Disappointed is an absolute understatement. My husband ordered flowers to be delivered to my work as a surprise for our anniversary. He gave them the time frame in which I would be there. Not only were they late to deliver them but they called ME to tell me that they were delivering flowers to my work THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE A SURPRISE. They called both of us afterward and myself and my husband gave them our home address to have them delivered there instead of my workplace. They delivered them to my workplace despite the fact that I wasn't even there to receive them and even wrote the wrong name on the card. Truthfully, I think my husband deserves his $50 delivery fee back considering they completely spoiled the surprise and screwed up everything else along the way.
They flowers and teddy bear were beautiful and very lovely. It put a big smile on a pretty girls face!
I ordered based on the photo online. It had white lilies, yellow roses and purple lavender. Half the flowers, especially the white lilies, were not in the order delivered. The delivered product is not as stunning as that advertised.
I sent flowers to a friend who got surgery. Ava's website showed me it was delivered. But I was sure my friend would let me know. I had to spoil the surprise asking her. SHE DID NOT RECEIVED! I had to call Ava. Then they finally delivered it. But it was not what I purchased. Less flowers! I payed a service fee of $24.99 for this service!
I wanted to surprise my wife by having roses delivered to her at work on Friday. I was told they would be delivered Friday before 4pm. They had not been delivered by 4:30 so I called and asked for them to be delivered to our home. They were left at her work Friday evening after the business was closed with no delivery confirmation. The flowers were left outdoors in the wind and rain till they were discovered Monday morning and they were totally beat up. I asked for a refund and they refused. After about 45 minutes on the phone after many holds they agreed to replace the flowers on Monday. The flowers were not delivered on Monday. I called on Tuesday and then the flowers were finally delivered on Wednesday. The replacement flowers were not fresh and already had petals falling off the flowers. I do not usually complain but I will never ever order flowers from Avas Flowers. Also they advertise a dozen roses for $58 but I was charged $120 and never received an invoice. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option.
I ordered a birthday arrangement for my mother, for same day delivery. Got to checkout and there was a service fee 24.95, basically 50% of the arrangement total! Order was processed fine with no flags. I received a call and email a couple hours later to check my order. It was a notice that they were unable to deliver same day and that I also had to pick another arrangement. The options were awful, so I cancelled my order. I received a phone call from customer service stating that they would personally call my mother and explain that it was their fault the flowers were late, wish her a happy birthday, and offered a 20% discount. They assured me the flowers would be equivalent in design to those I picked out. This all seemed reasonable, so I accepted. My mother called the next day to thank me, but told me that the flowers were all wilted and half dead. They arrived in a box, with no water and the vase was shipped loose in the box! I am attaching pictures of what I ordered (Birthday Indulgence) and what I received, so you can judge. Even if these had arrived in great shape, they are not even close to the ones I ordered. I called customer service to complain and was only offered a partial refund. They said that was the best they could do. I understand that a local flower shop probably put the arrangement together, but the responsibility falls on Ava's. Ripped off and disappointed!

Husband sent flowers to my step daughter who lives in another state. All she asked for was for us to send her some flowers to school to make her feel special on her birthday. When she sent the picture of what she got, I was very very disappointed. It looks absolutely nothing like the picture. I read where it said they would try to make it similar but this is not similar. We paid $100 plus for this, a $1 tree looking bear and a card. Soooooo embarrassed. Never ever using these people again. I can't even get in touch with nobody.
Very disappointed. Delivered flowers did not look as advertised. I understand that substitutes are allowed, however, delivered arrangement was very low quality, supermarket quality at escalated premium price.
Additionally, be aware of additional fees, such as service charge of $25 on top of all other fees. Do not recommend. Will never use again.

Ordered a floral arrangement and then upgraded to luxury grade, it was anything but luxurious and the color combination wasn't even close to what I selected. Flowers were not the freshest and didn't last.
The florist that sent the flowers to my sister happened to be the florist she used for her wedding 20 years ago. They did a great job and the flowers were so fresh they lasted over a week! Thank you so much!
Ordered flowers cost me $90. Shes got style Looked like garbage. Was nothing like picture ciuld have done better myself going grocery store and buying a $10 bouquet flowers were dead in 2 days. This company said they would get back to me. OF COURSE THEY STILL HAVENT thier lucky i even gave them a 2. Suppose free delvery. They charged me 30. Asked for proof lol its in my phone
Ordered Easter Sunday tulips for my mom. Ordered from the webpage... tulips WERE available and an order was placed. Then I received a call that the tuips were sold out,even thought my order and credit card were processed. I then had to settle for a dish garden with no flowers in exchange. The dish garden was in no way equal in value to the tulip order which it "relpaced". Dissapointed
Ordered flowers for my moms birthday to be delivered April 5. Payed extra for same day delivery, it's now April 22nd and the flowers never came. Payed $100 dollars. Will never use again.
Paid 60. For bouquet - chargedfor delivery 9.99 but added an additional service fee of $28.64?

I thought this was a local florist, but they are actually some sort of marketing site that partners with local florists. When they say "our designers," trust that Avas has NO designers on staff. Just a website and a few people to answer the phones. It's a set up that most are not aware of, until there is a problem. Funeral floral arrangement was never delivered, even though I received a delivery confirmation text and when I called TWICE, they kept telling me that the flowers got delivered and they kept putting me on hold for 1 min, then 2 min, then 3 min, etc. I spent over 2 hours dealing with folks with heavy accents. It was like I was calling overseas. When the bereaved recipient told me that NO FLOWERS ARRIVED, I knew I had been hoodwinked! Avas had me on the phone a long time trying to wear me down from getting a refund. They tried multiple times to try to get me to do a reorder. For a funeral that has already occurred? Really?I finally had enough of their games and had to roar loudly into the phone like a deranged madman to get them to do an immediate refund. I can only imagine how many people they have tricked who don't even realize it! Stay FAR AWAY from this company!
Poor value, when I asked my girlfriend about the delivery experience she told me the person was borderline rude. I also was genuinely shocked when I saw how small the bouquet was. I well understand delivery expenses are a non trivial amount, but I still found the size of what was delivered very dissapointing.
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
