I bought an international ticket from them and am out thousands of dollars because they made the reservation by adding my middle initial to my first name. I tried for months to get this fixed with AranGrant. They didn't do it and the airline told me they would not be able to let me board due to the name not matching my passport. Their customer service is no help and is misnamed. Should be customer abuse department.
I had used Arangrant several times in the past without problems, but this last autumn, because of some problems, in an email of 10/08/22, they agreed to refund me approximately $600. This never happened and now, almost 4 months later, they ignore my inquiries and refuse to respond to my emails.!
I have booked international travel, all classes, for over 40 years. This company simply promises you things like great customer service (which to me means at least answering your phone), the ability to change dates (which they say is impossible when you finally get in touch with them), does not assign seats properly, does not assign your frequent traveler number to your profile, does not make sure you are emailed a "time to check in" email, and basically is a company you pay money to and then they disappear. I strongly suggest you go to a proper travel agency; the rates they offer are no better than any other rates you can find on Google flights. This group is horrible at best, do not trust a word they say.
The worst third-party travel agent I've ever dealt with. Flight was cancelled on day of travel. When I asked for help, they were useless. I asked for a refund and I'm still fighting them to get my money back even though I purchased travel insurance through them. They are incompetent and untrustworthy. Do yourself a favor and don't give them your business.
I purchased two business class tickets to LHR and when I called to confirm they had booked me a day later then needed. They made the mistake and then told me that they could not fix?
What I have experienced has been absolutely the worst possible bait and switch by this company. They said I could have a credit for my cancelled flight with hefty processing and rebooking fees. I agreed so I could rebook. I found a ticket online listed with their agency with a similar price so I asked to rebook. They told me I could rebook at a much higher price. I asked why they were quoting so much more and I was told that the price I was seeing was only for new bookings. I couldn't have that rate. BAIT AND SWITCH!
Then I asked them to cancel my ticket and they could keep the money as I learned I had coverage and they are no longer even replying! They will not send me a cancellation letter. All I want is the $475 I paid for the processing fee to have a credit. They can keep the $4250 I do for th biz class ticket but they are even denying me this! Outrageous and defies belief.
AGGRAVATED THIEVES! AGGRAVATED LIARS IN THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY
On July 25,2022, I purchased business class tickets from ARANGRANT for my family (my wife and I plus our 2 kids) to travel home for my mother's funeral that was scheduled for October 2022. I purchased tickets from them for $*******.56 with a $20 tip with a scheduled flight for October 7,2022.
As part of the funeral preparations, I took an advanced trip home alone on August 20, purchasing tickets from the same merchant – ARANGRANT for 4,976.57. I was scheduled to return on August 27.
When I arrived at the airport on August 27 to fly back home from my advanced trip, I was notified that my ticket had been cancelled. I called ARANGRANT from whom I had purchased the tickets for an explanation. They could not provide any reasonable explanation, and I had to return home to resume work. I insisted on an explanation and was advised to purchase another ticket and return home, and then they will open the dispute. I purchased another ticket and flew back with Ethiopian airlines.
Meanwhile on that same date August 27 I advised ARAN GRANT to cancel my October 7 reservations and refund the purchase in full. Here is the text message I had with HENRY *******694) the agent who was charged with my file:
I later purchased a new set of tickets from the same merchant for my entire family to travel on October 5. We did travel on 10/5/2022.
To my greatest surprise they charged me for the October 7 flight which we did not take. They knew fully well that we had traveled 2 days earlier on October 5.
I reached out to Henry to inquire about my refund status. Here is the text message exchange:
In the lead up to the ticket purchase HENRY that the *******694) is his direct line. Today when I call someone else responds and tells me Henry is not on shift. Fellow travelers beware! This is purely and simply a bunch of thieves and liars who are out to get a hold of your credit card information to scam you.
NOBODY SHOULD BE APPROACHING THIS MERCHANT FOR ANY KIND OF TRAVEL RESERVATIONS. THEY HAVE PROVEN TO BE AGGAVATED THIEVES AND LIARS.
I needed to cancel an international flight I had booked with AramGrant. I called over a week before my flight and canceled, since I had purchased insurance I requested a refund. I was told that even with insurance I would need a letter from my doctor stating that the cancellation was due to a health problem. The alternative would be to receive a credit voucher with the airlines for a future flight. In fact, the cancellation was due to a health issue and I knew my doctor would write a letter. I explained the situation to the agent, telling him my doctor was in the US, and asked him how I would go about submitting the letter. He said I would receive a call, I never did. He went through the steps and indicated that the flight was cancelled. The flight was today with one leg on British Air and another with American. I called both airlines to confirm the cancellation and both replied that was the case. When I called AramGrant once again to find out how to submit my refund request with my doctors letter, I was told that I missed the flight so neither a refund or voucher would be possible, they denied that I had canceled. Both airlines had told me that only the booking company could cancel my reservation and, as mentioned, both airlines confirmed the cancellation. AramGrant insists I did not cancel and because I missed the flight I am due no compensation. When I asked to. Speak to a supervisor I was assured of a call back, it never came. This is not a reputable company.
Before contacting Arangrant, I was convinced we could no longer afford to fly first class to Europe due to skyrocketing gas prices. One call to Arangrant and speaking to Hugo revealed that affordable business class flights to London and Paris still exist. In less than one hour, Hugo had found very affordable flights even going so far as to search for the best aircraft and seats available. Previously, I had wasted two weeks with our long time travel agent who could find nothing and lost lots of time on internet sites promising miracles but producing no flights without multiple layovers. If you are worried about the cost of European flights with the exorbitant gas prices - call Hugo at Arangrant and enjoy your travel.
I purchased thru Arangrant a United Premium Economy ticket for travel from SFO to Italy in June. I came down with COVID 7 days prior to the trip, I canceled directly with United and immediately notified Arangrant. Two months have passed, multiple emails, phone calls, and promises to get back to me "soon". I have yet to receive any status on a credit with United. Beware that the discount and professionalism during the purchase process will not extend to cancellations for premium or business class tickets. Unless you are certain that your plans will change, I would recommend avoiding Arangrant.
Had spent many hours trying to find the best business class flights from ORD to Rome when I found a link to AranGrant on Kayak. Jason V contacted me almost immediately and has been an unbelievable help in finding just the right tickets for both schedule and pricing and we are booked and ready to go.
We have traveled extensively until COVID and this will be only our second overseas trip in 3 years. Jason made it all work and I appreciate his time and effort!
They misinform you about the refund. It seems like you will get free cancelation if you cancel within 24 hours but you will get big penalty from the airline. Never believe about their cancelation policy.
Warren goes above and beyond to satisfy the requirements of our entire family. He was in control of everything, from seat allocations to meals to stopover time. I would definitely suggest this service because it saved me a lot of time and gave me a terrific trip experience!
