This is the second time we have used the services of A Place For Mom.
They have always helped our family tremendously. This second time around we needed to relocate our family member from independent living to a memory care facility.
A Place for Mom provided a list of places in our area to review. Luckily we found a wonderful place quickly and are moving our loved one to his new residence very soon.

Just a week before my move to independent living I was struggling and not really safe to live by myself. I had used a place for mom several years ago for my own mom and they were incredibly helpful. So I called for myself. One of those places I chose to move to. The building itself as well as the grounds are truly amazing. The staff here are awesome! I'm so glad I called a place for mom.

A Place for Mom has supported me both emotionally and in finding the best memory care facility to meet my mom's needs as well as our family's. Although this has been a stressful and heart-wrenching experience, their service has been a tremendous help along the way.

Made our families experience very easy, helpful with setting up appointments with the assisted living facilities. My dad made a decision on his first day of visits, which took a good deal of stress off his granddaughters and myself. The entire process was so much easier than I expected. Moving my dad in was the only stressful part, getting him to decide on what he wanted to bring was the challenge. Lol

A Place for Mom identified facilities within our mileage and financial parameters which saved us a great deal of time and effort in our search.

Kate from a place for mom is awesome. She connected us with great places to view for my father very quickly. All the way through the process offering assistance and, sharing resources that afforded my father the opportunity to move into a facility even though his home hasn't sold yet. I love the place we decided on as it is a good fit for my father. I would definitely recommend Kate and a Place for Mom to others.

Everyone very kind however it turned out to be quite overwhelming in regards to sales and constant emails and text messages, I actually had to tell them to please back off.

Your agents provided me with lists of good facilities to contact, helped me set up tours and gave helpful information on the entire process.

I was very impressed with the quick response from APFM very shortly after a social worker contacted them on our behalf. From that initial contact with Wendy, I had a return call from Susan with excellent recommendations in my area within an hour. My mom moved in the very next day. Great assistance, compassionate, and on point. What a wonderful service they provide, thank you!

A Place for Mom made the process extremely easy regarding locating facilities and narrowing the process down. Kelly and Samuel were very helpful and responsive. I strongly recommend using their service to assist with this transitional period.

I am very pleased with the help I received. I described what I thought my Mom needed and the locations I was as interested in. My representative developed a listing that met my concerns and I set up appointments to tour the facilities. Luckily, we placed my Mom into our top pick residence.
My representative checked in with me regularly to see where we were with the process. She also reached out after we placed my Mom. This is a great organization which helps you through a very difficult process.

My husband's dementia went downhill very quickly.
I no longer could care for him at home. I contacted A Place for Mom for information. Pedro, my advisor, was wonderful to work with.

He set up an interview for me at Bethlehem Manor. Talish, the very nice Resident Care Coordinator there, explained everything and gave me a tour. I was very impressed.
It is not a fancy place, but expertly run. All of the employees are so friendly and wonderful with the residents.
The Memory Care floor is a locked floor. The residents have their own dining room, and TV room. The laundry is done right there also. They are taken downstairs for some activities.
I can decorate my husband's room anyway I want to. I really like that.
My husband is acclimating quite well due to the personal care and wonderful people at Bethlehem Manor. I know I made the right decision for him.
I do highly recommend their Memory Care Unit.

During the time we were going through. A Place For Mom was a huge help. Supplying us with direction and so much information we needed. We didn't know where to start and they were there to help.
They gave us lists of nursing homes. They even set up apts.

A Place for Mom was outstanding in helping us quickly find a place for my dad to begin hospice care. They responded promptly to our questions and offered support every step of the way. I also appreciated how understanding they were about communicating through text, which worked best for me given my profession.

I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking to find a compassionate and caring new home for their loved one.

Navigating complex medical and physical needs as well as declining cognitive function, Joy was instrumental in not only finding the right fit but also giving advice on how to advocate for mom in the skilled nursing facility she was in. If we ever find ourselves in a similar situation again, Joy will be our first call!

I had to find a place for my sister. The representative I worked with was excellent. She kept working till she found a place for my sister. I would recommend this service to anyone looking to place a loved one!
