Money making scam
July 13, 2020

I signed up with bark.com and spent $396 to buy credits. I contacted at least 20 clients provided by them on their database but could not get any business. I asked for my money back as per money back guarantee on their website and no answer. Very Disappointed. Will report them to Department of Fair trading in Australia as false advertising 30 days money back guarantee..

I'm a trader through bark, I have spent over £200 in leads credits. The leads are a waste of time m, customers don't answer, or reply to emails (no fault of barks) but nor of my own. When paying £12 a lead at the bare minimum you want a opportunity to quote the works. I have been told to F off by a customer upon sending a text message replying to a lead. Bark will not refund leads if the customers number is active and advise you to keep trying them ( To me this is pestering and becomes cold calling). Bark have refused to refund me and I won't be using them again. And will also be advising any other trades to do the same.

Made life so simple

After many unfortunate experiences I decided to give bark a try. They came up trumps. I had a good choice of contractors and they all responded very quickly. Quotes were better than anticipated. Chosen contractor was prompt and efficient.

Scam artists!

The site will take your money and you may get some fake leads, they do not give you back your money as they state in the policy, if the phone number in the Lead rings, then you will NOT get a refund.
Just got one from Jessica Reec. This is fake, just look at the WhatsApp pic, not real at all! The person will never answer the call, email or WhatsApp.

We do appreciate that it can be frustrating when customers don't respond. We usually find this is because they have hired, or are considering hiring, another professional. I stumbled across this website almost by accident and it has been an absolute godsend! We needed an electrical safety certification on a property for rental. I input a few simple bits of information and within an hour (actually less!) I was contacted by 4 separate companies. I made an informed choice on which one I felt was best suited and competitively priced and booked the job that day. It has just been completed (the job) by a really lovely honest guy called Will King from CK electrical on line... all thanks to Bark.
