A place for mom did all the legwork for us. We answered a few questions and they got us in contact with a local representative in our area. He helped us narrow down what would be best for my uncle. He set up the appointments. He checked back every few days to see how we were doing if he could assist in anyway if we had any questions While the whole process was stressful, a place for mom made it much easier

Missy was an amazing partner in tailoring the search criteria to what we were specifically looking for. She had personal experience of having been in the home that we chose and she helped us in our search every step of the way. She emailed, texted and took phone calls and adjusted the search criteria as we needed. We got 12 very good leads from her to check out and my Uncle is now in the perfect situation for the level of care he needs in a home that is AMAZING!

With their expert knowledge, they helped us every step of the way. Counselor's help is invaluable in focusing your search, contacting facilities that you might be interested in and scheduling tours. The online scheduling tools are also helpful as are the emails that address related issues that you need to consider

When I reached out to A Place for Mom I had no idea what I was doing or how the organization worked. My parents needed a place to go as their condo was not conducive to their new needs. I live in one city and my brother in another and had no idea what we were going to do. Their representatives reached out quickly. I wasn't quite ready to deal with the situation at that time but when I did decide I needed help they were there. Rose was AMAZING! Right from the get go she put my mind at ease, gave me pointers and options in both cities. I was able to email or text her and her responses back were quick. ERIN KLANCAR was our liaison to find and work with facilities. She alleviated the heavy work and research for us. She stayed on top of all moving parts. She continuely reached out to us to make sure we had all our questions answered. She made sure we understood the steps and was willing to help if we needed it. It went smoothly.

The followup and sense of actual concern for our needs was so helpful. Once or twice I felt quite stressed about our situation and just talking about it helped. When we actually made our move, we felt it was the right decision.

When I reached out to a Place for Mom after a discussion of mom's situation and needs I was immediately given several options for possible places which could support mom with memory care. The team there helped set up virtual tours of the facilities, and within a couple weeks mom was welcomed to her new home. During the move in and subsequent visits I have been really impressed by the care facility.
