From the initial call, I felt so cared for and that I had someone who would help me with the process of moving my parents into assisted living. I received some great recommendations without any presure to choose any particular place or any place. I was contacted at least once a week by a caring, personable agent. She rejoiced with me as I finally chose a place and again as my parents made the move. It was a long process and I felt that I had a friend who cared about my parents and family and only wanted the best for all.

I had no idea what I was doing. They walked me through step by step and really really cared. Could not have gotten through this chapter without them.

I have been involved with Christy Bitts for about 10 years. She helped me find a place for my mom in 2014 which worked out very well. Then in 2021 a good friend retired and needed a good place to move. Christy found the most perfect place for him and it worked out so well. Then when his status changed this recently Christy was there again to help us find another perfect place for him. I have been very satisfied with all her help and support all these years.

They were quick to find local, reputable facilities, which were able to get us an appointment and we were able to secure a nice location.

I am trying to help a man who is lonely for his hometown and wishes to move to a facility in Abilene. He's a bit confused and offers some challenges. APFM has been very patients and helpful and patient.

As soon as I completed the application and hit submit, I received a phone call from an agent, who then transferred me to my case manager. She did all the work for me, selecting facilities that seemed to meet our needs. She checked in on me almost every day at first.

I found A Place for Mom representative to be very helpful in suggesting places and letting me know what was offered.

We checked out most of our list from A Place for Mom. All were very nice. My mom is moving into one of them next week. Thanks!

Wendy Sousa was immediately on the phone helping us find a place for mom. She had knowledge of the area and options. She was central point of contact which made it easier to coordinate visits to different places for mom. Very pleasant and helpful.

Becoming the parent to your parent is not easy. Especially when your parent is living 12 hours away. My father was hospitalized and I quickly learned that he would not be able to live alone anymore. Once the hospital started talking about discharge and where he would be able to go and receive 24 hour a day care I was instantly overwhelmed. Once I filled out the questionnaire from A Place for Mom it was like things quickly started falling into place.

Advisor was very helpful throughout the process of finding the right place for my mom and brother. I was very stressed and Jonathan put me at ease.

Luis was extremely helpful & efficient as we were looking for an assisted living place for my mother. He gave pertinent information & was friendly & understanding.

Brooke called and listen to what my mother needed and started setting up appointments to tour retirement/ independent facilities. She was quick and efficient and I was able to settle on the Landing of Athens. My mother will be moving in next month.

Stephanie, our advisor, has been super helpful. I started my research on my own, trying to find a place for my parents. The information was overwhelming, and calling different places wasted so much of my time but didn't get anywhere. I clicked on the link to A place for mom. They connected me with my local advisor. Stephanie listened to me and asked a lot of questions I had never thought about. Then she recommended a few places and arranged the visits. My parents just moved in to an assisted living facility. They fell in love with that place when I first took them there. Now they have more social life and enjoy all the activities.

A Place for Mom was the first place i called when trying to find care facility. I was given multiple referrals. After a few phone calls I was able to find a place that had the services that my mom needed.

Kelly Vitale was absolutely amazing. I feel that she went above and beyond for my 81 year old uncle. She took all of the legwork from my already loaded table. She is quite knowledgeable about how the system works and knows the best places for families looking for a home for their loved ones. She made me feel like she actually cared about my family and myself. We need more compassion and empathy on this planet. She embodies these values. Just as an aside there was no charge for her service.

I had to find a place for my husband within 30 days. I chose one of the places that was recommended. I also was put on a waiting list for 2 and all were open to the problems my husband was experiencing.
