This is the worst place you can imagine. Of course, everyone will smile for you once you're there. But all they are after is money. It is really ugly when dental service is all they care about is your money rather than your health. They tried to force me to do some unnecessary procedure that would cost $1,800. They even said they would not offer any treatment unless they did this unnecessary procedure. I said I will have to go to another provider and started to walk out of the door and then when they realized they would lose a CUSTOMER they said ok. I had a crown there and sadly it fell off the next day in my sleep. I was luck I didn't swallow it. I went there and asked for a fix or a refund and they REFUSED. I had to write their regional manager to approve a refund. Then after a couple of months, I checked my account and they fund was not there. Six months later and more than 30 emails I finally got my refund. I hate this place and advise you never to go there.
Billing changes Went back for a check up raise the price unprofessional people hard to work with scheduling fillings fall out in a permanent crown fell out terrible
I went in for an exam and xrays. I have no pain, just needed a checkup. The tech cut both corners of my mouth with the gadget for xrays. Then the dr tried telling me I need braces... I'm 61 years old! By the time I was finished they wanted to do over $1000 of unnecessary work! So disappointed
It was a horrible mistake going there` i was very ill and was down to 80lb` and Im a old lady` i am now being sued! I down to paying them off for services i do not have and dont want` now its down to paying these awful people or be homeless
After losing my dental insurance, I went here to get the $79 cleaning they offer new customers. I am utterly shocked at the experience. They told me that 6 teeth measured a 4 in gum loss (needing deep cleaning), and I had a cavity in a wisdom tooth. They then refused to do the $79 cleaning and presented with an estimate just under $1000. I also found it very odd that the dentist asked me if I wanted to keep my wisdom teeth, which have no fillings or flaws and have caused no problems ever (I'm 65). Why would any patient want to have perfectly good teeth removed? It all seemed sketchy to me so I walked out. I ended up going back to my regular dentist, who told me only 1 tooth had gum loss measuring a 4 (and all others either 1 or 2, not even close to 4), and no cavity in my wisdom tooth. I took the Aspen dental report to my hygienist to identify the suspect tooth and she said "that tooth is solid as a rock, no decay whatsoever". Aspen simply lied. If I had agreed to the work there, I have to assume they would have gone ahead and drilled a perfectly good tooth. After I walked out of there I just sat in my car for several minutes, stunned. I described the visit later to friends as traumatizing. At my regular dentist I paid $203 cash for a good cleaning and the truth. I think Aspen should be reported to an authority for fraud.
Avoid. The negative reviews are true. Those poor patients...
Bad equipment, corporate environment, patients presented with one cost then billed another. Seeing all of this from the inside was extremely disheartening. The regional manager was there for his bonus. Avoid corporate dental institutions at all costs!

I paid up front for services at Aspen dental of Stuart was disappointed from the first fit still months later dentist refuses and o do adjustments that was included in price. This office is a nightmare and absolutely does not guarantee there work. Save your money and the headache and go with a dentist that stands by their word.
I have had nothing but problems, I bit my cheeks several times due to poor fittings, I had several adjustments, still same problems. I go through a tube of fixodent weekly, I have black and blue cheeks and mouth sores from day one, I also have a huge bump in my mouth feels like a bone that still hasn't healed. I can't bite into things, without biting my tongue or the insides of my mouth, I literally have to break everything I eat into tiny pieces, then place them in my mouth. I cry. I'm so disappointed and when I return to say that I still have issues they treat me poorly, I paid cash because I didn't want to go months without smiling. And instead I'm crying! Over four grand awful. I had four teeth pulled, and then upper and lower denture. I still don't have permanent bottom one, and look what I deal with in photos,
The office manager over charged me by $858.20 and will not refund my money, even after my insurance company, Cigna, told them they over charged me and owed me the money, when aspen or any medical care giver accepts insurance it is a contract to charge what is agreed upon with the insurance company, I feel sorry for people without insurance, they charge whatever they want, and then have no recourse, still hoping Cigna can help me get my money back, I payed up front because I have an HSA, big mistake.
I noticed that people usually only post negative dental reviews. It's then difficult to know the percentage of good experiences. The staff is very nice. There are several locations. However, the prices are ridiculous and they try to convince you that you need more than you do. Some might believe them instead of getting a second opinion. No one should be pressured out of worry. My part of the cost minus insurance even for a regular cleaning was quoted as more than my previous dentist was to charge me out of pocket total while I was in between insurances due to Covid. They also wanted to add things I don't believe I needed which would have been at least.$1,000 my part with insurance covering the rest. Things my regular dentist didn't say I needed. Aspen Dental offers gimmicks to bring in even the uninsured. I doubt they could afford this place. Go elsewhere no matter how heavily insured you are. I expected chain stores to be less costly due to volume but that isn't the case with this company. This place is up to date with televisions in the exam rooms and patient info on tablets. They should use old school offices and pass the savings onto the consumer. We can enjoy our electronics at home.
Not a fan at all. Went to the independence MO location and had Dr. Yang as dentist. Was continuing trying to sell me their aligners even after telling me they wouldn't fix my underbite, which was the issue. Told me a filling on my front tooth would be pointless since it'll chip off instantly (because my misaligned bite) yet scheduled me for a filling anyway. Never talked to me about what he thinks, he looked, told the assistant and left. Only thing I knew was when I went to pay and saw what they listed. Getting a second opinion is the best I could of done. Won't be coming back
Went to Aspen on 10-14-21 for a chipped tooth. Was told I needed some extra work. They said they contacted my insurance for approval of the work I needed. The insurance never gave them approval. I financed over $820.00 insurance paid them three months later they send me another bill wanting another $858.00 or they are turning me into collections. I don't think I should be penalized for incompetence in the accounting/billing department. And not only that they tried to bill the insurance company for procedures that they don't even cover at all.
When I call the office to talk about the bill the people in charge of that are out to lunch, gone for the day, or never came in. Or better yet just don't return phone calls. Then I go to the office and I get the runaround or got the office secretary looking at me completely lost and don't have a clue on what to do or say.
Can't trust this company they are faking there way in business. Lies, lack of camumication. No return phone calls. Will leave you hanging and say you turned down there service. Bad, bad company! BAB
Way Over charged, if you are not careful they'll rip you off unprofessional people. Will not listen, refuse to explain the bill. They even don't deserve one start. Stay way from these butchers.
I went to Aspen Dental for first time for consultation & xrays & made an appointment for a deep gum cleaning 2 days later which they said it would cost $445.00 which was ok but few days later they billed me another $665.00 for some made up reason that made no sense what so ever which was there way of billing me for that first visit & now i have a bill of over $1110. 00 to pay them. I will never go back there again caz can't trust them
Went to Aspen Dental in Anderson SC for a toothache and replacement dentures and was told that I had to have a tooth extraction. It was the right bottom back tooth. Wisdom? I agreed and had it extracted. It didn't bleed which I thought was a little strange. I've had a lot of teeth pulled and that has never happened. When I got home my lip was swollen and bruised…I had paid close attention to not bite it! That night after the Novocain wore off it felt like I still had the toothache so I called and was common and told to take Advil as well as Tylenol. Did that but in the morning it was still throbbing so I went down there and they were at a meeting so we're closed for the day! I explained my problem and was told to call in the morning. WHAT?! Well, that was it. Not going back there. I got a call a couple of days later asking if I wanted the Dr to take a look at it. Reluctantly I went back because it was still throbbing. The Dr said it was a dry socket and packed it. That didn't help, it still hurt after Novocain wore off. It's been 3-4 weeks and I'm still having discomfort from it. I did some research and found that if a tooth doesn't bleed when pulled that it most likely is a dry socket. I fell that he should've known that was a big possibility. They tried to blame the swollen, bruised lip and the dry socket on something that I had done.
This is not the same place pre pandemic was. Everything is changed, including the staff.
They suck. I went in and learned how to wait patiently. I finally got into a examination room and got a half $#*! cleaning on my upper teeth handed a bag of $#*!, and got scheduled to clean my lower teeth. Then I get a bill from Care credit saying I owe$ 5500. 00. They did drop it down to $3500. 00. You get a scamming company, that is hooked up with a company that is one step above, or one step below a loan shark. Go to the local dentist! Screw Aspen Dental, before they screw you!
The dentist at this location are extremely incompetent. Repeated visits for infections, stitches coming out 3 hours later, and the list goes on. Must have gotten their diplomas in a cracker jack box. Would recommend avoiding this place. Went to a real dentist, and issues were resolved the same day.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! ASPEN DENTAL IS THE MCDONALD'S OF DENTISTRY I STARTED IN APRIL OF 2021 WE'RE JUST A WEEK SHORT OF ONE YEAR AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A FINISHED PRODUCT. THE WHOLE OFFICE IS INCOMPETENT, THE REGIONAL MANAGER MATT IS VERY INCOMPETENT AND CHILDISH AND JOSH TRACY THE SALES DIRECTOR HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL. AT THIS POINT I'M TALKING WITH ATTORNEYS, OREGON BOARD OF DENTISTRY AND I'VE CONTACTED AND FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF OREGON. YOU CANNOT NEGOTIATE WITH ASPEN THEY WILL SCREW YOU ANY WAY THEY CAN! THEY HAVE SINCE TERMINATED ME AS A PATIENT BECAUSE THEY CANNOT CREATE A PRODUCT THAT FITS MY MOUTH. THIS IS WHERE THEY'RE INCOMPETENCE LIES I'VE NEVER SEEN THE SAME DOCTOR TWICE BECAUSE THEY'RE FLYING IN DOCTORS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY TO FILL TEMPORARY POSITIONS. THEY ARE TRYING TO STAY AFLOAT. I PRAY AND HOPE AND CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE ASPEN DENTAL OFFICE DOORS ARE CLOSED PERMANENTLY IN ROSEBURG OREGON. MY BEST ADVICE TO ANYONE IS DON'T GO, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, DON'T WASTE YOUR ENERGY BECAUSE YOU WILL BE 100% DISAPPOINTED. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
I set an appt for Aspen Dental, BUT before I did, I made sure through their website, that my insurance was accepted there. I went into their location filled out the paperwork and gave them all of my personal information. One day before the appt, they call me to confirm and even asked me if I could arrive earlier. The next morning at 9 am when I arrived, I was informed that they no longer accept my insurance (DHMO). They admitted that even though it was listed on their own website, it is there in error. I wasn't even offered an apology for the severe waste of my time; it was kind of like "OH WELL". Also, if you look at the reviews on their site, you will notice that it's all 5 stars, mixed in with a few 4 stars, however, when you come to Yelp's site you find the real truth regarding the way the public feels about this clown car so-called business. Don't waste your time with this business especially the location in Florissant, Mo. On North Lindbergh.
