We were undecided on if or where to move. A Place for Mom came through with numerous good ideas. We are now living in one of those places.

Very helpful advice and information about available facilities as our family navigated a rapidly changing set of medical issues for a family memeber.

I use to recommend this service to everyone that I worked with. Then I needed their service. Well, it didn't go as well as i had planned. I did 90% of the work. There was a financial issue when I rented at the place I chose. I was floored.

Kate Albert was very kind and patient with me through this process. The assistance was what I needed to get started on with making difficult decisions.

I was lucky enough to get to work with Leisa Wade and wow, she has made a difference.
I had no clue what my next steps should be and I was almost at the panicking stage because my Mom could not live alone anymore. Leisa went over finances and what types of services may be needed. She gave me several options in my budget and around the area I needed and set up the visits with the facilities. She also sent me a check list of important questions to ask. She reached out after each visit and we talked about them. She has texted and called to make sure everything was arranged.
I can't say enough positive things about this company and especially Leisa Wade, she is amazing. She was my angel when I needed help and I can not recommend her enough.

On being discharged from a hospital stay, my doctor told me he would recommend my going to an Assisted Living Facillity for a while to recover fully. The thought of that terrified me as I have always lived independently, in my own home for over 20 years. The Care Coordination Team offered me several options and "A Place for Mom" was 1st one of them so I placed a call to them and almost immediately a lovely woman, whose name I have forgotten sadly, offered me whatever help I might need & told me Senior Faciliies would be contacting me & again, almost immediately several facilited contaced me with offers for tours. I spoke with reps from 2 facilities and was most drawn to Marcy@ Palmilla Senior Living, who offered me a virtual tour of her facility since I was yet well. She & I talked endlessly! We talked about all 3 options, from Memory Care to Assisted Living to Independent Apartment and/or Casita Living. Because I live alone she said she could put me in touch with movers to help me pack & move me and long story short, I chose Palmilla Senior Living and moved in last week. I couldn't be happier. The amenities & help they offer their residents is unmatched in my eyes. I would definitely highly recommend A Place for Mom for self or family members to everyone!

A Place for Mom provided a diverse list of care locations. They sent a schedule with directions and followed up after my tours. I found a lovely facility that is in the area we desired. This service made thing flow very easily.

I work in senior living, memory care and skilled nursing; so when my mother needed help I thought I would be able to choose the best place. I was mistaken! I did not find the best place for her and realized it after a few months. I contacted A Place For Mom and reached Cindy Doty. Cindy made me feel comfortable and, after discussing my mom's needs, gave me options for good places for her. I chose the one I felt would be best and I was right! My mother is happy, healthy and mentally stimulated. As a daughter, that is exactly what I needed. I never would have found this program if not for A Place For Mom. Thank you

My experience with "A Place for Mom" was wonderful from the start. They made the process a "One- Stop-Shop" from finding an Assisted Living Facility to applying for VA Spousal Benefits. I would recommend their service to anyone that has a loved one needing assisted living accommodations and/or someone looking into how to apply for veteran's benefits.
