Ashley Madison Reviews Summary

The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.

Complete waste of time. Half the profiles are bull$#*!... yea all the good looking people. I sent out a tester of 40 emails to all the best looking girls on the site and only 2 of the profiles ever OPENED the email. The site is a complete scam unless you want overweight 50 year old women.

I tried this site and would agree it is very expensive. Most of the women never even replied to emails and some were even right out abusive. Like any other site, the men to women ratio is like 1000:1 and unless you look like Brad Pitt or the wallet Donald Trump, you have no chance...

I looked into joining this site as a lot of favorable feedback about it. This maybe a true site but the Cost of this site is a total turn off so went no further. Not only do you have to pay for membership but you have to pay a lot of hard earned money for Credits to hold conversations with the users of this site. There are other sites out there a darn sight cheaper and better. This site is only for Professionals with money to burn and most of those are Obnoxious ( I am such a catch attitude) that I suggest you avoid unless of course you are a rich Stockbroker or Banker.

I'm a female and signed up for this site out of curiousity. I immediately received about ten e-mails! I was shocked. I am single and was tempted, but then thought about it -- I think cheating is wrong and I have no wish to be "the other woman," nor do I want to break up anyone's marriage. I told them that I no longer wished to receive e-mails and to delete my information, but I am STILL getting e-mails from them.

I've used the site for almost two years and have met several nice women who were there for the same purpose as me... an affair. The tough part, if you are male, is there appears to be 10 times as many men as women vying for one another's affections. The only effective way I found to communicate was via chat. Intra site emailing is useless as I have been told by some women on the site they receive 50-60 emails or more a day. Chatting, however, costs "credits" and they're expensive. Minimum buy is $79 for 200 credits. 30 minutes of chat is 30 credits or $0.40 a minute! What I usually did was once the conversation was amicable, I'd suggest moving to Yahoo or Google IM and end the paid session there. Still, it wasn't easy. Again, the ratio is heavily tilted to men.

Ashley Madison will charge you credit card without authorization and then refuse to refund the amount of the fraudulent charge. They will share your data and contents of private messages as a means of intimidation

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. They ask you to buy credits to do things which is fine BUT then they flood you with bogus email to try and get you to use these credits. AVOID at all cost.

Here's my experience using AshleyMadison.com: I can't say if it's a scam or not, with the employee-posted profiles you find on sites like xxxmatch.com, but here's what I've found after using the site for a couple months:

--They have HUGE turnover on the site, at least for women. I've noted many New members I've added to my Favorites who then don't return to the site ever.
--I've gotten only a 50% rate of Priority mails being confirmed Opened. That means half the mail I sent was never even opened, according to the site itself. No replies to any of the ones opened, but maybe my pitch was off!
--I've communicated with a few women on the site after getting a nudge from them (added to their Favorites), but no successful hook-up yet. Profiles with pictures get the best response.
--The women I've talked to (and a couple honest profiles I saw) indicate that women on the site get a LOT of email from men. I've heard rumors of successful hook-ups, and some of the reviews seem to indicate as much as well, but it hasn't happened for me yet!
--I honestly listed my age at 47 and numbers indicate a more common cut-off for women searching for an affair is 45. (I don't mind, I look 40.)

Overall I'd say if you're gonna try the site go for their Money-Back deal. It's the most expensive membership, but if you follow the rules of the deal (you have to send like 18 emails in two weeks or something like that), the numbers should work against the company. A lot of the emails you send will never even be opened. Just keep track of it.

I cannot vouch for the company giving the refunds they claim to, this is just my experience with the site. Had a couple fish on the line but nothing landed yet! Questionable ROI.
