From beginning to end has been a nightmare. Creating a account with them was impossible after 3 days and several calls ro customers service they finally figured out the issues. Then I ordered a intake waiting 3 months for it and when the finally had some on stock they sent me a used on that was missing hardware from a open box. They tried to pawn it off ad new. I can't believe my level of frustration with these guys and after this is resolved I will never be buying from them again. Even if they're the only ones who carry the part naaa I'll get a different part. Never again.
This company will make returns, exchanges and getting your money hell. They make you not even want to build a car. I'm so disgusted by the constant lies I was given about when my refund would arrive and all I wanted was to buy more items from the sight. They sent me an open boxed item that was missing half the equipment and then try to make me keep it. After complaining enough they agreed to give me my money not to mention I paid for one day shipping and it came 5 days later. Two weeks later I've still not received 1 dime from them back.
I requested verification of "pre painted" exterior dress up parts for a 2021 Mustang. I was assured the products were in stock only in "Race Red". I then purchased a Race Red Mustang for a promotional program with my business and ordered the parts letting American Muscle know I needed "immediate shipment". I was promised the parts would ship immediately. 3 days later on the day they were to arrive I found out that only half the parts were shipped and they were shipped 2 days late! Upon calling to investigate, I was told they sold the "held parts" that were also still in the system at the time of my phone call and decided to sit on my order rather than alert me of the problem. I then reordered parts of a different color (no discount offered) so I could have them repainted in time for me to meet my obligations. The cavalier attitude, lack of concern, poor service, poor inventory control... doesn't even rate them at one star. I will never use them again and I recommend others not to support such a poor business.
Items will say in stock on website, once you pay for the pay term they send you an email saying it's out of stock and will take a month to ship!
Shysters, To be told you will have a part by a certain day that you paid for and find out that the part got sent out on ground from California and is a week late so s unacceptable, and to have EVERY SINGLE person I spoke to said it was FEDEX fault was a liar from. Hakeem all the way down the line. I will NEVER buy another part from this company again. The ptsd they have triggered from lying to falsifying EVERY WORD I hope that they are apart of the BBB. Now $#*! yourselves "American muscle"
I ordered spring insulators and the box only had half of them. I immediately contacted them, sending pictures of box missing parts and a month later and 6 conversations with different reps still nothing. 2 times they said FedEx will pick up, its still in my mailbox and they haven't shipped what I need. Promises and guarantees never fulfilled, will never do business or refer anyone to them again.
I bought an Eibach shock/strut kit from them for $550. The Eibach warranty requires professional installation for it to be valid. A month after I had them installed the front passenger strut broke - I didn't so much as hit a big pothole in the time I had them on.
Not only does American Muscle tell me to pound sand and call Eibach, I have to pay for all of the related costs.
I have to now pay for removal of the bad strut, pay to ship the defective item back, wait for the replacement and pay to have it put on again!
They are useless as a customer advocate and refuse to do anything to massage these situations for their customers.
The real kicker is that in Eibach's written warranty they require the distributor to contact them for a RGA, which they also will not do.
Stay away and use LMR or Summit.
Sent us the wrong parts but insisted they were the right parts. I sent them a copy of the order I placed which they sent to me when I placed the order. The order proved I was right. They had no excuse for the mess up. Was never delivered anywhere near the time they said it would take to deliver. Their shipper, FedEx was rude and did not apologize for the wrong parts being delivered... late. Taylor, the name of the person who we discussed this with over the phone hung up on me.
Took credit card payment on April 28th 2021. Two weeks later i called only to be informed the order will not ship until May 19th, 2021. It is now May 25th and I am told it has not shipped yet but it will ship tomorrow which is the same thing I was told yesterday. Absolutely 0 customer service on the phone.
Placed an order and needed it second day air. Paid extra for the shipping and then the item still "ships" FedEx home delivery which always takes a week or more. No refund for shipping and customer service just tells me to return the product when I receive it. Never using American Muscle again.
I tried submitting a review of my bad experience which I had rated a 1 star. It never came across, even though it says submitted a review, I even tried resubmitting it even and it says I have already reviewed that product. I even went on the laptop not logged in to see if my review came across. Nope. A lot of things on there have really good reviews, which is obviously very misleading based off these reviews on sitejabber and the fact that THEY DON'T PUBLICLY SHOW BAD REVIEWS JUST TO KEEP THEIR REPUTATION.
I will never use AM again for any part. Bought a set of tires and rims for a five lug conversion on a 89 fox body. AM offered free mount, balance, and shipping... Good... except failed to mention that if the tires are mounted they will NOT accept a return. The wheels did not allow the center hub to seat properly keeping the wheel 1/4 inch off from the disk flange... the response from "customer service" was well you should have called to check proper fit. However the on line process for sales did not mention the return policy nor the fit issue. Promise that I will never spend anouther nickel with this company. I also promise to tell everyone about this poor, awful, non helpful, BS excuse of a company.
I ordered four wheels from this company and one of them came with a huge dent in it. Unfortunately I didn't see the dent until I had taken the wheels to the dealership to have them put on my car and they already had taken all of my tires off. So they had to put all my original tires back on and then I shipped back the damaged wheel. A couple of days later I got sent out a "new" wheel except it was in the same box that was used for the damaged wheel and the box was in even worse condition. This time, I didn't see any dents on the wheel so again, I took the wheel to the dealership to have them put the new wheels on my car and when putting the "new" wheel that was sent out to me the second time, they saw that the wheel was damaged because the wheel was wobbling all over the place when they put it on the tire and checked it on their machine. Honestly, I'm pretty sure they tried fixing the original damaged wheel that I sent back and hoped I wouldn't notice that it was the same one. I am very disappointed in this company for not only wasting my time, but also the guys at the dealership.
I ordered a set of brake pads and rotors. The rotors came in two different boxes and brake pads in their own box. So 3 boxes total. The rotors I got within 2-3 days and the brake pads didn't make it in the 2-5 business days as stated when I ordered. As we all know you have to have a complete set to install and run and this only inconvenienced me where I had to go buy other brake pads separately just to get my car running. Instead of offering to send me the pads next day delivery they said they had to do an RMA which takes another 3 days and then send me a new set which would've taken another week just to get to me. After this I'm just gonna stick to local shops
I needed a clutch and went to american muscle. They had the clutch i wanted and they claimed it would ship in 2-4 days. I purchased it and almost a month later and no clutch. I did contct them about 2 weeks after i ordered and they said it would ship the next day... didnt happen. A month later i was told it would ship in 2 weeks. I canceled my order. All i got in return for my experience was sorry, not even a sticker or a 5 dollar coupon... nothing. I even told the guy i needed a clutch that is actually instock, he just advised ht it would ship later. I requested to cancel and was told i would receive my refund 6 days later which is unacceptable.
I ordered Brake pads and rotors. The brake pads were such bad quality, they broke the retraction springs right outta the box. For something as important as brake systems, they have really bad quality. They refused to compensate me for the labor charges I had to pay which costed more than the kit. They asked me to ship the thing back, but I lost the little spring and now I have to buy a whole new set.

I spend alot of money at American muscle.com. I buy everything for my mustang there. I ordered an expensive hood from them February10. Got lost in the mail. Second one I order I received April 23. Second one was damaged. Not by the freight carrier. It was a $#*!ty mold. Be careful buying hoods from them.
Their customer service is horrible. They do not ship on-time and their customer service constantly states crap and excuses. Their shipping department must be made up of brain-dead monkey's because they don't know crap. They have botched up a big purchase of mine (wheel/tire package) to the point I don't know why I ever tried to get it resolved and should of asked for a complete refund instead. They're still trying (strong word) to get it right. Never will I order from them again. EVER! Hope the douche-bag CEO see these reviews. They all stink and so does his crap company.
I waited 2 weeks for my order. Ordered a Brembo Boss set of 4 full brake sets.
But that is NOT what I received. Received a set of 2 Power Stop brake, pads, calipers.
And some little 1 piece caliper and odd brake parts. No cars are 3 wheeled cars!

The products they sell failed me within a few months and I was not able to return them. The life expectancy on the items like automotive lights should be at least a few years. Bad and will not use again.
