Babebox lite box

I would like to thank Babebox for their understanding during this difficult time. Covid has limited some of are extras. Babebox has been nice enough to offer a lit e box at a lower price for my request. I am in Canada paying high interest rates and delivery fees too pricey to maintain a mthly box. With the lite box and reduced fee I get the best of both worlds. Thank you Babebox for you understanding and for fulfilling my wishes as to still receive some great products. Love Babebox!

Deceiving

I tried the first box for free shipping only but could not cancel because their policy (which is in fine print) that you have to make an additional monthly purchase. They charge you even if you authorize them not to. The products aren't worth the $35.96 (which includes shipping). I don't feel they should charge shipping for the $29.99 price. Two of the products I received I will never use. Don't get caught up in this. There are better ones like Allure Beauty Box.

I'd give them zero stars if i could.
Shortly before I was moving, I updated my address to my new place. They still sent it to my old address. I have contacted the numerous times and they never respond or are very rude about the mistake THEY MADE. Stay away.

The first box I received was alright. Was not everything I expected, but there were two products I did fall in love with. They were certainly not full sized products, but I could have lived with that. However, there's no easy option to buy the products they introduced to you. I would have thought they'd offer them through their site and maybe even at a discounted price. Not the case. If you want the products, you've got to really hunt for them. Again, could have lived with this.
My second, third, and fourth box were not as good. I loved nothing out of the second and the only item I would have liked from the third arrived broken. I emailed the company, sent pictures of the damaged item and was told they'd issue a replacement if I verified my address. I happily did this and awaited the replaced item... two weeks later and I noticed an email that said my babe box shipment was on the way. Finally, I thought. Only, this was not the replacement. This was my next box and it had actually not shipped at all. The shipping info was apparently the billing notice lol so I contacted the company again. I got an email in response saying that I never replied to the address confirmation with "address on file ok" so would only be given 15% off. I screenshot the address verification email that I did in fact send and stated that I was not aware there were magic words I forgot to include so closed with "address on file ok".
Another week passed... no replacement, no response and still no box for the month. I cancelled my membership, wrote again expressing my annoyance and asked for a tracking number. I received no response, but did actually get a legit shipment confirmation. Wowee. Thanks.
Today, I received my last and final box with an tiny eye shadow as an extra. An extra...
An extra to a box that is seriously lacking in content. Let's see, the same liquid gold eyeshadow I got last month that is far too glittery for anyone over the age of 12, a mini hyaluronic facial oil, single babe brand face mask and 5 pack of babe brand lip masks. That's literally it. Hardly worth the subscription fee and a far cry from name brand, full-sized products. I
Babebox is a freaking joke. Save your money.

I never received ANYTHING from this company. I tried to email them and got generic responses. Stay away! It's unfortunate, I'll take my money elsewhere to get cruelty-free and quality products that ACTUALLY show up at my home. I work for a product market research company and this is
Completely unacceptable. I wish I could leave a good review, because I truly had high hopes. They told me my items were delivered and continued to hit my credit card even after I made them aware I never received the first "box" or whatever it may be. I am EXTREMELY unhappy and have notified my credit card company to block any further charges. It's all been an annoying waste of my time and money, having to spend time on the phone with my card company, emailing back and forth with "Babebox," etc... I have surgery scheduled for Tuesday and this nonsense is the LAST thing I need in my life. As a former business owner myself, I only write bad reviews as a last resort. I always try to resolve the issue without having to do so. All I can write here is reality.

This company SUCKS.

First off, all of the products I received: garbage.
Second, I didn't realize that they were going to charge me for another box (my fault I didn't read further I suppose.) I cancelled the sub and the person I emailed said they would 20% off for my next order. Asked her not to charge just for another week so I could get paid again and not be strapped for cash. No response. Got charged $35! When the box itself is $25, no 20% given and they took my money when I told them not to for just another week. I've sent two emails. No response. Waited on the phone for 45 minutes. Also took well over a month to get here even. Do not fall for this $#*! company.

Don't waste your money

I ordered my first box on a promotion and even for the 7.00 I think I paid I feel as if I wasted my money. The pallet I received was broken & the other items weren't anything I'd actually use. I reached out to babe box about replacing my broken pallet and was asked to send photos and other information so I did. It's been 3 months and still no replacement. I've reached out to them several times and each time they just ask for me to send pictures again which I do & it's never been resolved. Cancelling the subscription is easy enough if you're able to find the right area on their website however I was forced to get a second box because of the promotional offer. The second box was garbage but nothing was broken this time. At nearly 40.00 a month you'd expect actual name brand cosmetics. All I received was no name trash.
Their customer service is terrible as well. Overall just don't order this box. There are so many other monthly subscription boxes for cosmetics that blow this company out of the water.

This is what happens when you log in too often to change your subscription or anything on the website. There is no place on the website to delete my credit card so they keep charging me every month. I did finally get my "free" box that actually costs $16.95 and it was all travel size products, with one pallet that was broken up. I notified the company and they said they would send a replacement. Not only did they not replace the pallet, but they charged me again. I checked at the end of last month to make sure that my subscription was canceled and it showed canceled but they "resubscribed" me and charged me again! There's no way to get rid of them because they have my card on file.

No product, broken product, and no service To mend it just said sorry you're quitting and I said I'm not quitting until I use my coupons and yet they haven't use them and they just keep sending me the box I can get a hold of nobody I have emailed time and time and time this is the worst box at all of them and I belong to a handful let's just say so it's all of you thinking about it just say no ipsy glossy box Fab Fit Fun on just like the ones ahead and he said almost anything is better than this box use your points of girls and quit sorry to be negative but I am positive I can give you names of the good boxes to this just isn't one of them. That's just because I didn't open the box because it was spilled everywhere but at least it was in the box last time there was no product in my box and they had me take pictures and guess what they didn't do anything about it but they took my money again if I could put zero on some of those I would have but there wasn't zero available

Scam!

This company will scam you out of your money! Beware of they so called "free" trial box. Upon purchase of the trial box, i was not made aware of being absolutely required to pay they next month's box unless i continue with the subscription. I cancelled before the second payment date as I am struggling financially and am displeased with their quality, but wad told that apparently I agreed to and am required to pay for next month's, but not to worry because I'd get a discount. Fast forward to multiple arguments. I blocked their direct debit and cancelled my card. I get another email of them now obviously angry i cancelled the debit order without "their permission" and that i was required to destroy or send back the trial box. I will simply be sending back their product unopened. I've heard from others aswell about how they have had payments taken from their bank account without permission. Please do not sign up for this product!

The quality of their products is absolutely horrible. You can find better cosmetics at the dollar store! When I contacted babe cosmetics asking for a refund, I was denied because it was the first box after the free one. When I commented on one of their Facebook photos about my experience they deleted my comment and changed the settings so no one can comment on anything. This subscription is extremely expensive for the junk you get in it and is absolutely not worth it. Between their garbage makeup and abysmal customer service don't even *think* about giving them your money. If I could give zero stars I would.

Just got my box

The first box I got was the one i signed up for free and it was nothing but junk. I then got charged $35 after I canceled the subscription and they told me I couldn't get my money back because when you sign up for the free box, you also sign up to get a box for 2 months. I've never heard of such a thing. Although the stuff I got in the new box is pretty nice, I'm still upset. And you pay $35.95 for 4 products. That's insane. This is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with.

First order came 2/5 items were melted and leaking NOTHING was done or even SAID to me. I asked them cancel subscription with them because I was upset lack of response and they still charged me next month $35 and never apologized or did anything about first order, might have good products but terrible terrible customer service
