I had no previous experience of Bark and only found them when I did a Google search for a cleaner in Bourne End. Hopefully I have found a suitable cleaner now! This followed many days of asking people if they knew anyone, checking local shop and paper adverts etc. Bark was far easier.

I am writing to recommend Red wood tree and Gardening services. Matt came round to see the Garden and offered to start the work that day! Not having green fingers myself Matt was a great support and helped me to make some big decisions on a garden that hasn't been tended to for 18 months! Throughout the 2 days he was working on the garden he kept me updated on progress and checked I was OK with what he was doing. I have hired him to come back once a month to keep on top of things. Would highly recommend this company.

Absolutely full of fake adverts, very few genuine adverts on there. It's now apparent through the industry to go onto bark, put up series of fake adverts to then steal the prices of other companies

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars, is because my 2nd lead led to a job, but looking at 99% of feedback from service providers, I guess I should consider myself lucky.
I tried to pick my leads as best as I could and approach only those without any other professionals, who already responded to it, but just ended up spending the rest of my 150 credits chasing either non-existent leads, or clients that simply would ghost me. No responses to emails, noone picks up their phones or bothers calling back. Only one estate agency said "thank you, we decided to go with someone else" and I'm not even sure how legitimate that response was anyway.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they'd refund at least some portion of credits back, if you don't land the job, but it's simply not the case. There is also no reason for bark to even help you pick up any leads or provide any other support, as they already made fixed amount of money per response, so why would they even bother?
As a result I unded up doing 2 days worth of work, only to spend the money I earned on ghost leads. Bark now has £150 and I'm back to £0, with 2 days spent on working for them.
Doesn't help that "Pro" badge doesn't mean you're a pro or consistent service provider. It just means you had £239 on your account to spend (ridiculous price to ask too).
Avoid with wide angle

Hi, bark.com is a total scam I was a trades person and was with these guys for 7 months, one day I had my account deleted out of no were and rang up to sort it out and they said nothing they can do! I lost all my credits I had with them. Terrible customer service very unhelpful also leads are sometimes fake and false details. Do not waste time or money with these guys!

For months I added more credits, contacted leads that were, "ready to move forward". Not one of the 50 - 75 leads I purchased turned into an actual client. Bark then "accidentally" charged my credit card and would not reverse the charges. I had To contact my credit card company to dispute the charges and then they shut down my account and did not allow me to use the unused credits I'd already purchased. Please save your money and Do Not Use this Service!
