When I first contacted A Place for Mom (APFM), I was inundated with phone calls, and emails. Since we weren't ready to use the service, the calls and emails tapered off. Occasionally, I'd get an email and that was fine. I couldn't locate contact information when we were ready to find a place. I got an email asking if I needed someone to contact me. I thankfully replied, YES. This happened twice but NO RESPONSE. I waited for about 2 months and no contact. We had contacted one of the places A Place for Mom recommended before APFM, so we contacted them directly. THEN APFM contacted us. As far as I'm concerned A Place for Mom didn't do anything for us.
I'm sure this helps many people and I still think it could be a good service.

Kelly was very helpful with leading me to best facility Taylored for my father's needs after having 2 strokes & in need of placement in facility that could help my Dad heal from all the turmoil & unpleasant experiences in the hospital & nursing facility he was in after the strokes. So with Kelly guidance and listening to the urgency of my Dad's situation my Dad is in a wonderful memory care assisted living place called Arden Courts in Chagrin Falls that has been a lifesaver for him

A Place for Mom was beyond helpful. They found out what I was looking for in a place for my mom and sent me a list of facilities that would meet my needs. I was able to set up tours and make my final decision very quickly. My coordinator checked in often to see how I was doing and see if I needed any further help. They provided a lot of additional information covering things I would not have thought of. This is the second time they have helped me, they previously helped me with my dad. I highly recommend A Place for Mom, they provide a wealth of information and are so helpful in a time that can be scary and very stressful.

A Place For Mom was exceptional, proactive with great follow up. I highly recommend letting them help you navigate the confusing world of senior care.

We needed to find a facility with very little notice. I contacted A Place For Mom and immediately received a phone call. I was given multiple options that fit our criteria and they even made appointments for me. Because of their assistance we were able to find a place for our mother the same day! We are so greatful.

A Place for Mom provides so much information. They educate you on things you don't even know you need to consider when looking for a care facility for your Mom, Dad or Friend! They stay with you throughout the process. Helpful and knowledgeable!

I was provided several options. I visited the options and found a great fit for my loved one.

My friend needed homemaker service that would be covered by VA. After months of asking his VA PCP for help, you all referred me to Area Agency on Aging VA Liaison ( Texas) who gave me a list. The very first one I called was Options, in Granberry Tx. They sent a homemaker 10 hours a week who's very capable and compatible with the friend for whom I'm advocating. Many thanks

Very compassionate and helpful! They helped direct me to a place nearby that would meet my parents needs. They are very happy with the choice!

We had an unfortunate situation where I had to find my father-in-law a community in a hurry. A Place for Mom did an unbelievable job. They helped find a home for my father-in-law within days of contacting them. They helped every step of the way with paperwork, placement, and tours. GREAT JOB! A Place for Mom.

Know what it is you would like and dont let them do as they would like. You may find out that there is some one out there lisenting to you.

Christy was amazing. She helped me find a place for my father who was moving from another state. Christy was very knowledgeable and kind. She not only helped me find a place but she helped with so much more.

I recommend using this service. Moving is very stressful and her help relieved a lot of that stress.

Love the foster / nursing home. Wonderful ladies taking care of my bother. I don't need to worry about her as much. They have taken the burden off my shoulders.
