Needed respite care. They were prompt, efficient and very helpful. Also their follow up was great.

I have a 91 Mother in Law (MIL) who lives in Oklahoma. My husband (71) and I live in Georgia. My MIL has been deteriorating for some time. We knew she could no longer live with her youngest son (65) as her dementia was getting worse. I saw on TV numerous times "A Place For Mom". THANK HEAVENS I reached out to them! Helpful? I was honored to have Tyler as my personal representative. He was able to give me a list of possible Memory Care Facilities in the Tulsa area. We were able to get my MIL into a FABULOUS facility and there is NO way we could have done this alone! When you know your loved one needs more care I can't begin to say please go to A Place For Mom!

I was overwhelmed with the process of locating an assisted living facility for my mother in law. Every person I spoke with was knowledgeable and sympathetic to my situation. They scheduled tours and guided me through the difficult decision process. I would have been lost without the assistance from the A Place for Mom team!

I needed to move my husband and didn't even know where to start in finding the right place. This group asked lots of questions and then was able to make a first pass at those facilities that would be the best fit. We were able to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. They even scheduled the walk through and followed up after each visit. All I can say is Thank you for everything!

We talked and I was given 5 places to visit in a group home setting, which was my preference. Of these 5, I really liked 3 places. I wanted a place that had other men for my husband. My final choice from the 3 came down to ease to get to and having an opening. I felt very supported through the process and we communicated after every visit. I recommend working with this company!

Sarah was great in helping find sites that met my mother's needs and setup visits for us to evaluate whether they were a fit. She helped us understand our options and make sure we were spending our time wisely when finding the right place

When I first called a place for mom and was put in touch with Dana/Jennifer I thought I hit the jackpot. I explained to them I was thrown into a situation to find my sister suitable placement without any knowledge of the whole system. Dana spent a lot of time explaining stuff to me and helping. When it came time for my sister to be released and go to assisted living, they physically went out and visited properties for me as I worked full-time and traveled. I relied on their judgment and their truthfulness when discussing fees as I was upfront about what her budget would allow. After my sister was placed, and I was getting ready to move her into the facility, I found out about an activity fee that was definitely unbudgeted and had no foreseeability of. The place also charged for med management as well as any shower assistance she might need. After all of this the final monthly charge was well over $1000 over budget, but clearly too late to do anything about. I let Dana know I was very unhappy at the lack of truthfulness about the entire expense/fee situation when she knew specifically I had no knowledge dealing with this environment. I would definitely not recommend this service, especially if you have no knowledge in this environment. It would've been better for me to have called each place and found that out on my own.

I contacted A Place For Mom about trying to find an independent living community for my brother. Yvette and I talked and from our discussion she provided me with 5 choices that met my criteria. She explained that if none of the five were not what we wanted, that she could provide more suggestions. We visited four of the five and decided on the one that most fit our needs. A Place for Mom helped me find a place for my in-laws. I told them what we needed and they led me to the exact spot that met our requirements. They also helped me realize how we were going to pay for it. They educated us and made our decision much easier.

Extremely quick response. I was desperate for quick help and in a short period of time we had choices of ALS. Found one we love and everything worked out well

When my mother and I discussed senior living I had no idea how to move forward. A friend suggested A Place for Mom and within minutes of filling out their web forms I was in contact with them. From that momem on Chris was instrumental in helping me find the best place for my mom, negotiate terms and price and lead me through a difficutl and emotional change for my mother.

After contacting A Place for Mom, the information started flowing. I received lots of calls, lots of emails, etc. I only wanted places that were within a 10-minute drive, so I only toured three facilities, one of which I had seen three years ago, and that is the facility we ended up going to for my mother. The process of finding a place that you feel confident in is a daunting experience - it was good to have some help with this.

We were coming from out of state to find memory care for a relative. A Place for Mom gave us a list to start to work from. They guided us before we entered a facility. And they checked after for our opinions on what we saw. They gave us excellent advice about what to look for. We could not have done this search without their help. We absolutely recommend starting this journey with them. They gave us advice about each of our searches as if it was from a mom. They gave frank advice. We heard about them on TV but they were invaluable in helping us make the correct placement for our relative. Again, they were instrumental in helping us navigate this difficult decision. But we are totally confident we made the right one for our family with their help.

This is the second time I have had to reach out to A Place for Mom. The first time was nearly two years ago when I was seeking assistance finding an Assistive Living home for my mother. They responded quickly and effectively. They arranged appointments and kept in touch.

Now, I am looking for a nursing home and called A Place for Mom again. Once again, they came through with excellence and efficiency. Thank you for your help in this most stressful time.
