Bark Acre roofing came to clear my, and my neighbours, front and back guttering. The job was done quickly and efficiently. The only reason I gave only 4 stars, was because, he turned up nearly 2 hours late! Otherwise, a very satisfactory job.

I have my own company. I tried 10 times to get work and they guys charge you $150 to $180 Credits - 100. They send me everytime email he needs work this and that but whenever I used my credit score then they charge me but that people's never ever hire you. Fake website

Using Bark for a security business is an absolute fraud and waste of money. From my experience Bark takes not responsibility for what clients puts up. They don't properly screen the jobs and the paid user has to waste time chasing up leads that dont exist. Bark puts up 5 professional takers on a job knowing full well the first two would have a better change of getting the job. This was said to me by Bark themselves. They don't verify land lines and after purchasing the lead, you call the number and it rings out or its disconnected. You pay a huge amount for credits and the lead never gets back to you AT ALL!. My last lead texted me back for a job that involves illegal and cash work. No one monitors or scrutinise there activities and you are left paying a huge amount of money for no service! STAY AWAY FROM BARK!

Scam Fake Leads

This company is clearly a scam. I used their guarantee and still with all the "leads" I contacted none of them answered the phone even with my callers on standby to call within minutes of a potential "lead". Don't bother dealing with this company they are a waste of investment.

Bark scam website

This website has faked people; they get contact numbers of people who never ask for any services, but they use their contact to let people who provide the service pay money for buying credit; with my experience, after I purchased the credit and started to call the people who should they post to ask for my service over ten people I called and all of them between no answer or they didn't need any service bark website steal my money and refuse to refund it also the customer service person of them very rude

Magic in a day!

This was the first time I contacted The Bark team with a request to change an extractor fan! Tamas Korompai came as soon as he was free today, he covered his shoes before entering and he removed the faulty extractor fan. He went ahead and purchased another locally, he installed it with a smile and now we have a new kitchen with a functioning extractor, light, fan and all! He found all the hidden wiring and now it's with a smile that we cook, again! Can recommend him as he is honest, not expensive and jolly, too. 5*****

I purchased a leed for 8 credits sent a message to the customer to try and land the customer.
The customer deleted their request and made a new one which was only then 6 credits. So not only did I over pay. Bark.com wants me to pay for the customer again and the customer can't see the previous message I sent them. Rip off 100%

I have maintained a profile on Bark.com since at least a year before the pandemic, so I am not holding that as a factor. I'm not even holding the ratio of used credits to completed/paid projects (though it is almost laughably low). The statistic, for me, that really sinks the site is the ratio of paid leads to even getting a return response from the lead. In my experience that has been lower than 1 return response for every 5-8 paid leads. I don't know how to describe it other than poor lead quality.

I realize that I am in a highly competitive field (photography) and I am doing my best to not bemoan my results as sour grapes. I have taken pains to respond to leads where I have a lengthy track record and extensive professional experience. I offer competitively low rates. I respond with carefully worded email responses with samples of my work. Yet I have observed that fewer than 20% of paid leads even bother to respond.

I have complained about this before to Bark.com. Their leads do not result in enough responses, let alone paid completed projects, to justify the cost for this form of marketing. I was even one of their 'Elite Pros' for a year of this time and actually found no change in response rate. I do not have any specific suggestions for Bark to improve the vetting of their leads, but that is solely where my complaint lies.

To be fair, I have completed some satisfying projects from Bark.com leads, but I would honestly say that dollar-for-dollar the sum total of the cost of leads might actually exceed the total revenue of generated.

Scams on Bark

I have gotten many scam requests and Bark refunded some credits but not others. Bark is not a well-designed system and not worth the time and money.

The wording is the same as many scams I have received. Sample text to watch out for "i have this little business which i wish to be larger it's located in the state and the company is based on importing/exporting of smaller products within the automotive niche like parts and tools. So..."

They were rude. They laughed at me during the phone call like my situation wasn't important. They refused to even reason with me about a refund. Scam vibes to me. Customer service is very rude. They will refuse to transfer you to the manager and will constantly read the manual like they're not even listening. Highly would not recommend this experience.

Scam Close Them Down

Scam fake leads they need to be laughed at and closed down! How do you sleep at night! They gave a lead that texted me back and said she never went to them for service she only inquired about there platform and her name and occupation was registered they tried to gaslight me by telling me she pushed the wrong headline however she and I did meet and talked! About decent ways to get honest leads! Do not fool or do any kind of business with this company! I'm praying that they be shut down immediately! Bark keep your comments to this review to yourself! An absolute waste of my money!

I have bought six leads from Bark. My return has been nothing. I can't even get a return phone call. Every leads ends up with leaving a voice mail or text message. I have had a few text back in the beginning but somewhere through the process the leads stop responding. I can't even get a "I'm sorry, we decided to go with someone else." One lead ended up with a disconnected phone number. I contacted Bark and their responses was "Sorry, we can't verify that the number is not working." What ever that means. I highly recommend staying away from this platform.

I see that Bark stuck their standard response in the comments so just so that we are completely clear:
1) They did not reach out or respond to my complaint until I left my negative review on here and on Trustpilot. I responded to them when they replied to me.
2) They did not credit me as promised under the 'Get hired' guarantee.
3) I did make an additional purchase so that I used up all of my credits which then made me eligible, but did not have any credits refunded to my account.
4) They did eventually refund the money that they took from my account without permission and blamed me for the problem.
5) They stated that the leads are qualified. What this means is that anyone can fill in the boxes on a multiple choice form and submit. There is no verification or validation of their answers and so I stand by my comment.
6) They will send you a message to state that someone is very interested in speaking to you. You will spend more credits contacting them only to be asked by a very upset woman how you managed to get hold of her contact details when all she did was look at my profile.
7) I am convinced that this site is a total waste of money for anyone other than plumbers and builders and I recommend if you are a professional services business you go elsewhere.
8) If you look at the positive reviews you will see after a short time that they are all very similar in the words and language used.
A big mistake to get involved with this company.

Joined Bark as a way of increasing sales. I have spent £262.00 under the 'Get Hired' guarantee. Beware of this. I used most of the credits apart from 8 and received no replies to the contacts I had made. Because there were still 8 credits on my account I could not claim under the guarantee. As 8 credits are too few to contact anyone, you are forced to buy another pack to use up the remainder before you can claim. Bark then took an additional unauthorised payment from my account. I have complained and am awaiting a response. We shall see. The potential clients are completely unqualified and so even if you do get contacted, most of them in the Business Consulting field are not ready to proceed. Mostly they have vague ideas and no understanding of the help they need. Bark will contact you and say that a client wants you to contact them. This is also not true as the client I followed up with had only viewed my profile and not indicated they were waiting for contact. I suggest you treat this site with the utmost care and keep a close eye on what money they are taking from your account.
