This place is terrible. Where do I start. $80 for garbage flowers. Delivered to the wrong address at the wrong time. I even paid extra for a custom order of sunflowers and red roses. I got yellow roses and four sunflowers filled with green garbage fillers. I called and tried to get them to fix the order. They basically told me that they could not do anything about it and refunded me FIVE DOLLARS. How insulting. I cant believe they wasted my time and money. All I wanted to do was send my friend flowers for her birthday. These people have caller ID because they stopped answering my calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The ratings on their website are all lies. I should have checked ratings on other websites because theyre all terrible. If i could give less than one star i would!
Chose this vendor because they said that they delivered same day on their site, and said they worked with local florists. Sounded good. I ordered flowers for my partner (very slow loading site). Received confirmation email, that allowed me to track. Last night, I asked my partner if he received the arrangement. He did not. I checked the status, and it stated that there was an attempt to delivery. BUT-in my order notes for the delivery driver, i stated someone may not be there, and to leave the flowers on the porch.
I called this am and asked where the flowers were. I was told that there was an attempt at delivery. Well, I have a home security camera. No one came to our house all day. So, lie #1. They tried to call the local florist, but the florist wasn't opened yet. I was assured that someone from Ava's would get back to me. When I had not heard back by noonET, I called again. The person I spoke with called the florist, and they were told that the flowers would arrive shortly. Still nothing on our home camera, so I called again at 2. I was told the flowers would arrive by 5. Nothing by 5. At this point, I requested a refund of my delivery fee. I was told that they couldn't do that, but could refund me 5%. Fine. He called the florist, and told me that the flowers were en route, and would arrive by 7MT. So, at 6:58, I called. Flowers still not arrived. I was told the florist was now closed, and that they were closing. I asked for the name of the local florist direct, but was told that they weren't allowed to provide this. I asked for a refund, and I was told that they weren't allowed. So, I opened up a dispute with my CC company. I placed the order early yesterday, and a day and a half for same day delivery, with no delivery in site is enough for me. Buyer beware. Oh, yeah, with that 5% discount, I was also given 10% off my next order. That'll never happen.
Omg, where to start. 80 bucks! For garbage. Could have went to wal mart and did a better job myself. And how about lied to several times wrong arrangement delivered and a day and a half late!
Good thing it was a c section, or darling lady and baby wouldnt have gotten them Absolute, no good! We are buissness owners. If we conducted our buisness and treated our clients like they do. We would be out of buisness. Like they deserve to be after readings if complaints. Luring ads by lieing. Price, it may say 44 dollars but it turned out to be 80. Am complaining at my bank. Its not what i orderd. They said same day delivery! Am embarrassed of arrangement. Trashy looking. If the flowers you send are important to you? Simple. DONT USE THIS COMPANY! Unless you dont care you have to make 19 calls and repeated lies. Am 54 dont have time for non sense. But this time, for the sake of reasons for flowers. And importance of to humans and, why we order them! Your also treated like your stupid. Am angry. Didnt even put my email down correctly after repeatedly telling. This is a client's daughter, who had her first child! Smh scammers
Used the website (friday afternoon) to order a sympathy arrangement, to be delivered to the funeral home.
I used your company because it said it was in White Plains?
Fast delivery? And family run?
I called later on Friday because delivery was not clear.
After checking, the young lady, assured me that delivery would take place Saturday before noon and not to worry.
I checked the website all weekend and could not determine delivery, not impressed.
Monday was very difficult to reach you. Call centre agent answered laughing and re-queued the call before I spoke. Ten minutes later system told me too busy and hung up on me.
Two more calls to get another telephone number from sales agent.
Finally told yesterday Monday, that delivery was made to a church at 900a? Still nothing on website.
I asked for a call-back from the duty supervisor, because I was seriously disappointed. I waited all afternoon for the call.
We know that flowers are for the family left behind and are a show of love and respect.
My arrangement never made it to the viewing. I never gave any church information, no funeral, only mass.
Again I rang this morning asking about a manager calling me. Horrible agent. Sorry no guarantees... you used website. Your fault. No call back. We are too busy. Dying on mother's day...

I request a 50% percent partial refund. As you can see, nothing was right.
No a good outcome, I think my late-aunt and her family deserved better.
They did NOT deliver flowers as confirmed.
I had to notify them that there were no flowers delivered and reschedule delivery.
They did NOT deliver what I had ordered, NOT even close, NOT even in the ballpark.
They would not return a courtesy call back to me, I attempted to reach out to them twice.
"Stay away and go to a real Florist."
This was an awful experience... had I not asked my sister to send me a picture of the flowers for my mom, I never would have known what stunt they pulled. They delivered something totally different... smaller, cheap looking! I called to complain... the person in customer service preceded to tell me that the corresponding pictures are just advertisement pictures! He said that is not what you are guaranteed to receive... I preceded to tell him that if I order "Daisy Deluxe"... I expect daisies! I demanded that my mom receive what I ordered... it took 4 phone calls, they told me 3 times that the order was delivered, IT WAS NOT! It took the 4th call... the flowers looked dead! Never again... do not support this farce!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. ITS 5/20 and my mom still has not received her flowers for mothers day for delivery on 5/12.
Customer service is horrible. Was hung up on by Supervisor. The flowers I ordered and paid for were wrong. I asked for a planter full of Perennials for my mom's front porch for Mother's Day. What she received two days after Mother's Day was an indoor basket and a card that read " In Sympathy ". Last I knew my mom was alive and well. I was horrified. How could a company be so insensitive. The owner of this company Matt Neuenhaus should be ashamed of himself and his employees.
Because the flowers we ordered for a loved ones funeral on May 4,2019 were not quality and certainly not worth $200.00. It was embarrassing and the quality was non existent. When I complained to customer service they stated without a photo they couldn't help us. We were in shock and grieving! What a horrible and heartless company. Inferior quality on a day where you cannot do a redo the funeral of a loved one. Shameful.
I'm completely at a loss for words. I ordered a flower delivery for mother's day. The order was placed on May 1. Delivery was scheduled for May 10. (Two days before mother's day) As of 8pm on Mother's Day, the flowers STILL have not been delivered. Im sad and embarrassed that my flowers for my mother in law never made it to her. I can't believe the mismanagement at this place. The whole reason I ordered the flowers early, was to guarantee she would have them for her special day. I think I need to dispute the charge on my credit card.
If I would have the option to give zero starts to this review I would do it. This people lie to you and they just don't care. I placed 2 orders to be delivery on Mothers Day and as the day is ending I called them to see why my flowers haven't been delivery and they just told me they couldn't make it possible for today and on top of that they don't refund your money, they kept the service fee which was a total of $40 and my mother and mother in law are not even receiving the flowers. I spent almost 2 hundred dollars just to get upset this day and loose $40 for nothing. I would never order flowers from this place again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to do it. The manager on the phone was so rude even told me she was going to hang up the phone on me not understanding my frustration. This is unreal! Worse customer service ever!
Outrageous service! I ordered a beautiful bouquet of baby pink and white roses. My mother was sent hot pink carnations and white and purple daisies. I called to complain and offered me a $15 credit like I'd order from them again! Their own policy states if you don't like their flowers they will send out a proper bouquet instead. Of course that's after they take the other flowers back. I told them I wanted them to do that. I read back to them numerous policies from their own site and I was talked over rudely and told no. The women thought she had me on mute while she yelled about me and then hung up. Worst costumer service. Comparably to comcast with how furious I am. My mother was sent bottom of the barrel grocery store flowers when I paid $80 for what I presumed to be roses.
I live in GA, and find it very difficult to find a company that is trust worthy to send flowers. I have tried 1800flowers and FTD, both with bad results. I found Avas Flowers, and have used them twice. I realize the pictured arrangements, may be different; depending on what is in season. Both times, the arrangements were beautiful. Thank you so much, I will continue to use your services, and thank you for being trust worthy across so many miles.
We ordered a specific bouquet of yellow daffodils to be delivered today. They were unable to provide them or any yellow flowers, and only offered to deliver a bouquet of their choice tomorrow. Unacceptable! When we asked for a full refund, they refused, even though they were not able to provide the service they promised. They said they would be keeping a $17+ service charge. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!
Advertised as a local florist. Flowers I ordered for my mother were not as nice as the photo. Some looked withered and the arrangement looked very unprofessional nothing like the advertised one. I sent a text, emailed and called no one got back with me. Customer service seems non existent! Do not order flowers from this place you will be disappointed!
I ordered an arrangement for my sisters funeral last month and what was sent looked nothing like the arrangement on the website. The lilies in the arrangement were wilted and not even arranged throughout the arrangement, there was no bow on the vase, and they did not attach a sympathy card saying who the flowers were from. Avas Flowers has very poor quality, prices are high, and they charge an additional $18.93 service fee. On their website they show they are a five star company and I'm unsure how they arrived at that. I definitely have learned a lesson and will never use this company again.
I tried to place an online for an orchid to be delivered to a funeral. The website froze up on me and I had to call their customer service number. I should have just went to the local grocery store and purchased something there. Long story short, the guy told me he would give me a better price than I could get online. Needless to say, he didn't. They actually charged me an additional $18.93 more and I'm unsure what that "service charge" was for. I can tell you that it wasn't for their outstanding service! He couldn't understand English and the sympathy card that I paid an addition $4 for was wrong. I paid for an orchid. They called me twenty minutes later and told me that I couldn't get an orchid but reassured me that they would deliver something just as beautiful. What they sent was a green rubber tree looking thing for the same price as an orchid! I could have gone to the grocery store and paid $15 for that, the note/card would have been free and my name would have actually been on the card but I chose to trust this company. I paid $85 and didn't even get my name listed on the sympathy card. I am so horribly disgusted and disappointed with this company and the service that I received. I would NOT recommend that anyone use this ever. You will not get what you pay for!
I placed an order (#*******) online a week prior to the scheduled delivery date; the order did not show up on the correct day which was my mother's birthday. This was not as concerning to me as the display she finally received, which I had paid $70.00 for. I feel the company misrepresents the items on their website as they do not match the final product and based on their response from my customer complaint emailed to the company; they are aware ahead of time they cannot meet expectations but continue to falsely advertise these products. Customer service had no desire to resolve the issue. Please take the time to do your research before placing an order, if I had read the reviews (most are similar to the issues I had) I would have never wasted my time and money with this unprofessional and uncaring company.
I ordered sympathy flowers and paid over $100 and needed to have them delivered the same day. They advised flowers will be delivered by 5pm. At 7 pm the flowers were still not delivered. When I called customer service they advised someone tried to deliver them at 4 pm - this was untrue because people were home the entire time - there was no call no email and no attempt made to deliver these non existent flowers. They apologized and said we will give you 10% off and they will be delivered tomorrow morning. I wish I would have seen these reviews before ordering. I'm disgusted with these people who run and operate this site. This site should be banned
My day in hell with this company is just too long to go into.
Suffice it to say that - by my fourth phone call, I finally called to cancel the order. This call was made on Tuesday at about 5:00 to cancel an order due to be delivered on Thursday. The "manager" (yeah, right), refused to give me a cancellation confirmation code because he had to "run it by the boss for approval"
I asked when I could expect a confirmation - and he said someone would contact me in an hour or so. Obviously there was no return call - so I called at 8:00 this morning (Wednesday) and lo and behold... there were NO NOTES about me cancelling the order and now it's "too late because they're due to be delivered tomorrow" - are you surprised yet? Because I'm not - he did it on purpose because their cancellation policy is 24 hours from the time your ordered it... UNLESS it's for the same day or next day delivery. So he decided to scam me. My bank has other ideas LOL - there's a dispute on file now for the charge and they're good at this.

Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
