Long story short, they couldn't get the order correct, not once, but twice! So much for celebrating Mother's Day with my mom who lives across the country. Do us all a favor and go out of business already! Don't be fooled by the "local, family-owned company." They aren't a local florist! Do yourself a favor and skip this disaster of a company and locate an actual local florist and support LOCAL!
I know they say it may not look exactly like what it did online but this wasn't even close. My kids could have put something better together than what I got. Was very disappointed. The delivery response time was fabulous but that's about it. Embarrassing to send those kind of flowers to somebody
I couldn't be more disappointed with this 'service'. First, they do some kind of trickery to make you think this a local florist in the area. I found out after placing the order that this is national flower store like 1-800-FLOWERS. While shopping I picked out what I wanted and they quote a price. You go through the process of putting in all the details, delivery address, credit card info, etc, etc and then on the last step they inform you that there is $25 'service fee'. With the service fee, their flowers are more expensive than other flower sellers especially local flower shops.
They also bungled the delivery really badly. They were supposed to deliver on Monday and my fiance's work. Her closes at 5pm and Ava's wanted to deliver it at 6:30pm. I called and explained and they agreed to cancel delivery since the place was closed and deliver the next day. Monday night I got a notification that the flowers were delivered. They weren't delivered. Tuesday, they weren't delivered either. I filed a complaint and Wednesday, they confirmed it had not been delivered and that they would deliver it Thursday. Today is Wednesday, maybe it will come tommorrow which would be 4 days late. At this point, I'm not betting on it. I only know this is the plan because I've had to call them 4 times. Their customer service is horrible too. They go out of their way to make it difficult to talk to someone and they just keep redirecting you to their website and that was telling me incorrect information.
Avoid this place. It sucks.
My niece was pleased by the arrangement. Thank you for your quick reliable service. She said they were stunning!
The flowers I ordered were delivered in a timely manner. The flowers were fresh. I highly recommend this florist.
These were sent to my grandma on her birthday. She was totally surprised and absolutly loved the arrangement. She even send a photo of them a week later ~ still looking beautiful!
I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. They never came. Waste of $75! Can't get ahold of customer service either!
The flowers were delivered when promised. They were an order I placed from Florida to my mom in Virginia. She said they were beautiful and she was happy with her gift.
So they are very excited to take your money but cannot meet the delivery window and give you virtually no option to resolve because their contact info both by phone and online chat option do not let you specify the problem. The automated phone option still says in May 2023 that the delays are COVID related. They have no problem taking your money and nickeling and diming you to death on top of their high prices and then don't meet the window specified despite the fact the window they gave me was still after the designated date they asked me to select for delivery. I would suggest using a local florist. I will never use them again.
I ordered flowers for my mother. They failed to deliver and did not notify me. Unacceptable service
We put in 2 orders through this company to be sent on Mother's Day. While she was on the phone ordering the flowers, she requested a picture to be sent prior to delivery to see what the arrangements would look like. Long story short, the woman went in circles explaining why this couldn't be done. Fast forward to today, the day AFTER Mother's Day. My wife's phone is getting blown up with texts stating that the order was never sent because they had too many orders to be fulfilled. This order was placed with enough time that we could have called another florist if they couldn't fulfill the order. And why did we learn of this AFTER the date it was supposed to be sent?
If you go on their website, it boldly states all of their '5 Star ratings'. I couldn't find any Google sites that actually showed this. Even the Awards section is lies, A better thing to google would be avas flowers scam and the better business bureau.
While we got our money refunded, I believe they are a scam because they will overbook their deliveries and when they can't fulfill it, they royally screw over the customer.
This is the first time we have used an internet florist and will be our last. If you want a good experience, shop local so you can actually SEE what you are getting and KNOW that people will do their best to get it on time and look the very best. It's because those people are your neighbors, not faceless people from across the county that couldn't care less about you or their product.
The day of the holiday, we get an email: " Thank you for choosing Avas Flowers for your floral needs. Due to supply chain issues the delivery of your order is delayed but rest assured the arrangement will arrive ahead of the holiday for your recipeint to enjoy." The gift was ordered with more than enough time for Ava's Flowers not to fail, but they failed. Don't use them unless you like being let down. Unfortunately we didn't look at reviews, but having a 1 star overall review across all platforms tells you about this place.
My son received the flowers but not on the good day and the box of chocolates never arrived. I will not order again.
DON'T USE Ava's flowers!
They sent something to my mom that looked absolutely nothing like what I ordered. Half of the flower were DEAD
A TOTAL SCAM & RIPOFF
Ordered - Lighthearted Moments Mini Rose Plant - sub container was a clay pot and not even a drip plate -- this was pictured with a basket - I understand "Rose color and container will vary depending on local availability." but a clay pot and NOTHING else would NEVER trust he Avas Flower Network again and you should not either.
It was very easy to order and it arrived promptly at the destination according to the delivery instructions given
These flower were wilted, starting to turn brown and over priced. I paid $70. For 7 ugly tulips. Very disappointed, these were for my DIL's birthday. 1st photo is what I ordered and the 2nd is what I received.
Ordered flowers for my 5 year anniversary got and email saying they were delivered, they never were delivered, I called them to get the order fixed and it's almost impossible to get someone on the phone and when you finally do they do nothing to help you.
I will never buy flowers from them again.
I ordered flowers to my mom for mother's day and no flowers! Very disappointing! Never will I order from here again! Don't waist your money
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
