My now 91 years young Mother was hit with some serious medical issues about 18 months ago. She was bedridden for 3 months, which caused serious muscle degeneration. She has been living in my brother's home, but needed her independence, so I contacted A Place for Mom.

When my mom suddenly passed away I had to quickly find a place that her 93 year old companion could move to. I can't praise APFM enough. Not only Michelle Lorusso but her team that rounded up a list of facilities within our budget and radius provided excellent service, and a priceless amount of understanding about intra-family difficulties. Doing the right thing for someone should not be so painful, but APFM seems to have seen it all many times before. No good deed goes unscathed in this world, but let these people make it easier, because they will.
