I recently purchased some hood struts form American Muscle. They advertised a $30 prepaid Visa Card with the purchase of these struts. Part of the requirements tor receive the rebate is that you need to provide the original UPC code(s) from the product. This is generally on the box that contains the item you are purchasing. When I received the struts from American Muscle, the struts were delivered in a generic box shipping box. I thought the original box would be inside of this generic shipping box and it was not. The struts was placed in Styrofoam and placed inside this generic shipping box. I could not find a UPC code(s) because the struts were not shipped inside its original packaging. The first time I called American Muscle twice they said they would investigate and get back to me by email, nothing ever came of that. I called four days later and spoke to another rep, they put me on hold and after about 8 minutes came back online and said that they would have to reach out to Modern Muscle Design, the company offering the rebate and inquire about the UPC code, a week and a half later no response. I believe that American Muscle is removing these UPC codes and redeeming them themselves.
They suck first off i order shocks for my car they sent one right one and the other one was wrong called got the right one ordered in took 4 days to get here and then went to put it on a week later cause I was busy and they sent the wrong hard ware and old hard ware won't work worst company I have ordered from never going to order again from them
Emailed to get a revised tune. They waited 6 days to email me back just to say they could not tune for the hard part that I purchased. What's the point of offering free tuning for life if you can't tune for specific parts?
Worst experience I have ever had shopping online and I am shop a lot. Completely disrespectful with customer and I am the type that is patient and understanding, but they surpassed the level of supreme incompetence (the type you see on those fake chinese online stores that have only one person behind the computer doing everything). All of their customer service personnel do not communicate with other sectors of the company, that means they will say things to you that are not even going to happen. On top of that, they change things on the fly, send emails contradicting previous emails, etc. a crazy mess. I have never seen such amateurism in a company before. Worst decision to spend $700 on American Muscle, learned my lesson, NEVER AGAIN. They have great videos on youtube and good website layout that lures you into thinking it will be a good company, but it just a great headache and a money grabber. I hope you read this review to not make the same mistake I did.

I purchased brake rotors for my mustang on Sunday not realizing I ordered the wrong ones. So, the next day I call and they assure me that my order will be canceled and I should see an email within 24-48 hours in regards to the cancellation.
Well, 2 weeks later and these $#*! are still trying to tell me that the vendor still hasn't processed the cancellation. Even though I've called multiple times and your representatives assured me that I should be receiving that email by the end of the day.
2 weeks passed by and I still don't have a refund, still never received a cancellation email, oh and guess what! I ordered the parts I actually wanted on amazon and they got here within 3 days and my car is all done! Y'all suck straight up ima make sure I never do business with y'all and ima Make sure to spread the word and inform people to stay away
I purchased MGP caliper covers for my 2020 Mustang Ecoboost Premium. Despite the site confirming that they'd fit my car, they didn't. I returned them and decided to give AM a second chance. I spoke with a salesman who told me that the reason they didn't fit was because since my car was a Premium, I needed to order the Performance brake covers. This sounded suspect to me but the salesman assured me condescendingly that he knew what he was talking about. I took his word for it and once we hung up, I did some research. I went onto MGP's website and saw photos of standard versus performance calipers. Mine were definitely standard and not performance. So I called up again and this time ordered another set of standard covers. I was on the phone for 40 minutes because the new salesman has no idea what he was doing. Finally, he placed the order for me (I had to pay another $250). I checked my email a few hours later and saw that he ordered me the GT covers instead of the Ecoboost. Wow. So I called again and tried getting that order canceled and having the standard ones sent to me. I was told that they couldn't cancel the order and that I'd have to spend another $250 (a third time for those keeping track) to get the standard ones sent to me. I am going to return the original and GT orders and hopefully I get refunded. Because they wanted to essentially make me pay $750 for one set of calipers and jump through hoops to get back the $500, I refused to buy from them and will not buy from this company ever again. I found the exact same covers on Amazon for $20 cheaper.
THIS COMPANY LITERALLY STEALS YOUR MONEY. I ordered front and rear power stop evolution 3 rotors and pads and it has been three weeks and I still haven't received any package, any update, or email from the company as to where my package is. The front grille and headlight package that I ordered has yet to have been shipped out because despite the fact that when I ordered the package it said it was in stock, for the past three weeks I have been receiving emails saying "oops!" and that yet again the package is out of stock and I have to wait until it is back in stock to be shipped out and then when the date that I was told the item will be back in stock comes around, I get another email saying "oops" yet amidst all this they have already pocketed the 450$ I have already paid and there has been not a hint of an apology for this absolute mess, a hint of giving a refund, or without me prying at them and constantly bugging them any hope that I will ever receive my package and from the previous reviews written, it seems like I'll be doing the same exact thing if not worse to try and get my money back. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!
I have bought 1000's of dollars of mods from AM. The shipping is always fast and on time. The product is almost always right on the money. And in a couple instances I had a problem, the costumer service was on it fast and made the problem right with either exchange, store credit, or refund of money no questions asked. Don't know what site the people are using, but the American Muscle I go through is always top quality in all aspects.
I purchased a trunk mat for my 2019 Mustang GT with shaker subwoofer for Father's day. Received the wrong one, without a subwoofer. I returned and received another one. Again, it was the wrong one without a subwoofer. Was not happy. The operator was very apologetic and I told him not his fault. Did not yell, just told him I again was not very happy and have to take time out to go to UPS store again. I asked about a discount. Operator told me his manager offered a 4% discount for the next order. I told him forget the insult and to refund my money. The box clearly states "no shaker". Dealt with AM for past 5 years. They are going down hill.
I ordered my front bumper bra a few weeks ago and I tried checking status online and of course apparently its still processing, I actually talked to a rep and he had no problem taking my money not telling me it would be forever before I got my product, I've ordered several things in the past month with no problem, the only response I get its due to the Corona virus, if it doesn't get any better I'll never order again.

I purchased an exhaust system from them. They neglected to advise on oxygen sensor extensions so a week delay waiting on those parts. The system did not fit correct and when I took it to my local garage they noticed on th elift that the brackets installed by PYPES were not in the correct location. They wrote a work order which I shared with Amercian Muscle to identify how they would help. All advised by thier representative. I then went to Midas who concurred with my local garage. I had supplied documentation and now decided to fix my exhaust by having the brackets cut off and positioned corrrectly and welded on by Midas at a cost of $283 plus in s few weeks the original install caused the $62 brackets to break. American Muscle took a week to tell me I shoudl have waited for them to get back with me. Since I provided work orders and pictures I felt they would want to help with an adjustment. They said that I am on my own since they did not pre-approve the work that needed to be done with the recomendation of two differnt shops. This is not the way I expect to be treated by a parts company and I woudl recomend to everyone reading to go to a differnt supplier for thier mustang or any car parts.

For about a year and a half I have used American Muscle for many parts for my Mustang Ecoboost and when I came across an issue with a product they sold me, I have never had worse customer service in my life. Not only do they have THE worst call back record but they do not help or care about helping you for a mistake with their company. After 3 weeks of fighting with them, they finally sent me the part I needed and when it arrived it was the wrong part and only a mistake a complete amateur could make. This is the most unprofessional, rude, and uncharismatic business I have ever had to encounter with and I will never use American Muscle again. And to anyone who I discuss with it about, I will tell them to never use this company.
I had two successful orders with them, but on the third order I was grossly overcharged, initially I was told this was just a temporary authorization on my card, and that it would drop once the items shipped. Then once it shipped, the charge cleared for the same overcharged amount. I called back a few days later and was told I have to wait up to 10 business days for a refund, but they were unable to send me a confirmation that a refund was in process. Unfortunately this was on a debit card so now I have to hash it out with the bank because of overdraft fees. Im super bummed, because I love their selection and website.
I did one of their promos where if you spent 200.00 or more you would get a 50.00 coupon on your next purchase of 300.00 which I planned on using, instead I got an email stating Use below code at checkout starting on 5/3/20:
And while at the bottom saying, "No Coupons left" which meant I got absolutely nothing for it or no options on my purchase which is fraud and false advertising. Id think twice before you fall for that.
Quick update, after I filed a complaint with BBB and the FTC I did get my 50.00 back, so it pays off to take action, be safe.

Pathetic customer service and so slow on shipping out orders, I ordered exhaust that was guaranteed delivery by a certain date and AM drug their feet getting it out for shipment so now its made my delivery date push back by more than a couple days! Pathetic on AM part!
Ordered powerstop brake and rotor kit. Never got any tracking info. Kept calling them only for them to tell me it'll be there soon. A week and a half later I never got it. Now I'm fighting with them to get refunded. Horrible horrible. If I can give them negative stars I would
I swore these clowns off for a couple years for a multitude of reasons but they had some BMR rails I wanted that LMR didn't have. They were out of stock so I signed up for an email to be notified when they were back in stock. Got the email a couple weeks later and immediately purchased. 6 days go by and nothing. No updates, order says processing. Chat an online rep and I'm specifically told they shipped 1/13 from an "alternate warehouse" (AKA drop shipped because they don't actually stock most parts). Next day I get an email stating the pets aren't in stock. So as far as I'm concerned they lied to me by emailing me and saying the parts are eligible to be ordered. Then they lied again by saying they shipped 1/13. So I reply to cancel my order and refund. Days go by and no response. Chat online again and get the same rep, who insists they would never lie, and then proceeds to tell me that he stated 1/13 was the expected ship date when we talked on 1/15. I saved the chat contents and surprise surprise, lie number three because they specifically told me they had shipped. So I again requested a refund and two days later still nothing. Avoid these clowns at all costs.
This is my go to website to either window shopp or actually buy cool products that make my 05 mustang look better than it is. I wanted to return something because the sticker that I ordered had a wrinkle in it but I waited a few weeks (because I procrastinated) and I ended up actually getting in a car crash. So I wanted to return everything that I got so i can get my money back. The person that I called (Chris) was very kind and he let me do the return. Not to mention they answered very quickly! Like after one ring someone picked up. The conversation was very quick as well, he looked up my phone number and saw the purchase and immediately filed the return.
