I have used third-party travel agents before, Expedia for one who sold me a bogus ticket during the pandemic, and blamed everyone and everything else instead of accepting their own responsibility. Be aware of the bogus claims of some of the bigger travel agencies..

While after seeing a very low price online for a trip to the Philippines. Called and the trip had exceptions that no one could meet. However, they continued trying to find a reasonable flight with my dates and couldn't find one. Later, they called me (30 minutes) and they had found my flight with my requirements.
