We knew my dad was just barely hanging onto his independence at home. I saw an advertisement for A Place for Mom and decided to make the call. I was given options across 3 different states and was also given some practical advice. My dad is now in a safer place and it all started with help from our advisor Beth

I found A Place for Mom's assistance to be transformative. I stumbled upon them by accident after I had conducted an extensive search of assisted living options for my mother using AI. They identified options that I have failed to identify and provided a rational way of going about finding an appropriate living situation for my mother.

In fact, she's living in one of the facilities they identified now!

Stephanie was very compassionate, helpful and professional. She really took a lot of stress off my shoulders and was happy to help. She gave me several places to think about; but 2 of them really stood out to me: Gemstone and Avalon. They were both top notch, very attentive to their patients, very sweet caregivers. We finally settled on Avalon as they have a "quiet area" for people who get overstimulated. Stephanie walked me through what was needed and made sure that we were satisfied with our choice. I highly recommend A Place for Mom, they are just the best and were so helpful!

Our experience was phenomenal with A Place For Mom. I dealt with two women that were equally as compassionate in helping me navigate such a difficult course. My mom fell and broke her hip at the end of July and was bounced from facility to facility. She eventually ran out of Medicare, therefore needed long-term care. Both girls help me to define what my mom needed and the best places to find the care that she needed. The cost here in Massachusetts is outrageous comparably speaking. They were able to find me something that was financially viable. They're carrying and knowledge was. Exactly what I needed at this time. I cannot thank them and A Place For Mom enough. Thank you.

My Aunt had a big stroke recently and I reached out to find guidance on what her options were. Beth (nurse)helped me throughout the process. She was kind, informative and patient. Our circumstances changed a few times. No matter how many times our goals changed she took the time to check in with me without being pushy. My representative, Joy, was amazing. She tailored her recommendations to my specific needs and geographic and budgetary desires. Nothing extraneous. My time researching facilities was made especially efficient by her recommendations. And I was on a very tight timeline as my loved one was on the verge of discharge from the hospital.

We needed to move my mom from assisted living to memory care and the move had to be made quickly. APfM made this difficult process almost painless. Highly recommend!

All of the Assisted Living facilities had long waiting lists and most had high costs even for an Independent tenant. My contact at A Place for Mom suggested a 55 and older scenario and that worked. There were some pricing concerns but My contact was able to get that sorted out for us. My Sister has moved in and is very happy and will save money going forward.

The agent I worked with -, Christina Smith,-was always pleasant and very helpful with giving me a list of possible locations and the services they offered, which is just what I needed in my search for a final senior living destination. She checked in regularly and also took suggestions that I made for searching at various other locations I heard about, and would tell me whether they would be a good fit for me or not, as well as the listings she had for me in the first place. Jamillah was a real lifesaver, going above and beyond to find assisted living options for my Mom that met my general criteria. She did a ton of legwork in 2 different locations, and followed up regularly to see what additional support she could provide. I moved Mom into one of their recommendations last week.
