I was charged $75 at departure to check a bag that was supposed to be included in the fare I paid. When I finally was able to get hold of the right person (Aphelios) I received an email that had nothing to do with my problem. I emailed him a copy of my receipt for the bag and my itinerary showing the bag was included. He responded with questions that I have repeatedly tried to reply to by email but my email will not send which leads me to believe that I may be a Blocked Sender. I have made multiple calls to Customer Service "Escalation" which they say have been recorded) and wind up being disconnected every time after a very lengthy hold.
I still can't believe how asap tickets can get away with this, they sold me a ticket and also make me buy a protection plan and then they refuse to honour it. They agreed to give to reschedule the flight and then they delayed responding and they made so many excuses until they said I have to now pay the difference. And I had no choice but to agree with that, but when they send the flight information and the difference I had to pay it was not a difference it was the actual price of a ticket that I would pay even if I bought it from a different company.

TERRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL Travel Agency!
My family and I booked off the entire month of July to go on a summer trip from Canada to Philippines. We ran into an issue at the Ottawa airport where we apparently required a Visa for an overnight layover at Japan, but our Travel agent (Noah) did NOT inform us about this detail so we were not prepared and did not have a Japan Visa to present. When we contacted the travel agency about this and asked to give us new tickets without the overnight layover, they said we are "High Priority" in their list and will contact us back immediately. But, we never heard back. We called them multiple times. They transferred us to various people for hours and hours. In the end, they said we needed to pay for an entire new flight PLUS a cancellation fee which was $200 with only a $100 discount.
Overall, we had to pay DOUBLE the amount we initially did, which we could no longer afford. When we asked for our refund, they said it will take a month, two billing cycles, to process which means we can't use it to buy new tickets elsewhere for the month of July, which we already booked off. So, we ended up cancelling our entire trip.
They ruined my family's summer trip and did not provide professional help when we needed it. If I could rate lower than 1 star, I would give them a zero rating. What a disappointment.

On the first instance I was just checking for ticket prices.
During the conversation, the representative tricked me that they are the only person selling reasonable tickets. He me called multiple times, literally sitting on my back through phone call and made me to pay the money for reserving my tickets. After paying the money, he took his own sweat time to e-mail me the ticket numbers.
A day after, I found that I have paid them heavily for the tickets. In addition I also paid for the travel protection. The airline website showed much lesser price than the price I paid them. So I was asking what was that difference, he told me that he will check to it and never got back.
Only after reserving the tickets, I found that it became very hard to get US VISA. I told the representative about my situation and want to cancel the tickets. He suggested re-scheduling rather than cancel the tickets. After getting the VISA appointment, I contacted him to re-schedule the tickets.
I called them multiple times to reschedule. What bothers me is they were literally on my back while making me pay for the tickets, but not responding with the same intensity while I want to re-schedule.
Finally one day he gave me an itinerary, but told to pay for travel protection plan again. That came up to $550 plus penalties. I don't know what is the use of the travel protection plan? That really sucks and I was asking for the reason but did not get a prompt one.
I am still calling them multiple times for re-scheduling my tickets.
I some how got the basefare for the tickets I reserved. Astonishingly, they have charged 2.5 times than the basefare ticket. I am not opposed to pay money for the travel agent to help in reserving the tickets. But the way they tricked me is really frustrating and I feel dumb. It finally ended in paying more for the tickets plus the travel protection fee.

On July 1,2022 I called ASAP tickets to book a ticket from Vancouver to Manilla as my spouse just found out his mother in the Philippines is dying. I spoke to a man by the name of Brethren D. In the call he engaged in fraudulent behaviours and he was duplicitous. He told me he could get a seat on Air China at 2am on July 2,2022. Brethren told me it would cost $3,800. I said that was too much and he said in response that he would call the airline and see if he could get a better price. He put me on hold and he then came back and he said he could get the same seat now for about $2,800. He then asked if I wanted cancellation insurance of $280. When I said "no" he said he would split the cost in half. Notably the price did not come off the insurance but on the flight cost. At this point I thought it was a go…then Brethren came back and said the ticket was no good as the flight was overbooked. He said he had cancelled it but said I was in luck because there was a passenger cancellation…. He said two other agents were vying for the seat but he said he would fight for the seat. The catch was that he told me I would have to pay more money, I think he said it would be $400 more. At the same time I went of China Air' site and saw that there were dozens of seats available on the same flight for $2280! I realized he was engaging in fraudulent behavior and trying to scam me. I said I would not book with him…he then said he had booked me on the original seat that he had said was no good! I told him he was "scamming" me and I would not be using his services…during the period after he told me the original ticket was no good I bought my own ticket…. After telling me that the original ticket was useless he charged me for it anyway even though I did not want it…. I immediately called MasterCard and I had my card cancelled and informed them the charge was fraudulent. They stopped payment.".
