My 3 shipment were supposed to be delivered on Wednesday 12/10/25. Every day it has been pushed out, now FedEx says Saturday (I don't have much hope in that happening). I had planned on having my truck back up and running today, that's not going to happen. This is a common problem with FedEx and I would suggest dumping them and going to UPS. I am sure when I get the parts I will be happy wit them but the shipping really let me down.
This is my second order and I really don't have much experience with them. 2 orders in 2 day. They are very responsive with their info via email. I think I am going to ordering much more stuff from them.

Christopher the sales report was great. However the shipping process is bad, I was supposed to have my tonneau cover on 12/11/2025 and never received it, no update on when it will be delivered. Due to this I had an appointment for installation and now have to reschedule and pay 25% for the install due to short notice cancelation. Not happy with this right now

He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable helped me choose the right options for my truck look wise and safety, mechanical wise he sent me links so I could see it the visually as we were speaking on the phone and helped me from the beginning till end of purchase, I would love to work with him again thank you.
Saw a add for this product on my Facebook feed from another company and thought the prices were too high so I researched the product and found the same product for less and it offered 2" straps as a choice.
After a less than satisfying experience from another company i ordered from American Trucks. They said the products were in stock and would be at my house in two days. I ordered them and BOOM two days later they arrived. The instructions were easy to understand. The packaging was better than the other companies, and most importantly they were the correct ones.
The instructions said it would take about two hours to install. However, a little more than an hour later I was finished with the install.

I ordered a sync radio for my F350. American trucks advertise the radio as a plug and play. They also show it having the heat and air controls and radio controls necessary for hook up. After the product arrives, it did not come with the heat and air controls or radio controls. I was told they would reimburse me half of the cost of the controls because they misrepresented it. I had to buy an extra $300 dollar part. I took the radio to a professional audio shop for installation. After installation my heat and air wouldn't work, and passenger side air bag light was on. The audio shop stated it needed programming, which was not how it was advertised. The audio shop was capable of programming it, but need the codes. We spent a month and contacting American Trucks and their supplier trying to get the codes for programs. The sync radio does not come with instructions. We could not get the programming codes for the radio. It was an overseas company that American Truck referred us too. When we would spend hours during the day to reach out, they would email back during the middle of the night. I finally got fed up and took it to my local Ford dealership. The dealership reached out to Ford Sync to find out that the radio is not compatible with my truck. When we ordered, American Trucks got my vin number twice to confirm it was compatible. I then contacted American trucks and they did let me return the product. I have 1,100 dollars in receipts for installation, the heat and air controls that they didn't not supply ( that is non refundable), and the cost of the dealership. All of this on a product that they continue to advertise as a " plug and play". I asked for some of the charges that I occurred to be given as a store credit, or reimbursed in some way. They told me they would give me a $60.00 dollar store credit. That offended me! I asked to speak to a manager a week ago. They said a manager would reach out. No one has contacted me. Very disappointed.

We do apologize that the system you received did not come with the hear, air conditioning and radio controls when our description showed that these would be included. I can understand your disappointment and frustration with this situation. We are in the process of reviewing the information we have on our site and we reached out to the manufacturer and they are going to now start including these items in the kit to make it more of a turn key package. We do show that you were able to process a return of this item and received the refund for this order.

Answer: AT has Install Connect 2 find and schedule a local shop near your location. They let you choose 3 dates and times, and if there are several different truck shops near you, you decide where and when you would like the job to be completed. I found the install price from AT is much cheaper than I could walk off the street and get a price. I know AT will make sure to choose quality shops and get it done right.
