Overall experience was solid. I ordered a china / curio cabinet for my mom to replace the one she currently has. Although my original salesperson was no longer with the company Ellen did a great job keeping me updated on the progress. Next step will be replacing the dining table and chairs so hopefully things go just as smoothly.

Also the final product once delivered and looked over by my mom, absolutely floored her.

As a millenial, I'm fairly used to garbage particle board furniture from IKEA and other places. But after so many years replacing crappy cheap furniture, I've decided to start investing in real timeless, solid wood pieces. As I've been replacing all my furniture, a bookcase was a piece I was particularly picky about. I knew I wanted solid wood but I wanted something affordable too. Several weeks searching online and throughout different retail stores just didn't turn up anything quality. Or the quality pieces are highly priced because they're name brand, like Stickley, Ethan Allen, etc. After searching, this beautiful Amish bookcase in the Mission style popped up. I was immediately in love and knew I had to have it! I called them, they were super helpful and friendly. I was initially disappointed to hear of a 7-8 month long wait, but that's normal now because of the impacts the pandemic has had on labor and materials. I decided to wait. They custom build the piece for you and you choose the wood and stain. It was worth the very long wait. And Amish Outlet offers their pieces at 25-30% reduction compared to other Amish crafters who offer the same pieces but at higher cost. Same wait times. I'm so glad I waited and decided to get this timeless, American made piece that will last me to the end of my life!

We ordered 6 chairs. When they were delivered we noticed that 2 of them had minor defects. We communicated with them and sent pictures. They said that they would pick them up, repair them, and ship them back. Turn around time was about a month. BTW the chairs are beautiful!

My husband and I ordered a Buckhannon coffee table, end table, and chairside table in July 2021 and received them in May 2022. The ordering process was easy, and everyone we dealt with at the Amish Outlet Store was very professional and helpful. They provided a price quote that included the projected build and delivery times, answered all of our questions in a timely manner, sent us two sets of stain samples, customized our hardware, and kept us informed via email and phone on the status of our order. And while we had to wait 10 months for the finished product, it was well worth the wait. We couldn't be more pleased with our tables! They're extremely well built and exceptionally beautiful! Both the stain color and hardware are perfect! We're so thankful to Ryan, Carol, Megan, Joe, Ray, and everyone else who had a hand in ordering, producing, shipping, and delivering our tables. If you're looking for high quality custom furniture at a reasonable price, the Amish Outlet Store is the place to go!

I've been waiting for a desk I ordered and paid half for since Sept. 3 2021. I was first told it would take six months, then eight moths and now ten to eleven months. Who knows what they'll say then? If I had not had to pay half in advance I would have long ago cancelled my order and just gotten a desk locally.
Be prepared to wait and wait and wait.

Amish Outlet responded with a $150 discount, which makes the worth more palatable.

I contacted the Amish Outlet Store while looking for a specific bar stool design. They were able to make the exact stools I wanted. They sent stain samples to confirm that the product was exactly right. Everyone I worked with was super kind and helpful. I felt like they were helping a friend get the right product rather than someone looking for a sale. The stools were also delivered into my kitchen much faster than originally estimated, and they are perfect! I highly recommend working with this business.

My order was needed to meet a deadline for shipping to Alaska. The builder was able to promise and deliver the item exactly when needed. The customer service in keeping me informed was excellent. The item is really beautiful and will be a family heirloom in our home.

While the time from order to delivery is lengthy, I do expect that quality takes time. I am willing to wait for quality.
Also I like the half down aspect of the sale.

Our new bed arrived on Tuesday, and we are so happy! It is absolutely beautiful, and we hope you can pass this on to everyone in your company, and especially the person that built it. The detail and hardware is just stunning and the color matches our armoire and dresser perfectly. We also love the changes the builder made in replacing the mirrors (see attached photo). Every one of our friends also commented how beautifully made it is.

Everything from the day we ordered and through delivery was just handled so well. We were a bit concerned when it arrived because of the "L-shaped" access into our bedroom but the guys and us figured it all out and all was well. Just a couple of "of no, it doesn't fit what are we going to do moments" but everything all worked out fine. The three guys who delivered it were so nice and very careful and they arrived almost 2 hours ahead of our scheduled delivery time which was fantastic.

Easy to use website. Ryan called and broke down the costs for my 2 choices, and he answered my questions.

Hard to see items side by side for comparison. You have to toggle between pieces to compare them which takes a lot of time.
