I was on line waiting to be called. When a man ask Luis from store (1234 #) Autozone in Spanish can you please help me I don't speak English Well Luis answer the poor confused man I don't speak Spanish. I commented that was wrong because this employee Luis looked real Spanish. Well Luis answer we are in America and here we only speak English. This is what we call in America racist. This employee (Luis) said to me and my mechanic that he was not going to sell us what we needed because we said that he was wrong. Can you believe it.?

I recently bought a battery from your store #0107, Cleveland, Tn, Keith Street. Joshua was very knowledgeable and helpful. He did the installation quickly, yet carried on amiable conversation the whole time. He is obviously very qualified as a mechanic and as a people person. Two thumbs up. Have a blessed day.

Above and beyond

I had a rear tail light that needed to be replaced. I attempted without success to do it myself. I went to the AutoZone on New Britain Ave in West Hartford Conn. I was assisted by Raj. He was courteous and patient. He not only picked out the replacement but installed it. This young man exhibited excellent customer skills and is an asset to the AutoZone community.

BATTERY INSTALLED BACKWARDS
September 16, 2021

On August 05,2021, I stopped in the Autozone in my Pearl, MS and had my battery checked. I was told it was bad, so i purchased a new one. The lady at the counter asked me if I would like them to install it. I said please. The young man came outside and installed my batter. My car immediately started acting crazy, the horn was blowing and the wipers going on and the key was in my hand. FREAKED ME OUT. The young man unhooked the battery and it stopped. He hooked it up again, and it started doing the same thing. I got my phone and googled how to install the battery and realized that he had it hooked up backwards! He switched it around and the car crunk up. I drove 3.2 miles to my house. I got up the next morning and went to work 9.1 miles. My air conditioner quit blowing and the battery light came on. I took my car back to Autozone and told them what my car was doing, they said it had to be my alternator. They checked it and yep! It was the alternator. I got a mechanic to check my car out and he said yes the alternator was bad. I paid $500 for a new one and labor. MY CAR WAS STILL DOING THE SAME THING. $831.00 in total to find out that when the battery was installed BACKWARDS it blew the main fuse in my car, causing the DIODES to fail which resulted in damage to my alternator. Autozone paid me $331.00 of the $831.00 that it cost me to fix my car. That may not be a lot of money to some, but to me it was. They are telling me now that they will not give me the additional $500.00 This is not right, I was not at fault for this. I was WITHOUT my car for 11 days because of this issue. I have given them over a month to make it right and they still have not! I am lucky that it didnt cause more damage than it did, but Autozone needs to do the right thing!

Splendor at AUTOZONE
September 3, 2021

I was so impressed with Jim O at the AUTOZONE on Skyline Boulevard in Cape Coral, FL. He was so receptive, engaging and knowledgeable. What a charming man. He belongs in the retail/ service industry. One doesn't find this kind of enthusiastic service and attention or work ethic these days. Thank you JIM. I will return again and again. My best wishes to you. Chris C.

Restocking fee
August 13, 2021

Was able to take back front rotors for my truck. But low and behold there was a $45 difference between what I paid and what I got back. Nowhere in the store did they say there was a 15% restocking fee and the receipt didn't even reflect that. I can go to Walmart or any other retail unit and bring things back and they don't charge or restocking fee AutoZone or just crooks. Will only go there is a last resort. Ji

Service
August 11, 2021

Joey at the AutoZone on highway 50 in Pueblo Colorado was one of the best service techs I've dealt with in a long time. He met every need in question that I had to hand him and was one of the nicest kind of service techs I've dealt with in a long time. I highly recommend this AutoZone and Joey has a service tech to anyone out there

I came in the store on Norwalk blvd in Hawaiian Gardens to buy polishing compound. I found the compound I wanted went to the register to pay only to find nobody there to take my cash. There was a lady at the register that said she was helping someone else while 3 other agents were standing around bull$#*!ting. The lady at the register was standing at the cash box helping a woman that didn't even know what she wanted. The 3 agents in the store should've been helping her while the employee at the register took my payment. Your crew completely failed as far as I'm concerned. This happened at 2PM 8/02/21. This time stamp should help know which employees were on the clock doing nothing. Very unsatisfied.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and horrible customer service

Went to Auto zone to get new wiper blades, store was empty, there were 2 employees up front by registers. I stood there for 5 minutes, not one person acknowledged that I was there, not even a "I'll be right with you". Finally one asked what I needed. I asked if they could help me find some wipers and what they would recommend. Well he pointed to where they were, said they only 2 types to pick from and when I looked online what was at store it showed 17 different ones that would fit my car and he said that's all he can do.

So I asked if there was someone to put them on for me, to make sure they were on correct, I had no clue how to do it. He said there was. So I picked out the blades, went to pay, 65 bucks, unbelievable! No warranty either. Paid and stepped aside waited and waited, finally asked again if there was anyone to help, same unfriendly guy said it will be a minute, and started to help another person who had issues that seemed like would take forever to resolve.

Finally another employee came up front and said he can put them on. Informed me that it was his first time putting them on. Drove home, parked car in garage. Next day at 5:30 am when I left the house for work, snow falling, freezing cold, I pulled out of driveway and turned wipers on, one of them went flying off, had to stop in street, in the dark, standing out in the cold while it was snowing trying to figure out how to put my own wipers on, so I can see on the way to work, since apparently the person at the Auto zone had no clue. Well I had no idea so went home found a ride to work late. Glad I was not on the highway otherwise there would of went my 65 bucks flying down the highway.

Anyways went back to Autozone on another day, told them that they were put on incorrect. The same Rude guy told me that there was no way they were put on wrong and accused me of it. Once again I asked that it be replaced, since it was damaged falling off due to the person not putting it on right. He argued and blamed it on me, told him my last set of wipers lasted over 5 years, he told me I was a liar and that they never last that long, so apparently theirs are junk. Finally he agreed to change it out. When I got home called the regional office, asked if I can submit a complaint, the lady ask what happened, said she would have another person call me to get the details gave me the name of Craig, well he never called, apparently its the whole operation that don't give a crap about their customers. Not happy, next time will be going to O'Rileys or Firestone, Midas, all of them seem much more helpful.

February 15, 2021

Sat on hold 45 mins. Finally hitched a ride down to the store and the manager was a total jerk that certainly hated his job. I went to oreillys after that. Great service. I will never step foot in a autozone again.

Had a battery that was dying. Went to AutoZone at 1072 Dam Neck Rd in Virginia Beach, VA. Matt came out in the rain, checked the battery and jumped it. Said it was good and didn't try to sell us. Jumped us again later. We bought more stuff because he was awesome! Thanks Matt!

Saturday night at 7:30 at night me and a friend went in to get some lights and some other objects for the vehicle we was accused of stealing and my friend walked out and got on their phone and then the employee comes up and cussed me out of the store he told me to empty my pockets and then some as I was in the process of doing it he told me no get out of the F*****Store so I went back two days later and talked to the main manager and she basically told me that I was a liar and she accused me for stealing if I was stealing wouldn't the scan machines go off neither one of them went off,
The store is located in Elkton Virginia ******* the main manager and the assistant manager and the one employee accused me and my friend of student and claims that they saw us putting lights infuses in our pockets that's basically a lie if the owner could contact me back that would be most appreciated because of what happened on Saturday night was on call for it from the employees I can tell you the names I'm not too sure what the main managers name is but the assistant manager in the employee that cussed me out

Unacceptable!
January 17, 2021

AutoZone 0875 that's at ******* S Parker rd in Parker CO charged my husband twice for the same item, it took us 4 phone calls, 2 actual trips to the store and 10 days and we still haven't received our money back. Last time my husband stopped by they talked to him like he was a scammer because he suggested if they have a problem putting this money back to the credit card why don't just pay him cash.
No more AutoZone for me, you guys killed it for $12.99.

Bad Customer Service EVER
January 3, 2021

The worst customer service in San Diego. Poor thing about this franchise that doesn't inspect its employees. Simply, even though I am within all the requirements for returning some items I bought less than 2 weeks ago, with proof within my Rewards and the debit in my bank account, they refused to return the items or even give me in credit. Rude clerk!
I don't even recommend it to enemies. Even Walmart is much better. Worth the effort.
We have more better ones:
- O'Reilly Auto Parts
- Advance Auto Parts
- Pep Boys
- Walmart
21st century where companies are struggling with their nails to win new customers and retain the ones they already have, franchises do not know what clerks without training and knowledge are doing. The last one to leave, turn off the light in this store in Point Loma.

Went in looking for a windshield viper refill. I saw them on line but I thought that I try a local store. A woman associate informed me with a cocky attitude that they don't make those anymore and nobody sells them. I just replied that they are all over the internet, thanked her and started walking out. As I am leaving - although she already had another customer waiting front of her -, she yells (yes, yells!) after me: "good luck finding those", "you will never get them", with a sarcastic voice. I said thanks again and as I am walking out the door, she is still screaming after me: "you won't find those everywhere, no one has them"! I couldn't believe my ears. Unbelievably poor customer service, so rude, I couldn't believe it. She had to be "mrs, knows it all". Anyway, 10 min later I ordered the refills online.
Needless to say that they have lost my business for life over big mouth, rude employee, over practically nothing. I'll never be going back. How she got the job in the first place in customer service field, with no people skills and with this attitude, I have no idea. I will take my business elsewhere, they won't see a dime from me in this lifetime! Hopefully they will go out of business soon...

Web site
December 12, 2020

Auto zone has the worst web site of all time. There is no way in hell they can really have a problem or maintenance scheduled. On 12-11-20@ store # 4675 ******* iron bridge road Chester va, about 8:10 pm the young man working was too fast on the computer, didn't ask me if i wanted to use my $ 20 reward. OTHER PROBLEMS I AM NOT SAYING. I will said this every worker and managers think they know it all. But I got a reward point this time. The last time at this location I got no point. I need to return parts, but I can't find my receipt nor is it on my purchase history. But I got a message to give one of the parts a review. SO WHAT IS THERE PROBLEM. Auto zone on brook road in Glen Allen VA. No problems. Auto zones warranty is why I go back.
