Cant keep staff, only concerned about new customers, once they have your money, your just a number. Staff is constantly rotating. They are just a horrible place and never get tour issues corrected. This is the worst decision of my life using aspen dental
I was a patient of Aspen Dental at 1070 West Mercury Blvd since 2018. The 3rd of July I had a crown break in half. They did an x-ray and then put me in a room and sent in what was supposed to be a dentist. I could tell by her answers that that either she was not a dentist or did not have the experience to do dental work. Then they did an impression for a new crown and temporary.
They led me out of the exam room to get scheduled for a temporary. The scheduler said that I would have to wait until the end of August. I asked why. She indicated that they will not have anyone that could do it until then and it would be about 1800 dollars. I thought that was overpriced considering that the tooth did not require grinding off for prep. Also I was right. There is no Dentist at that location. Is it even legal to operate a dental clinic without a dentist on staff? They would not bill me or give me a recept stating that it was my first visit and first visits are free. They told me thst after declining the service. I knew this was strange because I had been a patient there since 2018. I resolved my situation by going to another dental provider.
Based on my cardiology requirements for valve surgery, I was sent for deep cleaning. The dentist determined by X-ray that the procedure cost $1275.He did not examine my mouth as it was deemed unnecessary. I paid half of the cost and the rest later. I called another dentist and made an appointment. He did the job with $250 and signed the form that the cardiology requested. For about a month, I am trying to get my payment that was given to aspen dental. I spent a lot of time by now and still, they did not put my payment to my credit card. What a sloppy company! If you don't mind paying more than you should pay for service then Aspen Dental is your place.
Emergency number took all weekend to get through and now no Emergency on call dr is getting back with me in alot of pain and not sure if it is infected not having a good experience with them at this point
Worst experience at this business. Requested X-rays due to a pending appointment at different dentist, and it was requested by the provider —came in to fill out the patient release form and was told seven days- ten business days by the receptionist with the Afro-ponytail, no explanation or reasoning. I'm not a rocket scientist but I knew for a fact that didn't sound like customary practice, so I asked for the corporate information, she stated" she didn't have the information". Mind you she works there, when her check is funny who does she call for assistance!? Called corporate and they transferred me back to her. She stated, I can take photos of the slides from a computer. I also, asked would it be possible to take them from a computer in the front, she said "yes", I hang up and arrived there totally different story and the reasoning was patient privacy, which is fine but as we head back she utters something to her employee roles her eyes and proceeds to laugh loudly with her coworker, so people who were either coming in or out knew they were referring to me. She's lucky I'm
Not a confrontational person —cause anyone else would have given her a physical, verbal; horizontal workout. Some folks won't allow to carry on for too long before it either gets verbal or even worse. I have too much to lose than argue w/a receptionist about a service I paid for. But I'm glad I won't be coming back. A simple communication would have solved this whole ordeal I had to read the Cybersecurity issue, while I was leaning on the counter waiting to take photos of my X-rays from my phone. Strange world we live but even worse, when people would rather find a reason to label difficult than just communicating the issue.
I just had teeth cleaning recently in Bloomington office. My hygienist Rosie was amazing very sweet and professional. She did a great job cleaning my teeth. I love having Rosie as my hygienist she brightens my day!
Overchargeed for cleaning and free xrays done same day $294.00. I do not have insurance. Dentist did not do oral exam, just looked at exrays, Periodontal cleaning done with ultrasonic cleaner. Scaling was only done to lower anterior teeth, while I have pockets in the posterior,I have gotten periodontal cleaning every 3months for 15years. And never aid that much for a cleaning.$294.00
Went to aspen in mount Pocono pa on an emergency. In terrible pain.permanent bridge on bottom left broke and when I tried to eat on right side something happened there and I was in excruciating pain. They did nothing for me but build a 5000 treatment plan. I am 73 with chronic kidney disease and will not live more than five or six years. Begged them to work with me to give me the quickest and most inexpensive result. They are all about the upsell. No heart no compassion no help. There are other practices out there that will help you. You need to look. I waited through the pain and not being able to eat to see another dental clinic an hour away. Screw aspin stay away from this practice
Went to Aspen Dental because of a tooth pain knowing that it will have to be pulled. I told them which tooth was hurting me prior to the X-ray and then the dr came in to show me the x-ray. Also told the dr which tooth was hurting and scheduled the extraction the following day. When they pulled the tooth it hurt so bad that they assistant had to hold my arms down. That evening I took out the gauze and to my surprise they did not pull the tooth that I was complaining about. I called to complain about them pulling the wrong tooth and all they said was that I signed off on the tooth that was pulled. Since I was still in pain I scheduled the following day to have the correct tooth pulled. After they pulled it they did not prescribe any medication for the pain or infection that the tooth caused. After three days my mouth was still in pain and infected so I looked in my mouth to find something was still in the hole from the wrong tooth they pulled. I called back and told them that there was part of a f@*king tooth that was still in there. The dr got on the phone and told me there was not part of a tooth and that it could be a bone fragment. I assume that when they pulled the wrong tooth part or my jaw broke and that is what's sticking out hurting me. The dr said that since I accused them of pulling the wrong tooth and that I said the work f@*k to the receptionist that they will no longer treat me and that they are parting ways. This location and doctor, which by the way she said she was part owner, is very unprofessional and does not care about you as a patient. The only thing that they are after is your money. If you decide to go to Aspen Dental stay away from the one located on Lemay Ferry Rd. That will just cause you pain and take your money!
The dentist did a great job pulling, but temporary dentures are horrible. When you tell someone you have a small mouth they should listen. Impression plate was to big but tech said it may work, guess what it didn't, I have been miserable for 5 months trying to wear them. Will find another dental company to do bottom teeth.
I have a dental emergency. I called the Walpole Massachusetts location. I asked him do you take mass health and Medicare. They didn't give me an answer yes or no. When you normally call other Dentist and ask them about insurance. They will answer over the phone yes or no. Aspen dental wants you to go into the store. Get all the x-rays exam everything. After the consultation then that's when they discuss insurance. If they don't take your insurance, then you have to be set up on a payment plan. How is that convenient? That's a wasted trip there when you could answer that over the phone. Why should I be set up on a payment plan when I have insurance and insurance does cover the dental work.
The X-Ray tech did NOT put a collar around my neck to protect me from X-Rays (the rays never leave your body. X-Ray equipment looked old; They wanted to take more than 4 X-Rays —wanted SEVERAL more. It's a fact that overuse of dental X-Rays cause thyroid & brain cancer. Also, I was there at 8:30 am & even though they open at 8 am THE DOOR was locked. I had to wait outside. And they have 5 pages of paper work that I never had to fill out at my previous dentist's office. The equipment is old. The XRay rooms are shabby looking. Would not recommend. I hope that I don't get thyroid or brain cancer from all those old X-Ray machines.
0n 6/23/23 I called Huber Heights aspen said I had a tooth ache they set me up 6/26 at7a no app.untill 7/17 with a tooth ache. No way
Appointment one... showed up to locked doors, called when i got home to be put on hold and receive a call back telling me they need to reschedule. 3 weeks later finally got all teeth pulled. Dr did a good job with that bit the denture fits like hores teeth. Follow up ok, told the new denture will be there by next appointment. Next appointment comes, show up to them telling me it isnt there and they teied to call to reschedule, which I doubt. So here I am, no teeth and dont think theyll fit when they get here. No consideration for clients time
ASPEN DENTAL COOKEVILLE, TN. HAD A TOOTH REMOVED AND THE DENTIST THAT DID THE WORK WAS GREAT. I HAD DENTAL INSURANCE THAT WOULD PAY 100% BUT ASPEN DENTAL ASKED FOR ME TO PAY FIRST. ASPEN DENTAL RECEIVED FULL PAYMENT FOR THE WORK DONE BUT WILL NOT RETURN THE MONEY TO ME THAT I PAID. SO IT LOOKS LIKE ASPEN DENTAL GETS PAID TWO TIMES FOR WORK ONLY DONE ONCE. AT THE TIME I HAD THIS WORK DONE ANOTHER MAN TOLD ME HE ALSO PAID AND HIS INSURANCE PAID ALSO. I GUESS THIS IS THW WAY ASPEN DENTAL WORKS!
But all is received wa san overpriced-sales pitch, no help, no treatment but an attempt to extract $11,000 from my wallet. The Dentist never introduced himself, just talked to his sales person behind me, and then I got the sales pitch, no treatment! Aren't dentist supposed to repair teeth? Never again.
No matter what time a day you call either one of their offices, I've not been able to get a live receptionist. After leaving multiple messages I've not received a return call on that given day, it usually take 1 or 3 days to get a call back if at all. If you have a balance due, they will not allow you to schedule a future appointment. I would never refer anyone to Aspen Dental, and the looks of their ratings others have similar issues. :(
They need to be report to the better business bureaus.
Adam Belmadani DMD plattsburgh ny clinic. There was no personal consult. He made his own treatment plan and botched oral surgery leaving injury, pain and suffering almost a year later. No culpability. End Result: going into litigation.
Recommend unnecessary service, charges you ahead of doing the work and if you cancel good luck getting your money back, basically thieves and dangerous to your health
I was traveling. Broke off about 1/4 of the back top of a bottom front tooth. No pain but was afraid if I didn't get it strengthened the front might break before I got home to my own dentist,
I called and explained the situation. Made an appointment for that afternoon at an office about 1.5 hours away. I was in a remote location.
I was 2 minutes away from their office and received a call welcoming me and informing me that my appointment would be 2 hours long. When I objected, they explained it was their policy. I'd have paperwork to fill out, x-rays and a hygienist before anything could be done. I had not been told this in my earlier call.
I decided to go in and try to persuade them this was not necessary as I'd been to my own dentist less than a month before. Upon entering, there was a man at the desk complaining he'd been charged for work on 4 teeth and he claimed it was only 2 teeth. They were disagreeing with him. I explained again my situation and that I'd just driven 1.5 hours to get my tooth fixed. (I'd had this happen before to another tooth and know it's about a 20 minute fix). They argued with me and refused to budge as it was their "policy" to put me through the rigors. As I was discussing all this another lady approached the counter, and complained she just had a rough spot on a tooth that needed a bit of filing. She, also, did not want x-rays, a hygienist, etc. Again they would not budge. Both the lady and myself wound up walking out.
They also had informed me on the phone (upon finding out I had no Dental Insurance) that the "good news" was that the initial office visit was only $19. I didn't really care just wanted my tooth fixed but after my visit I wondered what the final cost would have been after the x-ray, hygienist and repair had been done.
Answer: The dentist seem to be legit. The billing structure & pricing our very much a rip off
Answer: $250.00 per tooth competitor is $ 99.00 the range is dependent on difficulty of work being done
Answer: Very lengthy wait. Expect to be hung up on.From the local office to the helpline and up to corporate they are difficult to reach and rude to deal with.
Answer: When I was a full time RVer, Aspen seemed to make good sense.
