In my industry people do not contact the likes of bark and hope for a contact it's just not how it works. I'd say it's a way to get you to pay for credits up front and then you never hear anything from the " leads". It might be OK for certain services but not the professions.

There was good communication with both HQ and the tradesman doing the job. He was friendly, very professional and very thorough. He left the door area as it was when he arrived with an easy to open and shut door. Well done Bark.

Mark Wilson is a cosplayers best asset and dream. In less than a few hours I had some of the best photography untouched in my hands that I know I'll spend days figuring out which to actually retouch! Amazing person to work with and can't wait to work with him again!

Rubbish

Contacted bark for Wills and I was sent a list. I contacted one Solicitor and never had any reply. Since then I have been sent several emails asking for reviews, which I did, but they are still harassing me for more reviews. I have asked them to not send me any more emails but they are still coming. I do not recommend bark. Peter

Having gone through Bark to to get loft conversion quotes, we were contacted by Simply Home Designs. In no time at all they attended and gave us a very competative quote. Work was scheduled at our convenience and the conversion was carried out superbly. Each phase was explained along the way and the workmen were considerate and polite. Possible Scam?
July 15, 2020

I spent over $100 on credits to contact potential clients. First of all, they made it seem like that was the minimum credit amount I had to buy. I didn't realize I could buy one credit pack that was only about $50. Secondly, most of the people I contacted, I never heard from. I even tried doing the free trial of being an "elite pro" and I still ended up receiving zero clients from this site. Seems like they are trying to trick you to pay them more money when they probably know there will be little to no return.

We do have a minimum credit amount which must be purchased. There are occasions where the system will work out the wrong one if the account was set up with unsuitable service areas. The agent you spoke with would have ensured you had the right one for your marketing needs.

Great Service!

Can't recommend this company enough. After contacting Bark and asking for call backs from Tree Surgeons, we had a call back within 2 hours and the gentleman came within the same day. Due us having to check to see if we had a TPO on the tree in question as soon as we had received the response from the council we again called 1st Class Tree and Garden Services and hey came the very next day and did a fantastic job. We will definitely be using this company again!

L&H Electrical responded to my request within 24 hours and visited my residence on the same day to establish the problem with my oven. By the next day everything had been repaired. Very friendly and professional service by Hilton. Recommend them anytime!

The lead preferences and questions they ask potential customers resulted in VERY poor (in fact zero) leads for my business. It is inflexible from a sellers point of view. I tried for a bit and then requested my money back (you have to pay $400 upfront). They refuse to refund me insisting instead that I get credits. I can't use their system, they appear to have no cooling off period and just shut down the email correspondance sying "We can not help you further". Great!

We're very sorry to hear that you have not had a positive experience using our site.

It seems that our role is different to your expectations of our business, so hopefully we can clarify our role here. We are a lead generation platform that covers over 2000 professions, which means we offer professionals the opportunity to try and convert business and market themselves at the fraction of the cost it would normally be to get themselves to the top of Google (which is what we do). We do not guarantee work, but provide a platform that should garner professionals a 1 in 5 conversion rate - essentially we want to get you a return on investment. We do not charge commission and so do not take any earnings from you, nor do we take any earnings from repeat business you may win.

We are an open public platform for customers to place requests for service providers. These requests are then processed through an automated screening process to check phone numbers and email addresses before being generated into a lead and sent to prospective professionals who may be able to help. As this system is automated we have a Credit Return Policy so that we can return the credits for any leads found to have incorrect information. You can find this on our website under the Help section, however please do email us at [email protected] should you like a copy, or to report any leads where this has occurred in the last 2 weeks.
