Proceed with caution - very very greedy with their lead credits. Used to be averagely 4 credits but recently for same type of lead (wedding) they have not only increased their lead price across the board but now expect us to pay 7 or 10 credits for a lead! The leads give little or no useful information so very easy to waste credits. Better platform for wedding suppliers is Add to Event. Excellent value and highly professional. Deffo not greedy!
And don't waste your time completing the BARK "surveys" - they are an absolute "crock" and waste of time. BARK IS ALL ABOUT THE £ and to hell with customer/supplier service.

This company charges you for credits to respond to leads with no guarantee of being hired. They will automatically charge you to add credits without your authorization because its built into their system without your knowledge. If you don't get hired, they will refund the credits but not the money.

In fact, many of the leads they get for coaches are those who need psychotherapy, something coaches are not qualified to do.
What started out as being charged $129.60 ended up being nearly $300 because the upgrade the credits automatically when you run out of credits

Not worth the money!

I've spent over $1,300, bid on over 80 leads so far (111 credits left) and got 2 engagements. Leads are expensive 8 for tax prep and 44 for tax resolution leads. There have been crickets from the rest of the leads mostly. The ones that have called want someone local vs remote/online. My business is virtual/online.

I gave bark a chance because I liked that they provided a customers email and phone number. But they are really useless. They are extremely overpriced and when you complain, they tell you a bunch of nonsense about what you are doing wrong.

Save your money! Try something else for a better chance.

Great service
March 10, 2022

Asked for same day installation of tv wall bracket on a Saturday. Received a call shortly after and dispatcher said he would try. A contractor was assigned, he called me within an hour and confirmed arrival time frame. He arrived as promised. He did a fantastic job. Was respectful, took shoes off and wore a mask.
I would definitely use Bark again

Unauthorized charge

I was charged by Bark.us. I absolutely did NOT install it. They suck! There is no way to keep it from being uninstalled & many other things. They are thieves. Do NOT use them. Waste of time too.

UPDATE: This is a company in the UK! My bank fraud division did the research and this is what I was told. They say they are not the same company but they LIE! I attempted to comment to his reply and couldn't and finally can now. Anyways, I have a screenshot from this very company who charged me for an application that I have no need in using. They are thieves and this guy lied big time! LIAR!

Got an email from this company saying that they are looking for a trainer for a client through this website that I never signed up for. They gave me the clients email and number and when I called it I didn't realize until now it was fake because when I would call it didn't ring for abit and said it's unavailable, no voicemail. I heard people used this app before so I ended up purchasing. They charge me twice and I ended up emailing 3rd of March requesting a refund and that I could access my account and when I did there was no clients on file. They replied March 4 asking for my information and my credit card. Gave my information and still no reply. I spent hours setting up this page for all my information deleted. Even if they end up helping me which I doubt, they're customer service is horrible. They take forever to reply, and seem to ignore my questions I had to tell them twice that that's my site wasn't working until they ask me for my email and when they looked and saw only one 1 fake client and none of the information or all the questions I answered on the page to set up my profile. They didn't seem to raise any concern or try to resolve it to access my clients. Didn't even recieve a receipt for my charges as well.

I tried in vain to communicate with Bark services to request a simple quote for a simple small partial house cleaning. Registered on their site... filled out their form, gave them my Zip Code for a small town town in AZ, Cornville up near Sedona... and they sent me 7 cleaning services... only 1 out of 7 was even in my area. Three of them were from cities 1 & 1/2 to 3 hours away, Prescott and Phoenix ares... and 2 were from Columbus, Ohio & Boca Raton, Florida... OMG! Also, you have to register with their site, and part of the process involves getting a code via text! When i entered the code, got an error message, entered again, same code, because when I requested new code they sent me the same code, entered it again... same error message... this when on for at least 5 or 6 more rounds... finally gave... then when i tried later, got a message that my request for cleaning services was CLOSED,. Implying that i was not worth the trouble. However they kept sending me emails 5 or 6 to check out the BARK cleaning services! WHAT A JOKE... can't belief i wasted so much time with this service... and no way to call an speak to customer service rep to clear up these issues and finally to hire a cleaning service! Never Again. Take my business to only a local cleaning service within my immediate area... no more than 30 minutes away! Else, I'll try ANGI's!

Never trust

1A contracts got in touch with me, and from sales woman Brenda, and Robert who comes to view the project ( and takes your money) right through to Steven Hughes the whole lot of them ( team in background answering phs also) are rip off merchants why they can't be stopped is beyond me. What happens to all the money they have scammed from innocent people. WHO SAID CRIME DOES'NT PAY. The criminals seem to get off Scot free and us law abiding citizens seem to pay the price. Steven Hughes doesn't seem to be bothered that he puts his name to companies that rip people off.

Service was just a scam. Did not build the website in 7 pages as placed as 7 pages but only had 3 pages with other people faces and not what I asked. No payment options. Please you can get a website for $80 or less for $900 stink job they did. Booooooo

Hey everyone! I'm a tax professional and decided to expand my clientele so I can process more returns remotely. I was introduced to Bark thru SMS indicating that someone is looking for a Tax professional. I've spend nearly $900 to purchase leads. It was a complete waste of my hard earned money and time that I took to communicate and respond to prospective client messages. Don't look for easy way to acquire new clients. It simply doesn't exist.

Garbage

Bark will sell leads to anyone who will take them, doesn't matter how garbage the company is. And when asked about the company's they recommend they simply say do your own research. Thought the point of the site was to find quality companies. Anyone can search Google. Unreal.

Not bad but not sure...

I have been trying to get my head around this company and I'm struggling to. I am a therapist and was sent one free lead from Bark, which I followed up on, and it appears to be legitimate. That being said, the price for credits is quite high for leads that may not materialise. But what puts me off most is that I'm not sure if I want to be affiliated with a company that's doesn't vet therapists. We are already struggling as an industry to be properly regulated, as there are many rogue under qualified therapists allowed to work without regulation in place, and I don't see how this aggregator is helping the cause. I'm worried that they are putting already vulnerable clients at risk by allowing any 'therapist' to respond to clients without any prior screening or checks in place, and the clients might assume that these checks have been done and not do their own due diligence.

Bark recommended a Cowboy

I wanted a roofer, John Watton came round and sounded like he knew what he was talking about gave a reasonable quote. He then did not do what he said he would do and the cementing he did was done with a terrible mix that is just falling apart after a week. When I called him back he did not want to do a proper job but wanted more money to break other parts of the roof.
