I ordered flowers for a friends funeral one day before visitation and 2 days before the funeral. The spray was 90.00 and with fees and taxes cam to $112.95. I went to the funeral and there were no flowers from my family. The funeral was on a friday and I was too upset to call then so I waited till Monday after the weekend and was first told I had to call within 24 hours so too bad and then they sent me a picture of a bunch of flowers which was not what I ordered and said that was proof of delivery... Horrible company. Never use them... its a scam we should start a collective suit against them. RL
Ordered flowers at noon. For my daughter's birthday. I was assured they would be delivered on time. I was asked for my phone number and email address so that they could reach me in there was any problem. They charged my account and never delivered the flowers, nor did they contact me regarding any problem with the order. I didn't find out they had not been delivered until I asked my daughter late last night. No one contacted me. After 30 minutes on the phone with customer service, they offered to send the flowers and provide me with store credit. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I would be contacted on a short period of time. Five hours passed, had to go through the whole story and was told that my money had been refunded and the flowers would not be delivered and that I would receive no store credit. I had the call reviewed and the supervisor told me that I had refused the delivery and the store credit. This was a lie. Don't waste your time and money on this company.
I ordered flowers for my moms birthday on 10/1 to be delivered by 10/2, her birthday is on 10/3. The order did not get delivered 10/2 because they didn't have the arrangement. Rather than call, I received an email that went to my junk mail. I called them on 10/3 at 8 am and stated that it had to be delivered that day by noon, otherwise my mom was going to be gone. I was told that they could definitely do that but it's an extra $7, fine I pay the money.
It was not delivered on time and my mom did not get the flowers on her birthday. I spent over 90 minutes on the phone with customer service trying to reconcile the fact that I paid for a service that was not delivered in a timely fashion. Nothing.
I ended up paying $80 for flowers that were not delivered on time but they think that's okay because she got them the following day. This company gives no control to their customer service reps and blames everything on their contract delivery service, which will get you nowhere. Stay away. Horrible customer service.
Ordered flowers and chocolates for my daughter's birthday 3 days in advance, WITH SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS to deliver in the morning as my daughter leaves for work at noon. I received an email confirmation that flowers were delivered at 4pm. I called and asked who accepted the delivery?. AFTER 2 PHONE CALLS AND 40 MINUTES OF MY LIFE WASTED TRYING TO GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER, it was revealed that the flowers were dumped on the doorstep outside her apt. And left unattended for six hours before she got home. No box of chocolates. Called again and received a 15% credit on a $179 order. Oh boy! Totally disinterested and useless customer service dept, reciting the same canned speeches only served to escalate my frustration. Save yourself enormous stress of dealing with this company. Putting it mildly, it was a huge disappointment.
Sent flowers for Mday. Tried these losers and have been regretting it since. First, I got confirmation the flowers were delivered when they weren't. I created a trouble ticket saying the flowers were lost. The flowers were delivered the next day along with the attached note saying they were out of flowers on Mothers Day. Their site also promised some big discount for making my purchase online. The discount was small (7%) and there was a service fee for my purchase of 33ish%. I put a dispute with my credit card company with a print of the note saying they were out of flowers. Their terms of service says in very fine print they are allowed to make small changes to the order. I don't think substituting non-roses for roses is a small change so I felt good about getting my money back. After several months my credit card company came back saying the sleazy company is not willing to issue credit to my account. Wish I did better reseatch before going with these aHoles.
Simple message. When you put an order in they will take your money and not deliver anything. This is a true scam. Nothing legit about this company as well including no refunds or customer support. It is completely illegitimate. Stay away unless you want to donate your money.
Absolutely the worst ive ever used... you people are crooks you steal our money and laugh when we complain spemt 86 dollars and it looked like something from wallmart for 10dollars... how embarrassing. At my nephews funeral too hope you go our for dinner and order a steak and choke on my money... low class con artists
Never order to this flower company or youll regret it. Everything on their pictures on site, once you order it, it will not be the same item or color comes to you in short false adevertisement. Theres alot if errors in terms of choosing your flowers putting it on the basket section and checkout.do yourself a favor dont waste your money ordering flowers to them.
I ordered flowers to send to my Sister in Law who had been injured in a car accident and was in a hospital in Wyoming. I placed the order on 9-12-19 and missed the cutoff time for same day delivery by 5 minutes. The order said it would be delivered either that day or the next day. The next day I had a phone call from an unfamiliar number which I did not answer, no message was left. I received a call on 9-14-19 where I was told they could not deliver until 9-17. I told them to go ahead and after hanging up I changed my mind and tried to call them. I was told to go to their website. I had been there before and it was of no value. I tried again and went to the cancel link and was told to call them because it couldn't perform the function. I called them again and finally got a customer (no) service representative who told me he couldn't authorize the refund because UPS had the order (why couldn't they deliver for 5 days?). He tried to talk to a supervisor who was occupied and said the supervisor would call me later that day or the next day about authorizing a refund.
I located a local florist who delivered the flowers within 4 hours. I should have gone there the first day instead of waiting two days.
I attached two pictures. One of what I ordered and one of what was delivered. I paid for the larger bouquet and they ordered from a local florist the smallest bouquet. They don't actually send the flowers. They find a local florist and they buy it from them to have them deliver it. So they ordered the smallest one and I paid $80
This company is a scam! False account numbers that you can't plug in to track your order on their crapy website, excuse after excuse about why things are not being delivered, and just over all bad service. Also if they say they will give you a refund make sure you call your credit card company and cancel that payment because you will never see that money again if you don't. STAY AWAY
Absolute worst floral delivery service out there. Delivered on wrong day flowers were dead and no message on the card. They guaranteed next day delivery and it was never delivered.
My bouquet sent to someone was 95.00 and didn't look anything like the upgrade I paid for. It didn't look like the small one
Regarding order # ******* I don't have time to call and sit on hold for another hour. On Tuesday September 3 I placed an order on line for a plant $73.00 to be delivered to Faith Baptist Church in Hines Oregon by 11:00 am on Saturday September 7th. I called in at 1:15 on Saturday and spoke to two different representatives and was on hold for almost an hour and no one was able to tell me what happened to my order or why it was not delivered. I said that we were going to be at the church until 3:00 if they could just have it delivered that they could call me and I would come out and get it. That didn't happen and no one could answer as to why it wouldn't be delivered. The only option was to have it delivered to a home address the next day Sunday September 8th
It was not delivered or attempted to be delivered! My husband took over the call and relayed the extreme frustration and disappointment and was told that it would be discounted to a total of $11. Not discounted and refunded $11. This has been the worst experience and customer service I have had. If it was not going to happen a call to let me know would have been appreciated and would have allowed me to make other arrangements and not have to deal with all of this crap while at a funeral.
They take your order, charge a bunch of service fees and call a local florist to fill it. BUYERS BEWARE
This is feedback I wrote to Avas Flowers: I am very upset that this site came up as a local florist for Keene NH. My aunt's birthday (92 years old and in poor health) was on Friday 8/23, and my order was placed on 8/22. Today is Tuesday 8/27 and still no delivery. She may not live much longer. This process to get her flowers has been horrible. I was charged an extra $18 service charge in addition to the cost of my order. I was promised delivery on 8/23, between 11:00-12:00, then on 8/23 between 4:00-5:00... Called back again, and talked to someone around 7:00 pm... My delivery date was changed to Tuesday 8/27 which is too late, as her birthday was 8/23 and I don't know how much longer she will live... Also she will be getting something different than I originally ordered to be delivered sometime today by Fedex MAYBE. It better be a beautiful arrangement including greenery, ribbon and card. It better not need any rearranging, as she is not able to fix it if and when it arrives... Your company is such a big misleading scam! I am extremely unhappy! Your phone service is terrible. When you get a person on the line they lie about the delivery... VERY VERY MISLEADING AND POOR SERVICE! STILL WAITING!
Arrangement was delivered on time but looked nothing like the arrangement I ordered. Not in the correct vase and majority of the flowers were yellow daisies. Probably worth less than $10 and I paid over $75.
No apology from customer service, tried to explain that they sometimes make substitutions. A bouquet pictured with two types of purple flowers and orange lilies should be delivered with some type of orange and purple flowers. WILL NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN!
We live in Rochester, NY and ordered "Belise Sunrise" from Avas Flowers in Huntersville, NC for our son and daughter-in-law. My wife also went through most of the complaints listed previously. Our son sent a photo of what was sent and the arrangement was like 'weeds' compared to the photo on the website. Tried to complain and got the usual BS double talk - they sent another replacement which was a better arrangement of 'weeds'. Called to try for refund and got $8.40 out of original $56.00 spent. Bottom line - do not business with this company, you will be very disappointed.
FRAUD! One word that sums it up. I ordered a pastel sympathy bouquet PREMIUM size with banners and card. NOT only did they "not deliver" a bouquet but also LIED about it. They took my money over $200 but delivered NO flowers for my aunty's funeral. The WORST business ever! Don't bother ordering anything from this business. They claimed they delivered it to the funeral home, but the customer service rep (John) said they delivered it to the church. So which is it? And if the bouquet they claimed was delivered to church or funeral home, It was NOT a PREMIUM PASTEL SYMPATHY BASKET FLOWERS, DID NOT HAVE ANY BANNERS OR A CARD ATTACHED TO IT AS ORDERED, but it was PATHETIC looking and looked like someone just threw some LEFTOVER flowers together LAST minute and there you go! The bouquet was PATHETIC looking! If that's the bouquet they claimed it was delivered. You be your own judge! Go on avasflowers.com and look at the photo of a PASTEL SYMPATHY BASKET and compare it to the photo of the sickly looking bouquet they delivered. Attached below. IT'S PITIFUL!
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
