This is great

I have been searching for some time now for counseling for my daughter, have had no luck at all in my area. Finally after finding this site I was relieved. Very easy to navigate the website and they matched me with a great counselor and we had a session that evening. Highly recommend

Blue Tit Tree and Fencing have done a great job of cleaning our small garden in a very short time. They were very prompt with time and did the job very well with our tight budget as we are students. I thought they were very professional and prompt initially. The contractors contacted me and met on site. And that is where it stopped. Other than empty promises to provide the quotes, nothing has happened and I am looking to get alternative contractors. These guys did not live up to their initial promise in the least and I am tired of being messed around.

Bombarded with Spam

I don't normall like leaving bad reviews but Bark imposed themselves on me without invitation. I have no recollection of subscribing to Bark before my inbox was bombarded with emails trying to pass me unqualified leads most of which had budgets of about £250. Looking at the cost - about £300 plus vat for an estimated 10 leads with an average of a 20% conversion? That's a £150+VAT customer acquisition cost for probably £250 inc VAT revenue? If you are looking for help with web design and digital marketing I'd suggest that anyone who signed up to that deal is probably not the marketeer you're looking for!

We are sorry to see that the leads we have sent you weren't of interest. We reached out to you to help, but you did not respond to us.

Our marketing team reaches out to new businesses when we receive requests for certain sectors or in certain locations that we may not have many professionals to currently fulfil. We offer a first lead for free for our service, however if the business is not interested, they can always click the unsubscribe button at any time to stop emails being received.

Our marketing team finds email addresses for businesses from their websites, and this is information that is in the public domain.

The team of lads worked none stop from the time they arrived until the driveway was completed, although we have only just had it done, at present we are happy to see the driveway repaired, thanks to Bark the job got done

As a photographer and after months of paying for leads, I have never received a single order. They don't reimburse you. I have a complete file with all the responses I sent to what they call "prospects". Less than 0.5% send you a response and in this case it is to say "sorry I'm doing otherwise…" I guess they're all fake customers. Either way, the forms that customers have to fill out are utter nonsense. So even though the client was real this is the worst filter i have ever seen in my life. I have been a photographer for 40 years and due to a move I thought it might be a good idea to use them to be known locally more quickly. I even sent them a few offers to teach them how to make forms but they declined... Be aware that customers don't pay anything to ask for a pro but pros have to pay a high price for each lead. Do not make these people work, the shame of Internet services. Dont waste your money, dont trust them! This kind of people must be ejected, they are the parasites of the Net.

We're sorry to hear that you feel this way, but we refute the claims that you have made against our business.

We tried to reach out to you directly however we received no response.

It seems that our role is different to your expectations of our business, so hopefully I can clarify our role here. We are a lead generation platform that covers over 2000 professions, which means we offer professionals the opportunity to try and convert business and market themselves at the fraction of the cost it would normally be to get themselves to the top of Google (which is what we do). We do not guarantee work, but provide a platform that should garner professionals a 1 in 5 conversion rate - essentially we want to get you a return on investment. We do not charge commission and so do not take any earnings from you, nor do we take any earnings from repeat business you may win.

We are an open public platform for customers to place requests for service providers. These requests are then processed through an automated screening process to check phone numbers and email addresses before being generated into a lead and sent to prospective professionals who may be able to help. As this system is automated we have a Credit Return Policy so that we can return the credits for any leads found to have incorrect information. You can find this on our website under the Help section, however please do email us at [email protected] should you like a copy, or to report any leads where this has occurred in the last 2 weeks.

UNVETTED TRADERS

I spoke to an advisor at Bark.com and informed him that the trader they had connected me with had taken my deposit and was unable to complete the job to the date agreed. I asked what Bark.com vetting procedure was for traders they connected to the public that used their website service. He told me Bark.com did not perform any vetting. Bark.com is an "introductory and marketing" company. I told the advisor I thought Bark.com was the same as a household name company I believed checked traders. The advisor told me I should not compare Bark.com with that company. Therefore, moving forward fellow public read thoroughly Bark.com website before you log your personal details with them which is stored on their database. They then give you details of 'unvetted' traders from their website who may have unethical business practices. To date my deposit has not been refunded.

I was very impressed by the service i got after using it for the first time and the amount of contractors that got in touch it was amazing and such a varied an array of prices and options available to pick from depending on how quick you wanted your items picked up or delivered and how i was kept update on how things were going i will use them again and not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends in the future thank you again peter.

Not impressed, fake leads.

I'm an IT service provider and was surprised to find that somehow I'd been signed up to Bark. I certainly didn't sign up for Bark, but then, I don't say no to work. What did surprise me more than anything else is on the lots of leads that I have been sent looked like they were created by the same person or template. So from a 50 mile radius I had the same laptop with the same fault with the same wording. Looked more than fishy. Needless to say I just tried the "free" introduction and didn't hear anything back. If it is genuine, the service is too expensive. The reviews on here say it all, might not be too bad if you are looking for someone, but certainly not for people supplying a service and I personally wouldn't get a service on here as i'd rather do a trust a trader or someone I know than risk a company just pumping money in to buy work.

Shane Rozario is a real plus for this website and business. Posted a job for some shoot to be done and Shane moved heaven and earth to be prompt and got the job done. The guy is a natural!.
Th shoot session was a great experience, thoroughly enjoyed working with this professional who is a natural and gifted in what he does. The location selection was awesome. The job was completed on time with minimum fuss and I am completely happy with the work.
It would be a pleasure to recommend Shane to my friends and family. Will definitely use him again.

Its a Big Scam

This is a big scam. I have hired a guy through their website and paid him an advance deposit. That guy disappeared without doing my job. When I have contacted Bark.com they simply said we can't do anything go to a solicitor. I am shocked! They just said we don't take any responsibility for anyone we just do marketing. Why would some pay any random guy if you don't provide your platform?

JUST STAY AWAY FROM BARK.COM they are just making their money if something happens they will leave on your own.

Having been a bark user for a long time, I was persuaded to try an Elite pro account free of charge over the phone. The adviser never mentioned I would be automatically charge £25 per month charged monthly afterwards, unldess I cancelled it. I did not notice until 2 months afterwards they charged my current account, and will not refund. They confirmed its my responsibility to Cancel No notification sent to me by email to say they are taking money in advance, Nothing AVOID AT ALL COSTS the pleasant sales people, who lie and omit important information Yes I should have checked my accounts, but I I wasnt told that they would continue to charge my card at will. Have cancelled them now.

We need to know budget and when they wanna start their project. It's not fair to waste points on someone who wants to start tomorrow or doesn't have money. We have 9 credits left now and they want us to buy more credits. We have not received one job. Waste of time and money! Buyer beware!
