Today is the 4/13 the last day your website says I would receive my shocks. The shocks didn't show up, I reached out to one of your techs and was told that I would receive tracking info in 24-48 hrs. So it will be at least a few more days to even get my tracking number. I ordered these on 4/6. It's been 7 days and no tracking number.
I should know better as you guys did this to me when I bought tires from you.
I will not be shopping your site again!

We do our best to ship items from our warehouse, but there are times when we need to ask the manufacturer to ship the items, as we are out of stock and this is what occurred with your order. We do work hard to have the up-to-date inventory on our system, so we can make customers aware of correct shipping times, but there are situations when we submit the order with the manufacturer, we are then informed there may be a delay in shipping the item. WE understand this is a frustrating experience and we do apologize for this situation.
In reviewing your order, we do show the rear shocks shipped out on 4/13 and were delivered on 4/17. Due to this delay, we issued a credit to your AmericanTrucks account. This credit can be used on a future order and is valid until 7/31/2026.

I have had great experience with American Trucks in the past when I have ordered. The products are always as they are described.
They are very helpful, they would tell you what would work or not work on your vehicle and that is very nice to know.
I paid $135 for "next day" shipping from American Trucks, specifically so I could install a cold air intake on my day off. What I got instead was a perfect example of how not to run a business.
First issue: they didn't even ship it true next day. They used "Next Day Air Saver," which isn't guaranteed until the end of the day. That alone is misleading for what they're charging.
Second—and worse—they sent the completely wrong part. Not even close. Instead of an air intake, I received a long, narrow box clearly labeled for a Mustang convertible top (see photos). This wasn't a small mistake—it was obvious from the second it hit my porch.
Now here's where it really falls apart. I called customer service, and instead of taking full responsibility, they only offered to refund HALF of the $135 shipping fee—even though the error was entirely on their end. After pushing, they agreed to send the correct part next day.
Except they didn't.
I had to call back because I never received tracking, only to be told the replacement was on hold and wouldn't ship until Monday. So now the "next day" order I paid a premium for wouldn't arrive until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. At that point, I would have been better off using their free shipping and saving $135.
To top it off, they expected ME to drive 30 miles to a FedEx location on my own time and gas to return THEIR mistake, then wait another 7–10 days after they receive it just to get my money back.
This is not just poor service—it's a complete breakdown of accountability. Charging premium shipping, sending the wrong item, refusing a full refund, delaying the replacement, and then shifting the burden of the return onto the customer is unacceptable.
I cancelled the order entirely. I won't be using this company again, and I would strongly recommend others think twice before trusting them—especially if timing actually matters.

We work hard to have orders shipped quickly, and correctly to our customers, this was not your experience, and we apologize for this situation. We do see that you were able to set up the return, and you elected to be refunded for this order. We do ask for 7–10 days, after movement on the return label, to be fully refunded.
We do see that you paid additional money for the shipping, the item shipped the same day and was delivered the following day before 3 PM. We also show that you were fully refunded for the shipping costs for this order. We are reviewing your order and our system, as when we tried to replicate the order to verify the delivery timeframe that you were quoted when you paid for the expiated shipping. When we replicated it, the options available were noted as regular shipping or one day shipping. We were unable to view where it was noted that we would be using UPS one day and not UPS Next Day Saver. If you have a confirmation or screenshot confirming this would ship UPS Next Day with delivery by 12PM, please send a screenshot of this to [email protected] so we can make sure we are providing our customers with the correct timeframe.
Once your account is refunded for this order, you will receive an email confirming the refund was completed.

American Trucks is the best there is when it comes to parts for your truck. They have a wide selection no matter the area you are trying to address. Options are vast and range from OEM to high end after market. Staff are helpful, reliable, and available. When it comes to online retailers American Trucks sets themselves apart from the rest.
Bad got some one else junk two peaces of a tri fold rusty broken hardware paid to ship it only to told store credit only some kind of open box thing we will see how this goes

I have ordered multiple items from American Trucks and have only had 2 issues with over 100 items ordered.
I have recently been ordering performance parts for my 2019 F-150 single cab short bed from American Truck. They are always helpful and good to answer any questions I have.
QR code email to me for the return didn't work. The next QR code also didn't work. A rep sent a return label FedEx printed for me.
Answer: Only success story with this place is I know to NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! That's successful!
Answer: AT has Install Connect 2 find and schedule a local shop near your location. They let you choose 3 dates and times, and if there are several different truck shops near you, you decide where and when you would like the job to be completed. I found the install price from AT is much cheaper than I could walk off the street and get a price. I know AT will make sure to choose quality shops and get it done right.
