I went thru sets of leads for 105. With non the the leads responding. They won't return my money. They are not worth the high cost.

As soon as enquiry went live for a tiler we had response within half hour by two tiling companies. We met one of them next day and they started next day. Job had to be quick turn around, we were well impressed.

I signed up as a professional on Sunday. Purchased credits to be able to to contact potential clients and I received zero leads.
After just 6 days, I received notification that my account (credit card) was charged to top up my credits. I did not authorize this transaction, not to mention, I had 8 more credits on file, which it seemed to have "disappeared" from my account, but it wasn't. It appears this company used my last credits to bid on a client's ad, WHICH I DID NOT DO, and automatically charged my card with additional credits.
Stay away from this company. Also, check your payment settings. They do not advertise that you will be automatically "topped up" or in laments terms, credit card charged.
I am convinced there were no real clients. I tried contacting a few clients and I was not able to book any clients. I had a lead and followed the guidelines to contact the client directly, scheduled an appointment with the client, only for the client to not answer any of my calls or emails.

Had Randy Reese install a fence. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. HE is unreliable, unprofessional and undependable. Needed him to return to reinforce the fence, which was not very firm, after many texts and calls he never returned to finish the job. DO NOT HIRE HIM. You will not get a good job, he is the worst contractor i ever hired

I joined spending almost a Thousand Rand in South Africa.
I have found that hundreds of requests come through my email but it seems to be bot generated.
When you buy the clients, you can't reach them and lose your credits.

Still not sure how it works but I requested a quote for my fence. A list came back and I contacted a few. After a few days, as I had not commissioned someone to do the work, they asked if I wanted to post it on the board. I said yes and within 10 minutes I had two companies interested. One came round that afternoon to quote and we went from there. Happy with the work done. Accepted quote on the Friday and job started on Monday, finished by Wednesday so very happy with timescales.

Finescape, the company I employed to do the work through Bark!
I wrote a review the same day the job was finished and paid the company who had done the work.
The job was a garden path and patio, it looked good and, like a good hard working person I even paid extra because the company owner had failed to listen to the original brief, which was removal of part of the garden to place a conservatory on. This was then added as additional cost. I had asked about a skip but was told the trailer would remove everything. This is unfortunately not what happened, a pile of soil, rocks and rubble from the garden sits on a tarpaulin still and three slabs rock (without the music or stage show) My original review praised the company but this is now four weeks later and no sign of them returning to refit slabs or remove the stains, and rubble which has cost me further the price of a skip to remove despite regular chasing.

The leads go nowhere at all - no one responds or if they do, they act like they don't know why you are calling. Also, Bark randomly changes its price per lead after you buy in. Don't waste your time or money.

Out of 26 leads. Roughly 300 usd. (Auto tick is turned on so it tops off your account and you pay without realizing it sometime as the service isn't clear enough).
Only 1 client came through, talked to the client. Only for the client to cancel the project citing family emergency.
You pay premium prices or little to no results. Its downright criminal. I suppose that's capitalism in a sense. Wont be returning. STAY AWAY.

I wanted to clean the whole back garden and put fences on. I advertised my job on Bark.com and within couple of mins David (the great guy) phoned me and in the next 15 mins, he came to look at the job. And amazingly within 3 days the whole job is done to the highest level of perfection. Very good man with a strong team. I would definitely recommend the website and it's professionals as well. 10 out of 10 to David and his great team.

I hired a social media company through Bark that was a total fraud. The company, Digital Visibility Concepts, DVC, has lots of glowing reviews on Bark. I left a one star review on Bark explaining how the company had taken $1400 from us and went dark afterwards - but the review disappeared. I added it again and it kept disappearing. Bark is a fraud also.

Answer: Bark may or may not be legit, but their barks are very often bogus tire kickers or scammers. They've got a lot of work to do to clean up their act. They need to go straight membership and those needing the work done need to PAY to speak to a professional instead of the professional paying to speak to the bogus tire kicker.
Answer: No it is not, total scam. They take your money and send you fake leads.
Answer: Your reviews are high on Trustpilot because they remove all the negative reviews from their profile. Bark.com removed my review twice. Trustpilot is the only review website that allows businesses to remove reviews for a price. Trustpilot got criticized in several news articles for being easily manipulated of their 'Reviews' for $600 any business profile can push up or down review they want. Look up 'Trustpilot news articles'; they say 'Trustpilot reviews are just paid advertising'
Answer: Agree with above, In my experience, this has been a COMPLETE SCAM. Spend all that money to place an ad, or renew your website, DO NOT INVEST IN BARK
Answer: Bark don't verify whether any of the customer tel numbers actually work and most of the leads are poor quality so they won't answer anyway. Save your money, honestly.
Answer: Very true. Misleading leads. No lead vetting. Just Bark saying leads have been verified. But how do we know when no lead responds. They seem fake to me. Bad experience and worst leading platform.
Answer: Bad lead quality, stay away. Zero customer service. On the phone they will tell you that you are wasting their time.
Answer: The 1 star reviews are real. All the other 5 stars are not. This website preys on desperate businesses that require work and signs them up with a cost. First, they searched deep on the internet as my business has NEVER heard of them before their Spam-my email. They send an email stating that I have a lead on their website that I NEVER signed up on. Then ask for money to see who this lead is. To keep their site running, they say to people who are looking for particular businesses that they have them when they don't.
Answer: £1.20 per credit for a starter pack, then £1.50 after that and unqualified leads with next to no information cost between 10 and 18 credits. 10 leads will cost over £200 and doubtful will generate any work
Answer: It's because the positive customer reviews are almost certainly fake. Look at the dates. Look at the volume of reviews. Approximately 100 positive customer reviews of Bark have appeared on Sitejabber between early December 2019 and today (late January 2020). Compared to the number of reviews they received prior to December 2019, that is just an astounding number of reviews. This is not normal.
