From start to finish everything ran smoothly. Very happy with Amoma & their prices. I use them every year to book my hotels, very satisfied with their service.
It was quite a unique experience I never met before: I found a hotel in Brno through Trivago.hu and was still contemplating whether to book it or not (there was no refund in case of canceling) when an operator called me from AMOMA.com and told that he was seeing I was thinking on selection an how could he help. So I told him that there was no refund in case of canceling and he immediately offered me one. I booked the hotel, immediately got a voucher and upon request a bill, too. In Brno there was no problem with my booking - I arrived somewhat early so I was prepared to wait till 14:00 when I can get my room but I was lucky, I got it right away which was quite good after the long train trip. And I did not pay any extra charge in the hotel.

The receptionist at the hotel took my card details without my consent to "secure" the deposit. I had to block my card to secure that they wouldn't steal money from me

Some hotels charge extra fees for services like wifi, spa, pool towels, etc. These are not collected by us and thus not included in the price. You will be required to pay any such
Fees directly to the hotel upon check-in or check-out. We display these charges throughout the booking process so you can anticipate extra costs before your stay at the hotel.
However we have checked your case and saw that the deposit requested by the hotel was only a standard mandatory incidental fee authorized during the hotel stay, which is automatically released at the end of the journey and thus not considered an extra charge.

I was only present for 2 days. Check-in was easy. They had luggage check-in. That was nice. They had 2 locations 1 for luggage without technology and 1 for luggage with technology (behind front desk). Wall save in room was big enough to store laptop (Dell E6530).

Overall experience was good. Linen and bedding was cleaned as well as the room. Breakfast was nice. Thanks to Mohammed to giving us take away breakfast when checking out as we were not informed of the breakfast times during the week. Came in at 09:35 as we assumed the check out time was 10:30 on Monday.

Arrived at hotel to a drunk in reception intimidating staff. Room fine basic but clean had stayed here before so knew what to expect with facilities. Drunk in receptionn was one of a huge crowd that guzzled double vodkas and gin from opening to closing of bar. Restaurant had feel of a soup kitchen for homeless we eat there twice at lunch time only. We sat at pool bar and listened to loud belching and farting and then a "gentleman" cleared his throats and spat beside his table. Sad thing was the company he was in didn't even notice. It was at that point we decided to leave this hotel and suffer the loss of our prepaid money. Poor receptionist knew exactly why we were moving. A lovely hotel friendly staff fine location with classless clientele.
