Not what I ordered

I ordered a beautiful, expensive, floral arrangement for my Mother while she recouperates at home from surgery. She got a dozen red roses without any arrangement to them. If I wanted red roses, I would have ordered them. I was disappointed in the quality and amount for the price I paid. Will NOT USE this company again.

We had ordered a beautiful flower arrangement from Ava's in Gallatin mo.
For a very special client/friend Who had a very serious operation. After placing the order.We get a call from Ava's the next morning we're thinking, it's confirmation on delivery. First they say they couldn't get the exact flowers ok, I realize stuff happens but I had asked them to get it as close as possible.So not only was delivery late but the first pic is what she got the second one is what we ordered... Not even close hell not even a the same flowers in a different color. So please buyer Beware I can assure you that they lost our business... Also after their charges it was over a 100. Hell we could of sent a dozen rose's. Absolutely Pathetic... Never again

Dead on arrival

I ordered flowers for my grandma's 87th birthday on 2/23/22. I was told they would be delivered the next day. My grandma did not receive them until today, 3/1/22. When my grandma opened the box, the Orchid Plant was completely dead, no chance of reviving them.

I spent about 45 min on phone with representative before they finally issued me a full refund. I was very disappointed.

Don't!

Scam. Looking for a florist in a particular town? Ava's is NOT there. They are an internet company that posts photos of their arrangements and when they coomunicate to the local florist they state a list of flowers that is NOT representative of the photo - much less. Talked to two local florists who both stated they get nothing but complaints about them... DONT USE THEM!

I placed an ordered on a Saturday; it was to be delivered the next day. I checked my emailed that Sunday and the email stated they attempted to deliver the package; which was a lie because the email was sent out at 1:29pm-but they supposedly attempted to delivery the order at 4pm the same day. (An obvious LIE!). I called them several times and no one was able to provide information on my order. The customer service was awful because everyone I spoke to kept telling me they would reach out to the local florist (but the local florist never answered their calls; and Avas will not give the customer the local florist number or anything else. Not worth the $70.00 headache!
Dont do Business with these people! Awful

Didn't get the bouquet I ordered

I ordered the cheerful bouquet on the left, but they sent my grieving friend (who lost both parents within a few days of each other), the ugly, depressing flowers on the right. They did tell me they had no yellow roses, gave me the choice of red, white or orange. I chose orange because everything else would stay the same. Nothing matches in the bouquet they sent. "My sun, moon & stars" is the bouquet I ordered. What they sent wasn't even close to what I ordered. It cost me a total of $79. They offered me a $10 refund. Not OK. I am contesting this with my credit card company.

My order was embarrassing

I purchased a vase of flowers costing $134 with delivery. I purchased the large version of the arrangement. When I arrived at the wake I was completely embarrassed by the size and lack of flowers. It was mostly greenery. I could have purchased better flowers at a supermarket. They refunded me $30. Big deal! Shame on you Avas. Never again!

Seems like a legit company, but they didn't deliver the flowers when they were supposed to. They were supposed to deliver them on Sunday, then they said that they delivered them on Sunday, but there were no flowers. I called Monday, they said that they would deliver them by the end of the day, and if they didn't that they would refund my money. They were not received on Monday. I ordered flowers from Urban Stems (absolutely fantastic company) who actually got my flowers there earlier then expected. Now Ava said that they have picture confirmation of delivery. I have asked to see the confirmation, and it has not been sent to me after 2 days, and they won't give me a refund. So I'm out $100!

Terrible service / SCAM

I placed an order for medium angel plant. To be delivered same day due to a death in the family. I promptly got a receipt with confirmation and order details: They got the recipients name wrong, they got a small plant instead of medium, it would be delivered the next day after I was told it would be the same day. I tried canceling the order literally 10 minutes after placing the order and they said they couldn't cancel it. Buyers beware

This has to be the worst experience every. The flowers were crap. Promised to make a late birthday delivery and upgrade to a crystal vase. The vase was crap too. I wish I read my review before purchase. I can't believe they are still in business.

Avas Flowers have a D+ rating on bbb.org, which I realized after I tried to cancel my order. I wanted to do something nice for my for Valentine's Day so on 2/1/2022, I ordered 12 red long stem roses, a red vase, a hilliium balloon and a card with a special greeting created from me to be delivered to her job on Valentine's Day. I waited all day on the 14th to hear the excitement from my wife regarding the surprise and when I did not hear anything from her when she was leaving from work at 3:50 P.M. which was 10 minutes before the time she was supposed to leave. I immediately got very upset. I attempted to call Avas Flowers and was immediately suggested that I utilize the online resolution due to high volume calls. When I went online, I selected to cancel the order and was immediately informed that the order could not be canceled. My wife stated that when she got home, she received a call asking if she was at the location where the flowers were to be delivered, and she informed them she was headed home. The florist offered to send the flowers to the house, and my wife agreed. The surprise was no longer a surprise. The rest of the night ended up being 3 additional calls to verify the address, and she ended up getting the gift at 9:30 P.M. I received an e-mail shortly after stating successful delivery at 6:00 P.M. which was a complete lie. It was not the 12 stem red roses I ordered. For $119, it ended up being an arrangement of different color knock-out roses that died in 2 days, and the card greeting that I composed was misaligned on the card. I apologized to my wife, and I learned from this experience to never allow a business to do something I could have prevented by doing it myself.

Biggest scam

I spent $60 on a beautiful bouquet of flowers for a 60th birthday. I was STUNNED when my friend sent the picture. The stems were broken and it looked like a small arrangement you would find at a local grocery store for $4.99. When I went to call I could not get through and I could not submit any type of inquiry about my extreme disappointment. I am livid. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I ordered flowers for my girl friend and at 62 that's hard enough, but I had them delivered to her work, she's a dental assistant, but they never came. I call your GREAT costumer service and the person who help's,, first thing, (I'm lying!) she says to me, the flowers were delivered, I say no I asked. She says what's your girlfriend number I have to call and see? And it was BAD! And to make it okay,, they refund my money,, no sorry, no letter it say to my girlfriend I'm sorry for forgetting You! Nothing! NEVER Again.

Valentine's Day, 2022:

It's a shame that I have to give them 1 star as it's the lowest option but even giving them 1 star is way too much. If there were an option to provide negative numbers to depict the lowest of low - that would still be too good for this company. This company is BEYOND awful and should be permanently closed. Every state Attorney General should make it their sole purpose to close this operation because its continued allowance to operate is a menace to society. Not only are they thieves but they literally suck all joy out of special occasions. The high ratings on Google and other sites listed on their website are complete works of fiction and goes to show just how far they are willing to go to purposely and willfully mislead shoppers.

Flowers ordered well in advance for Valentine's Day delivery SHOULD be delivered as committed. However, lying to callers throughout the day as the 7 PM delivery commitment time approached about on time delivery and then don't deliver is unconscionable. The audacity for customer service to tell callers "we are too busy and won't be able to deliver today, how about tomorrow?" is outrageous!

Fair warning to those out there. Do not waste your time to order flowers through them. Also, be aware that they are actively changing their business name by removing the apostrophe and going by (Avas Flowers) as well. Don't be fooled- it's the same scam of a company. You've been warned. Go elsewhere! Save your money! Don't risk having a special occasion ruined by soulless, evil people who purposely set out to steal people's money and ruin special moments.

We ordered two stalks of zen Phalaenopsis Orchid for my mother in law's 80th birthday. The original delivery date was on 23rd January 2022 and it ended up being delivered on 25 January 2022 (i. E. 2 days late). This is still not the most annoying part of the purchase. They subsequently informed us via an automated email that the orchids were not available and as we are living overseas, they called my mother-in-law instead and told her that they can do an upgrade for her.

Believing what they said, she agreed to an upgrade and received the flowers today. She sent a photo of the flowers and we were shocked. She received a bunch of assorted roses instead. Roses cost a lot less than orchids in the US and the replacement was definitely not an upgrade. Checking on Avas Flowers' own website revealed that the bunch only cost half the price of the original purchase. This is a scam so please avoid purchasing anything from this florist. Businesses should be honest! We should only support the truly deserving and honest companies/businesses.

Avoid Avas Flowers!

POOR! Not a flower shop. Do not use

Promised same day delivery. They are a scam. Should have looked up the reviews first. They charge an exuberant service fee which I was unaware of until I received my bill. Flowers are horrible. Looks like they came from a 7/11 or grocery store! They're a scam!

Simply awful

Online predator. I thought I was getting a local florist. I was not. I asked for a picture of my bouquet, which a local florist will do. Phone operator agreed to my request then dodged the issued as the conversation progressed. Phone operator presented as a florist herself (I will do this, I will do that), when she is an order taker only. I should have been more savvy to all that. Delivery became complicated and there is NO HUMAN TO SPEAK WITH WHO WILL HELP YOU. Buyer beware.

If i could give them a 0 i would. Absolute scammers. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Apparently they have changed names to Terrys flowers. BEWARE. My flowers got to my family member 3 days late and they were dead. In the process of trying to get a refund. Good luck to me.

Poor Service

I was very disappointed with the service, I ordered flowers for my sister to surprise her on her birthday. But the delivery guy phoned and ruined the surprise because they couldn't locate the address. I double check my invoice because I am sure I gave them the correct one, only to find out they have a different address? And the flowers were not even worth the amount you paid for.

Salesperson, after a very lengthy process finally told me the price of flowers and delivery. I later learned that I payed twice the amount for flowers and delivery. Who got the other half? The company that AVAS contracts with to manage this transaction. Shame on you AVAS!
