxBuddy twice and she quit completely. I am shocked at how well this thing worked. She is a different dog.

I bought my barxbuddy from you. Here is my problem... I have a two month old Maltese puppy will not stop biting me. I use the Bar buddy on her stating "no bite" and she ignores the bar buddy and light with the red dot and ignores me totally. Is the bar buddy working or not? It does not affect her at all. HELP! I am all cut up from her bites.
