We monitor reviews for authenticity
Too often I am purchasing leads via Bark who do not respond to phone calls, text messages, voicemail messages and email messages. They are ghost leads who I am never able to interact with and simply just drain credits.
The quality of inquiries is bottom level.
The cost to acquire the leads is expensive.
Bad leads result in low closing rates which means there is easily a loss on the system or at best a very small Return on Investment.
A few management changes to policy and pricing and refunding, and you guys would have a very valuable program. Right now you are getting only half the business right. Sadly it is not the monetizing half.

Bark is a very expensive and uncertain way of gaining new business. I have been with them a while and I am very selective as to the leads I respond to as there is no guarantee I will make the sale. Very often people are looking for the cheapest option. Having said that I have had some work this way but on the whole I am not very satisfied with it. It is very expensive! I have spent far more on leads than I have on getting new sales.

Not worth it. Very overpriced. Customers are poorly vetted. The main issue lies in that you pay to speak to each lead but lead lack information. This is because they don't capture the information from the lead for me to make an informed decision resulting in waiting many credits just to reach out to a potentially customer that is likely not a fit

I have spent a lot of money with Bark replying to so called leads. These people never replied to my tenders and despite following up never got a reply. I mistakenly persevered but got to the stage enough was enough. Complained to Bark several times and eventually I decided to leave. Not one job in 5 years. I got more requests for employment and that cost me credits as they were coming through as leads. Customer Service was rubbish and despite many complaints, all Bark did was offer me 5 free replies which would have been used up in no time with the same result. Tender offered, no reply. Free responses wasted. These people are taking it in for a service they can't provide. AVOID at all costs.

Bark.com guarentees that if you spend money on credits and apply to a job if you don't get the job you will get refunded those credits back... THEY LIE they just take your money and have no intention on refunding you anything! I will never use them again!
FURTHER MORE They have deleted my account with them and never refunded the money i spent on leads, they just kept the money. So now they steal money from people as well!

I made a huge mistake and got on a 6 month contract with BARK at $500 a month, after 6 months they kept billing me anyway and I ended up with over 5000 credits.
I own a talent agency with 1700 acts. Went through the entire 4000 credit submitting to "gig alerts"
Only got contact back 4 times and never once got a booking.
RUN AWAY!
Then they took my money and cancelled the credits

Ive been with Bark.com for over 6 months spent well over 300 euros got no job leads only 1 throughout the time and that one job was local in my community only i purchased the lead was i cracked the details this site has no potential of even offering any lead its all money money money having to pay for to get job details dosent make sence instead should be advertiser paying for details also ive had my full details advertised on my profile and still dosent make sence that i still have to contact the advertiser and have to pay even tho this site claims that my profile is 100% complete why cant people just see this details and me having to pay for get job oure scammers site end off rip off dont go here cancel your subscript they take your badge staright away money money

Bark advertised that they would be able to get clients for my business, and also had a 'Get Hired' guarantee. Once the initial credits you buy for the leads you get are exhausted and you get no clients, they then re-issue those leads - so you can have a second chance, and they give you some tips on how to get these customers (like responding earlier to ads etc...) Although this was helpful, and also their customer service is 24/7 - unfortunately, everything else, including the quality of the leads themselves is poor. Speculative requests for services and many, tyre-kickers is what I came across. So the leads are unqualified. They still pass them on to you regardless that of course cost you credits. But that's not the main problem - biggest issue for me was these leads get passed on to many, many vendors. Sometimes the leads you call tell me they have had up to 50 calls on their ad - and are fed up and frustrated at Bark doing this. It's a bit of scam, as on the platform, Bark states how many providers have responded, and then 'close' it once it gets to max of 5 responders. Not true. These leads seem to be passed on to hundreds of businesses, even outside the UK (at least in my industry, web development) as these potential clients tell me they have been receiving calls from other countries like India etc... I called Bark about this and they 'assured' me that they only put these UK leads out to UK based businesses - again, not true, as the people who placed their ad with Bark tell me they to get overseas calls...so I think I would tend to believe them, and not Bark. So basically in the end you're dealing with already pissed-off people, no wonder I didn't get any clients. In short, I would advise anyone to stay away from Bark.

Spent hundreds of £ss trialling leads with bark.com this was a complete waste of time and money. At least 80% of potential opportunities they provide are a total scam. They say the leads are verified which means no refund if they don't reply to your email, SMS, or phone call. At least 4 out of 5 never answer which ultimately is a complete waste of any supplier's time. The guys at the top here are drinking cocktails and you're paying for them. BAD BUSINESS look elsewhere!

Bark.com is an absolute SCAM! They post FAKE leads, and 9 out of 10 times, I got ZERO response despite replying within MINUTES! The site claims to limit responses to 5, but even being the first or second to reply, I got NOTHING. Out-of-service numbers, ignored emails, and texts—Bark.com is a FRAUD! They trick you into buying more credits with fake leads. Customer service is a JOKE, making you wait 20 minutes to restore credits for bogus numbers. The overwhelming vast majority of leads are dead ends. In the last several months I have spent around $500 on credits to purchase leads, with only two clients requesting a quote. Calls are not picked up, voice mails are not returned, and emails are not answered, frequent calls made are answered by a machine that tells me the number is not in service, which leads me to believe that these were fake leads. Whether or not these are fake is irrelevant, the return on investment is far too low to keep using the service.

Bark.com is a scam. Their professionals are not vetted therefore if you are scammed BARK.com does not take any action against the scammer nor do they try to help. I would strongly advice not to use bark.com website as there is no one taking responsibility. Only ones who's benefit with this set up are the professionals and BARK.com themselves because professionals will not lift a finger unless you pay them a deposit and BARK.com will only send professionals enquiry/lead for a set price.

Answer: Bark may or may not be legit, but their barks are very often bogus tire kickers or scammers. They've got a lot of work to do to clean up their act. They need to go straight membership and those needing the work done need to PAY to speak to a professional instead of the professional paying to speak to the bogus tire kicker.

Answer: Your reviews are high on Trustpilot because they remove all the negative reviews from their profile. Bark.com removed my review twice. Trustpilot is the only review website that allows businesses to remove reviews for a price. Trustpilot got criticized in several news articles for being easily manipulated of their 'Reviews' for $600 any business profile can push up or down review they want. Look up 'Trustpilot news articles'; they say 'Trustpilot reviews are just paid advertising'

Answer: Bark don't verify whether any of the customer tel numbers actually work and most of the leads are poor quality so they won't answer anyway. Save your money, honestly.
Answer: Very true. Misleading leads. No lead vetting. Just Bark saying leads have been verified. But how do we know when no lead responds. They seem fake to me. Bad experience and worst leading platform.
Answer: Bad lead quality, stay away. Zero customer service. On the phone they will tell you that you are wasting their time.
Answer: The 1 star reviews are real. All the other 5 stars are not. This website preys on desperate businesses that require work and signs them up with a cost. First, they searched deep on the internet as my business has NEVER heard of them before their Spam-my email. They send an email stating that I have a lead on their website that I NEVER signed up on. Then ask for money to see who this lead is. To keep their site running, they say to people who are looking for particular businesses that they have them when they don't.
Answer: £1.20 per credit for a starter pack, then £1.50 after that and unqualified leads with next to no information cost between 10 and 18 credits. 10 leads will cost over £200 and doubtful will generate any work
Answer: It's because the positive customer reviews are almost certainly fake. Look at the dates. Look at the volume of reviews. Approximately 100 positive customer reviews of Bark have appeared on Sitejabber between early December 2019 and today (late January 2020). Compared to the number of reviews they received prior to December 2019, that is just an astounding number of reviews. This is not normal.
