Bark.com is terrible for customer service and sellers. They have a lot of fake leads and do credit you back hardly for anything. If you are hired then they just cancel on the site Bark.com doesn't give a $#*!. Ran by Brits and who only care about diplomacy. Waste of money and a lot of it. Would not waste my time if your a business. They are only a search engine with fake leads.

I hired Paul, from Adessia Painting, to fix and paint my living room and master bedroom, all in short notice, and the result was excellent.
He is very experienced and likeable. The job was done on time and on budget.
It was a good experience and I hope to bring him back again.

I have a cleaning business. I have spent about $250 for credits and to make myself "ELITE " whatever that means. I have emailed about 20+ people in the last month, using my credits and so far only one person has filled out our quote form. I realize Bark has no control over who responds, but there are cheaper ways to get clients. I have great Google reviews and we use natural cleaning products so it's not my service that's not attracting clients. Having to compete with others who also pay for credits is just making Bark money and not getting companies a fair chance.

They sell freelancing services and most of the leads they sell are fake. These services are purchased by vulnerable businesses, and freelancers hoping to build a client base. What they receive in exchange for hundreds of dollars are:

1) Leads where the name on the cell phone voicemail is completely different from the name they provided you and the person says they don't know who you are calling for and why.

2) They have a bunch of people who aren't able to legally work in the country where they are located and those are sold as business leads. The business owner purchases the lead thinking they will be hired for a job and then it's actually just a person who they cannot legally hire trying to find a job.

3) Bark has a policy that they have to reach the person in order to confirm the lead is bad. Nevermind they won't be able to locate the fake people their sales team conjured up. Their response to you will be that they cannot verify it so they are unable to provide a refund. This will happen over and over again even in situations where the person added to the form they were looking for a job and not trying to hire anyone. Bark's goal is to steal the credits in exchange for fake leads. They know they don't have a product with real leads.

My advice to Bark is to either hire legitimate salespeople or close down. All of these fake leads are unfair and utterly disrespectful to business owners.

Leads that lead to nowhere but cost you £10-£20 a pop! Don't even have the chance to sell to a client. Accounts get closed pretty soon after with the reason from bark that they likely went with someone else lol leads are not genuine and not contactable - avoid at all costs. Also on site saw duplicate leads - twice in a week! This outfit should be shut down.

None of the businesses you introduced do not respond to calls and messages and are completely fake and are just scammers of time and money and are not real.

The people who work for BARK are idiots. This company is a joke and I suggest entertainer never use them because 95% of the people who put in a bark lead is not going to hire anyone. Bark gets their money but we get very few gigs. Stay away from them.

Tried to get local cleaning companies to do an inter-tenancy clean. They either said they'd call me back (& didn't) or just weren't interested (despite advertising as such!). Felt that I was going with my begging bowl! Completely different experience with Bark com. Potential companies contacted me and I felt in the driving seat (as I should have, as a customer); all viaing for my business. No time wasters and job done to my specification. Great site for landlords, particularly if properties in different areas. Thanks Bark. Happy customer. 5*. 100%.

The specialist quickly made the apartment clean I liked it, but the smell of detergents was unpleasant. I didn't pay attention to it before, but now I don't like the smell. I think you should change your detergent, so I can give you 5 points.

I can not believe the total amount of complete incompetence, rudeness, and unprofessionalism shown by any singular company on the planet.
I experienced things with Bark.com in the last two weeks that you could not possibly make up.
My first take on it when I viewed the leads was they looked so vague and incomplete I had already moved on to another leads company, however, they made me a 50% offer on the credits, so I thought I'd take a shot with them. Big mistake.
First off, they promise at least 10 or more leads in their starter packs.
I ended up with 8 leads, and six of them turned out to be completely fake ads, that had the word "Verified" beside them.
As I found out later, a lot of people just give fake information only to look at the inside of Bark, and the word verified is meaningless.
Each time I realized an ad was fake, and reported it, the minimum wage inexperienced staff members would rather pick a fight insisting I prove it was fake, rather than do their own investigation, which was pretty easy to do.
As of today's date, only 3 of the 6 fake ads have been returned in credit.
Where are all the employees? Other than the one rude obnoxious email opener, I've tried calling over five different times and sent over 20 emails in two weeks with only three of the emails replied to.
Bark is a total train wreck. I can not see this company lasting more than another year.

Please don't use him, we were brutally scammed by their guy claimed to be from a roofing company called Apex Roofing Solutions and called John.

He came to fix our leaked roof after we listed our job on the Bark.com. John inspected our roof, giving us an estimate of £2,400 for two days' work – for a full job that included removing old roof battens, the old roof membrane and damaged tiles; and replacing with them with fully new battens, membrane and tiles). He told us that our roof was in a very bad condition, and needed to be fixed as soon as possible and needed all of the work described. He told us he could do the job in a few days' time.

We trusted John and accepted the price. However, on the day he came to do the work, he completely changed his tune. He suddenly told us the opposite: that our roof was in a good condition, and didn't need much work. He "finished" the job in half hour and demanded the full £2,400 payment.

When we questioned his job, he became aggressive and threatened to call the police on us and tear down his work if we didn't pay him in full. We were terrified of his physical strength and his threats, so paid him in cash that day.

He said he would send us the ten year warranty certificate 10 mins later. When we didn't receive the certificate, we tried to contact him, and realised he had blocked us. We have no way of contacting him – we do not have an email address or his full name. We were completely scammed out of £2,400.

Worthless, I spend 200$ in it and did not get any business waste of time and money. Please do not spend money in this app.

Bark is very much a scam if you are a professional looking for leads. I have had little success with their platform and have definitely spent more for leads than the income in return.

Most leads seem very fake and you will try calling and either the leads phone isn't in service or most times just goes right to voicemail. Some actually have voicemails setup but feel that person never really made the request on Bark because they will never call, text or email you back. Most of the time the voicemail is full or not even setup, you will ask bark to refund your credits because of this and they will deny it claming they verified the user of the phone, not sure how that is possible if they don't have a voicemail or you can't reach them.

Bark needs to do a much better job in vetting leads and how serious or "worth it" the lead is.

All in all, my experience has not been good and would recommend if you own a business to not waste your money with Bark. There are much better and more legitimate services like Thumbtack that you know each lead is a real person. Or even better to spend that money on marketing to create your own leads. With way to many leads seeming to be fake or not an actual person, for that reason alone I wouldn't waste your money or time with Bark.com.

It is truly sad that businesses still exist that scam their paying customers.

Fast response time by at least 5 roofing companies for an island cottage roofing job that needed to be completed by the 1st week of November.

BARK in Australia is a total scam as far as Real Estate Photography goes.
Over time I have tracked consistent patterns that clearly indicate that this business has a high percentage of bots, the lead generation is extremely poor, trying to connect with a lead is against the odds as most don't even engage.
Friday is a busy day! Drone Photography Locations are mostly in 'No Fly Zones'!
The same potential client names reappear with consistency wanting to engage your services!
This UNBELIEVABLY CROOKED BUSINESS always WINS it can never lose.
The leads are not genuine, the leads seldom respond & Bark will not Refund a Credit.
A DECEPTIVE BUSINESS MODEL THAT IS NOTHING OTHER THAN A SCAM CATEGORY!

bark.com has no way of verifying who is requesting information. I have had kids playing with their phones and request for a photographer.
Only few people are properly using this site, most of times, I receive NO response from people. Also, bark.com refuses to credit

I signed a bark and bought $200 in credit, I didn't get a single customer, those who showed up were scammers, and others were unemployed people looking for work... I went in there to get more customers and didn't get any. I sent several emails and they never responded. Very bad customer service and they don't solve anything

But not who you keep pushing forward. They are starting next Monday. So we will see how they perform. Lady who came to the house, sounded very efficient, very pleasant as well!
