If you want cheap replicas of art, then buy here. It's basically "Hotel" art. Nothing fine here, and waaaayy over priced. I ordered a few items (posters) that came rolled up in a tube, which was fine and they were what I expected, but the actual painting that I spent $350 on was ridiculous! It was not placed straight in the frame, and the quality looked cheap. I would have hung it in a dorm, rather than my living room. I will never do business with them again period.
Purchased a Palouse Evening Abstract acrylic art for $300+. Professionally hung but now two years and the acrylic is cracking. No help from Art.com... Stay away, don't buy
What I received was a joke and sending it back cost almost as much as buying the crap. I would never purchase or recommend this site to anyone.
Incredible Sales and Beautiful Art pieces. The selection is wide, and are of good quality. Nice Look
I bought 12"X16" pictures from art.com. The moment I opened the package, I didn't want it framed up on the wall. The first print is an F-14D Tomcat about to be launched off an aircraft carrier deck (item # *******). The pitot tube of the plane was cut off at the left edge of the picture, and the plane's vertical stabilizer was too near the right edge of the picture. The second picture is an aircraft carrier (item # *******), the front end of the ship was cut off at the left edge of the picture and the rear end of the ship was cut off at the right edge of the picture. A good picture includes the ENTIRE photo subject COMPLETELY within the paper's edges with generous room to spare on all four sides. Imagine a passport photo of your face but the top of your head is missing at the top edge, or your chin is cut off at the bottom edge, you get the drift. My purchase is an international order to Singapore so I didn't bother asking for replacement prints or a refund. Too much hassle. Besides, the replacement prints would come back the same as the ones I threw away.
I ordered a wooden art piece, very small and light weight. $10 shipping and it wasnt worth the item price either, but I suppose thats subjective. Shipping time was fine, but I didnt receive any notice until the day of arrival.
I wanted to order a framed print for a Christmas present. art.com had the print I was after so I proceeded to order. It was November, but at checkout the print was showing a delivery date of December 21st. A little concerned that this was close to Christmas I had a chat with one of art.com's agents regarding the delivery date and they assured me that a delivery date of the 21st would be met.
Today, December 22nd, one day after the print was due, I receive an email stating that the print 'will be delivered a bit late'. I spoke to another art.com agent today who stated the item is not in stock and has been "re-ordered". Re-ordered? What happened to the original order, and if something did happen why not notify my then rather than leave it until after the due date. This just does not add up.
Checking the website again, the print is showing as in stock with a delivery date of Jan 9th. I asked the agent if this date was accurate (twice), but was given the following brush off
"I am extremely sorry, The holiday time we are not guaranteed the date you are receive the package. "
So despite being assured I would received my order on time (it's not unreasonable to expect given it was ordered 4 weeks prior to due date), and the art.com website still showing stock they cannot tell me when I should expect delivery.
It's clear now they had no stock in the first place and list items as available/for sale on their website regardless of whether they hold stock or not.
Useless.
Purchased a canvas on sale for $224. I received my item, and 2 days later they have another sale and the same item is $174. I call them to ask for a price adjustment. They tell me they dont do that. So I tell them that I have a 30day return privilege and if I return it, I wont rebuy it. They dont care! Then I emetic customer service, same request. I get back an email saying that a supervisor will contact me. Two days go by and I still dont hear from them, so I email again. No response. Im sending back the picture, and I wont do business with them again.
Opened an account, then tried to change some details in my profile. My password allows me to log in, but when I try to get to my customer profile or manage my account, my browser says it can't open the page. Tried different browsers with the same result. Then I contacted customer support, and was eventually told that they could not get it to work either. They said that they would forward the problem to tech support and I should wait 72 business hours. They said that they would not contact me, but that I should try to get into my account after 72 hours. After this problem and reading other bad reviews, I decided to close my account and not do business with Art.com. But I can't get to my customer profile, to close my account. This is bad. I recommend you don't open an account, and stay away from this company, and it's buggy website.
I tried to order a Van Gogh art print on art.com. When I moved the wanted picture to the shopping cart, the price went up by $15.
I contacted 2 separate customer service people who could not even locate the picture after sending screenshots with the item number, title, artist and size. After 3 days of e-mailing, I cut my losses and just desired to look for something else to fit the space.
Avoid incompetence, try a different site. Avoid allposters.com, they own this one too.
I ordered artwork title " the dance"... Very fast delivery item was packaged securely... the painting was more than I expected very beautiful print bright pop out colors... I'm over the moon with my purchase.
Delivered way ahead of schedule... I was just a bit shocked at postage... but other than that is was a great buy.
I ordered a canvas of a particular size to cover up a window in my RV. I didn't want to put up curtains and the picture would of been a good look. I received the order on time and was very excited about it cause it looked really good, perfect colors that match the decor. I hung up the picture but notice that it was too short for the window. I had measured the window several times cause I knew it would be hard to find something that long. I ordered a print that was advertised at 30"/40" what I got was 30"/36" the bottom of the window showed through, so I email Art.com to return the item. I thought it would be no problem and packaged it back up and hauled it to the car while I wait for the return label. Well. Milo from the service dept wanted me to take a picture of the picture before they accept the return, I was puzzled, and wrote back that I had already repackaged and the huge package is already in my car, I was not about to open it back up to snap a picture!(and what would be the reason for that?)
I told him that it's the same picture that they send and the reason is the measurements are wrong on their website. Long story short. I refuse to take a picture and wanted a free return label. They wanted me to jump through hoops and gave me the run around again after severalemails. I told Milo I wanted to speak to the manager and that I will file a complaint with Amazon.the last email I receive today was that he will refund half the money and the other half when they receive the return package. What a joke. All that back and forth, and I'm still waiting for the return label, cause I'm not about to pay for the shipping back.
Please do not order anything from All Posters or Art.com! This was the worst experience I've had in all of the online orders I've ever made. I recently placed my order online and was charged on my card immediately after I placed the order. I never received a confirmation email or receipt. I spent 3 days on the phone with multiple representatives from the company, all of which said that I never placed an order, and that I was not even in their system. They said they had no record of my order, even though that had already charged my credit card! Their representatives hung up on me twice, and many others failed to contact me via email like promised. They always said that they had their manager looking into it, but I never heard back. It took days of contacting the company and my bank to get my money back. They were never going to ship the posters I ordered. Overall, stay AWAY from this company!
Waiting more than 2 weeks for the order to come. After one week from estimated delivery date tried to communicate with art.com via live chat, unfortunately, support staff was rude, not qualified and responded with general answers. I was told PayPal payment didnt go through. I checked - it actually did. Got back to art.com, now they were saying the order had been put on hold by some verification reasons. I said - okay, but instead of waisted 2 weeks waiting, art. Com may at least have notified about it. Plus during this period delivery address had been changed, and I asked whether it is possible to change it. Answer was - no. I wondered for a good reason for that since order has not been shipped yet anyway. But unfortunately received no answer.
This was my first order with art.com I still have not received. I am afraid I am not coming back. This messy way of doing business is not the perfect for attracting new customers
I ordered a picture of a beautiful beach, very colorful and pretty.
What i received did not look anything like the website photo. It does not look like a picture, it is doll and terrible quality. I thought I share so people ordering from this site know what to expect.
Ordered a canvas 30x40, obviously sent defective print. Had large areas where the print didn't take so just left white splotches. They did send a replacement and the new print wasn't much better. After the order we received constant spam and actually found another print we liked and was on sale for a really great price so we gave them another chance. Customer service told us the price quoted on their website was a mistake but they would still honor it. Received emails saying the print was on the way. A week later received an email saying this print can't be made into a canvas so they're cancelling our order! Yet the print still shows on their website that it's available in canvas? Also they will not answe our emails. NEVER AGAIN! SCAMMERS!

I ordered about $700 worth of framed artwork (8 items). Five of them were in the same frame to be hung as a grouping. One of the frames on these five items came with significant damage. It took me five emails and 3 phone calls to get them to agree to replace it after I sent them a picture of the damage. Then I received another email saying the print was no longer available and therefore they were issuing a refund. Problem with this is that the print wasn't damaged, the frame was. They were unwilling to let me send it to them and have them reframe it or to send framing materials so I could, at my own expense, have it framed locally. So now my plans to hang these five items in a grouping all with the same frames cannot be achieved. They could have been helpful, but I guess they are not that kind of business. Will not purchase from them again.

Use them if you want to be e-mail spammed and cookied forever. The unsubscribe button has no effect, and direct appeals to customer (non) service are politely ignored. Zero regard for customer privacy. Too bad, because the product I purchased was quite satisfactory.
I absolutely cannot say enough about the canvas artwork I received. After waiting over 4 months (yes, 4 months) with another online vendor, I jumped at the chance to try their services when Art.com initially introduced the option to create one-of-a-kind canvases from one's photos. First let me say, I placed my order on Monday evening. ALL 7 canvases were at my front door by Friday. A turnaround of approximately 4 (yes 4) DAYS! I was so relieved to actually receive the product I had paid for...
After the other recent experience, I must admit my expectations were not very high. Needless to say, Art.com blew those expectations out of the water and into the next county. The canvases were very well packed within a box almost created to be a custom fit, heavyweight, cardboard envelope. None had even a single corner that was dented. I could tell this was a company that valued it's customers & their products.
Lastly, the vibrancy and clarity of the canvases is beyond anything I would ever have expected from an online service taking everyday photos and transforming them into lasting quality memories captured on canvas. And I love the option of the frame edging as black. Compared to other ordered canvases with a mirror-edged finish, the black option gives the artwork a very distinctive look that only makes the canvas picture's color tones, gradients, and contrast pop. Too bad I couldn't post pictures here to show the packaging and product, but you can check out my review on Google for the photos!
Art.com has one VERY satisfied customer here! I will DEFINITELY be using this option in the future to create additional personalized canvas artwork. Highly recommended and Greatly appreciated. LR
Answer: Don't be fooled, this company is a scam, they don't deliver and don't refund.
Answer: I found a print and wanted to have it mounted and framed.
Answer: They make their 800 number a bit hard to find and be aware that who you start speaking with has little to no escalation power to resolve more complex matters.
