I ordered the barx buddy on 5-17 and paid for it with shipping. On 5-26 I called and asked why it had not been shipped and was told that they would call the warehouse and request shipping. On 5-27 still nothing so I called again and spoke with Gil. Told him I wanted to cancel and wanted a refund. After 10 to 15 minutes he said I would get a refund but still had to pay shipping. I said it has not been shipped so there is no shipping fee. He said that was their policy. I am out shipping cost even though it was never shipped. Stay away.

This product does not work. I either got a bad one, or it is a hoax. I called and spoke with a rep. Right away there was the excuse that sometimes it takes longer to work on Chihuahuas. Wrong. I also have an Australian Kelpy. It just does not work. The dogs don't respond in anyway. If there really was a sound that only the dog can hear, they would respond in some way. He said they would send me another one. But it's been 3 weeks and I still have not received another one.

I disliked the extreme pressure to buy added items after buying BarxBuddy (to put it mildly... ease up on the upscale! Display the other items and if your customers want them they'll buy em'!) I really disliked the failure to reply to email communications (2 to be exact!) after 10 days had gone by and my item hadn't even shipped yet when your disclosure stated it shipped in 24hrs, but further no courtesy reach out ( or around) informing why either... as previously stated not on their own accord or inquired. The ONLY reason for purchasing this product is because.my rescused Chi's mouth is getting a little out of control and I refuse to do anything but teach her better manners humanely SO I'M HOPING THIS WORKS!. SINCE SHE IS BEGINNING TO HAVE A HIGH TOLERANCE TO THE COMMAND " QUIET!"

I ordered this for a last minute Mothers day present on 5/8/20 and was told it would ship next day, and arrive around 5/10-11. Received an email today 5/21 (after reaching out to the company asking where it was on 5/20) with information that it was shipped on 5/21. To say I am not a happy customer is an understatement. IF it arrives, and IF it works, I may change my review, but I will have to wait 5-10 to find out when I finally get it. So far with my experience of this company, I would recommend that you stay away from them and do business somewhere else.

I was a little mixed by what to rate this. It works great to stop our dogs from barking, but beyond that I still need my spray bottle. NEVER and I mean NEVER try to use this to stop a dog fight as it only matters worse. We have two pits and when I tried to use this to stop the behavior it only seemed to amp things up more. Curious things also, is that it has NO affect on my chihuahua, but it freaks my cat out. So if you have a cat that jumps places you don't want them to be on, just point in their direction and push the button and they run.

This is the biggest piece of crap ever. You can't hear the sound so who knows if it is actually working. But there is supposed to be a light and that doesn't work so I'm assuming the sound doesn't either because it does not phase my dogs AT ALL. They just keep on barking. I thought maybe it doesn't have a battery but I can't open the back to see if there's one already in there. So this is $40 down the drain. Don't waste your money.

I went onto Barxbuddy New Zealand website which gives the appearance that it is a New Zealand company, and paying by visa to buy one of those gadgets, but when i check my visa card, it was double the amount of the invoice, then it appears in small print in my visa that it is in US $, i went back to the website and check again, NOTHING in the website says that it is in US $ or US website, their behaviour is misleading, and dishonest.
Not a company i want to deal with or recommend to anyone, BUYERS BEWARE.
I am stilling waiting for the gadget to arrive

This is the best stop barking product ever!

My 10 yr old male Yorkie/Shih Tzu would bark at everyone walking by our house and would not stop for anything. He would act like a 2 yr old child and bark for attention whenever I tried to have a conversation with someone or when I was on the phone. He would only quiet down if I picked him up. I've bought and returned several products equally priced and he would continue barking while they were being used.

This BarxBuddy stopped him from barking the very first time I used it. All I have to do now is show it to him and he stops barking immediately.

I have no idea how good the product is but getting it to me is slow. It took a couple of days to get the order to China. Surprise for a small size they didn't have it in North America. Another 5 plus days to say it was shipped. The tracking document said to wait up to 7 days before the tracking number comes on line. By then it should have arrived. After a few weeks it is finally left for overseas shipment on April 22. As of May 8 it is not in Canada Post. I ask is it sent by SHIP across the Pacific? Every time I Google the company I get some reviews that are really just advertising and press releases. This site appears to be the more accurate.
