They will take your money and not ship your order. This is a distributor and they do not take responsibility for the manufacture shipping the order. This is a total scam and I highly recommend you use another distributor that is more reliable.
Customer service is the worst - I could write a book just about this topic - TRUST me I warn you to stay away. Their customer service center cannot and will not do anything for you expect offer excuses and frustrate you more!
Ordered an 04 car crawl... Didn't tell us that they would have to order it 6 weeks later I call... For a refund they say okay. Told us some story about they didn't take any money because it was a standby order. But yet send an email saying that the money would be returned... I'm confused I can't tell if I got ripped off twice by not getting apart or not getting my money back too so now I have to call to the bank about some order that was two months ago. End of the day just go C. J... auto. Parts got my part in two days...
Every time I'm ready to buy, they never have items in stock... never! Inventory head can't forecast accurately.
I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with my purchase that I WAS NOT offered a tire warranty outside of the regular mfg warranty I called in and was told NO I will NOT do business with American Muscle again! SAD
I ordered a complete kit of Z26 street warrior front and rear for my 2017 gt with performance pack. I noticed right away they were sending me the wrong parts and called it to there attention. What I received wast 2 wrong front rotors and 3 sets of front brake pads. Nothing for the rear of the car. I sent everything back and still had to wait for my money back. Now I'm in to this for over 20 days without my money being fully returned. I'm outraged and will never use them again and I have informed all my friends who I talked into using them, not to use them. I asked to speak to a supervisor every time I called and never got to talk to one. I've logged over 10 hours on the phone trying to get my money back.
For over a month I have been dealing with this order. 4 times they have sent the incorrect item. And four times I have had to return it via ups. On the 4th time they refuse to Have ups come pick it up. Will never by from this company again.
American Muscle is by far the worse buying experience for car parts. This time last year I ordered a cold air intake. Said in stock at time of order, weeks go by and still said processing then they tell me it was out of stock and that I should cancel my order and re-order a different one. On a deadline I had to make, I did.
I didn't use them for a year till recently I decided to give them another chance.
I ordered some taillights over two weeks ago that said in stock, and guess what... here we are two weeks later and STILL SAYS PROCESSING.
Try to call and talk to a manager or supervisor and apparently they do not have any so that's probably the reason why their company is down the drain.
I'd rather pay 5x more for decent customer service and a company you can actually rely on.

I ordered a spec clutch for my car paid the 2 day shipping cost. 2 days later bbk headers showed up to my house for a 2011 to 2014 mustang 5.0 I own a 2017 5.0. I called customer service to report the issue the gentleman was very apologetic. And said he would transfer me to sales to see if they can ship me a equal or better clutch since the one I researched and ordered is now on back order with no eta. The young lady I spoke with looked up other clutches none of them was what I needed and the ones close enough required me to purchase a new flywheel. I asked for a complete refund I was told I would have to ship the headers I didn't order back and it would take up to 10 days for my refund. I have spent thousands with this company between all the mustangs I have owned through out the years. They don't appreciate loyalty so I'm forced to write this review and end my relationship with American muscle.
I order a hood decal that was out off stock for months. I did finally receive it. However as soon as a received it. A hood vent also can to be available. So I called to return the vinyl hood decal and purchase the more expensive hood vent since they confirmed its now available. But a week later a called to get a status on my hood-vent order just to be informed that is out of stock. And I was informed that my return was received and I would only get partial refund since it's their policy. So l am without decal nor hood vent and lost money in all this Crazy
I originally bought a optima battery from this company and it was defective. They asked asked me to package it very well and send it back, so I did just that. It costed an additional $10 and my time. They then send me a package that Literally looked and sounded like it had been ran over by a truck many times. So I took photos of it prior to opening it and soon as I open it I see they didn't take the time to properly package the battery how they asked me to do with the defective one. The battery was badly damaged and broken. I contacted them immediately through email and phone and still haven't gotten confirmation that it will be replaced. The customer service was awful, the girl didn't know what she was doing, took forever and still no resolve. This has costed more money out of my pocket and hours of my time. Do Not Order from this company! Worst experience ever.
They placed a item on sale i ordered said item then it was canceled item was sent out to other customers at the advertised price. Contacted and ask why mine was cancelled and got a ugly response and told NO
I've spent literally thousands of dollars on products from American Muscle over the years. Unless it's a major name brand, all their in-house stuff is nothing but cheap junk that's made in China and then resold here in America at outrageous prices. Not to mention their customer service is a joke. The prices in their "install" videos don't match what's on the website (more expensive) and they are not willing to offer discounts for false advertising. Oh and by the way NOBODY CARES about how "cool" you make your mustang look.

It's all scams and lies. They charge you overnight shipping and takes 5 days. Bunch of low lifes that scam people. Stay away from here.
Ordered Atturo az850s tires and they sent Atturo az800s I called them to get a refund and they even said the az850s were on back order for 2-3 weeks. So why send me the wrong tire? Why not just refund my order to start with?
Twice I ordered floor mats for a 2004 Mustang convertible. Both times they cancelled my order. I did not ask for my order to be canceled. Both times I simply inquired as to tracking information. I was not upset with waiting for the mats... I do understand shipping has been a challenge during this time. I simply emailed them to ask for tracking information and the very next day (both times) I received an email saying that they cancelled my order.
This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with... They clearly don't read their emails. As a matter of fact it seems that some non-human computer is just spitting out random replies to emails...

You are at risk of becoming a victim of the disorganization that runs ramped through this company. Only you as a customer will experience this, as this is their normalcy. It will put you into a mode of irrefutable frustration. Parts shipped that are damaged. They blame it on UPS or FedEx etc. The problem is, is that it repeats itself over and over. The corrugation used to ship the parts in is inadequate. There are shipping and packaging guidelines in place that are engineered to vastly reduce and or eliminate damage to the objects within the packaging based on their size, weight and features. The owners of this company obviously do not have the budget to source either a packaging tech, engineer, or at the very least a consultant to get on board and screw their heads back on straight. The lines of communication are very week in many areas. This is apparent by the manner in which some of the sales associates conduct themselves. Based on my experience this company has settled into a level of comfort that instills the mantra, we have money to throw away, because that is what's happening. I do not have one bad thing to say about the parts, because it all starts with getting the parts to the customer without them being damaged. This was a lesson learned about being patient and being a good customer yet, due to the nature of what transpired I have become a patient and am checking into the nearest mental institution as it is impossible that a company is able to become so complacent as to allow the same issue to repeat itself over and over that I cannot seem to wrap my head around it. Or perhaps it is just my stupidity that I allowed myself to go through the fourth, fifth and sixth replacement until I said enough. I reached out to their supervisor team several times requesting to speak with a member of upper management. I never was provided the opportunity, and think the supervisory staff was covering. What is even funnier is this was my first time ordering from them. They say the first time is the best lol.
The parts never get on time, is. Like pretty much they dont care about the costumers im so mad about it
Received parts (Again) It was the wrong part (Again). I called them and they sent me a return label. I dropped it off (Again). I was told it would be 10 business before I would receive. Still nothing. I called them (Again). The guy kept telling he was sorry but nobody put return ticket in and it would be another 10 business days before I get my refund. I've been doing business with them for years but they have really fallen off. They keep blaming the covid-19 for their bad service and delays
Had to sell my project to pay bills. Could not return part cause it was after 30 days, even offered to pay a restock fee. Answer was still NO... Cj pony and lmr both took back parts they understood money is tight at this time and where very helpful. I will never buy anything at am. muscle again!
