I had two successful orders with them, but on the third order I was grossly overcharged, initially I was told this was just a temporary authorization on my card, and that it would drop once the items shipped. Then once it shipped, the charge cleared for the same overcharged amount. I called back a few days later and was told I have to wait up to 10 business days for a refund, but they were unable to send me a confirmation that a refund was in process. Unfortunately this was on a debit card so now I have to hash it out with the bank because of overdraft fees. Im super bummed, because I love their selection and website.
I did one of their promos where if you spent 200.00 or more you would get a 50.00 coupon on your next purchase of 300.00 which I planned on using, instead I got an email stating Use below code at checkout starting on 5/3/20:
And while at the bottom saying, "No Coupons left" which meant I got absolutely nothing for it or no options on my purchase which is fraud and false advertising. Id think twice before you fall for that.
Quick update, after I filed a complaint with BBB and the FTC I did get my 50.00 back, so it pays off to take action, be safe.

They don't answer emails and promise a refund but iam still chasing them after a month

Pathetic customer service and so slow on shipping out orders, I ordered exhaust that was guaranteed delivery by a certain date and AM drug their feet getting it out for shipment so now its made my delivery date push back by more than a couple days! Pathetic on AM part!
Ordered powerstop brake and rotor kit. Never got any tracking info. Kept calling them only for them to tell me it'll be there soon. A week and a half later I never got it. Now I'm fighting with them to get refunded. Horrible horrible. If I can give them negative stars I would
I swore these clowns off for a couple years for a multitude of reasons but they had some BMR rails I wanted that LMR didn't have. They were out of stock so I signed up for an email to be notified when they were back in stock. Got the email a couple weeks later and immediately purchased. 6 days go by and nothing. No updates, order says processing. Chat an online rep and I'm specifically told they shipped 1/13 from an "alternate warehouse" (AKA drop shipped because they don't actually stock most parts). Next day I get an email stating the pets aren't in stock. So as far as I'm concerned they lied to me by emailing me and saying the parts are eligible to be ordered. Then they lied again by saying they shipped 1/13. So I reply to cancel my order and refund. Days go by and no response. Chat online again and get the same rep, who insists they would never lie, and then proceeds to tell me that he stated 1/13 was the expected ship date when we talked on 1/15. I saved the chat contents and surprise surprise, lie number three because they specifically told me they had shipped. So I again requested a refund and two days later still nothing. Avoid these clowns at all costs.
This is my go to website to either window shopp or actually buy cool products that make my 05 mustang look better than it is. I wanted to return something because the sticker that I ordered had a wrinkle in it but I waited a few weeks (because I procrastinated) and I ended up actually getting in a car crash. So I wanted to return everything that I got so i can get my money back. The person that I called (Chris) was very kind and he let me do the return. Not to mention they answered very quickly! Like after one ring someone picked up. The conversation was very quick as well, he looked up my phone number and saw the purchase and immediately filed the return.
Item I ordered said it was in stock and ship within 3-5 business days, I call 2 weeks later to see why it still has not shipped and they say it is on backorder and going to be another 2-3 weeks and their website still says that it is in stock and available to ship even though they know it is on back order.
Caution caution! My order was to be delivered yesterday for my wife's birthday and checking tracking info today it hasn't even shipped yet, so I called customer service no help there either they act like they don't know where it is and didn't seem to care. I don't know if this is a scam or just super poor customer service but I would not trust them ever again
Was on the phone to ask more about a certain product and as I was on hold for 15 minutes the representative returned to tell me the item was sold. He offered a $20 discount on a $350 item that was readily available to everyone on the website.: NEVER buy from this place
So I have order multiple times from American mucsle thinking that the first order they messed up was just a one time thing. Well I have been proven wrong about three times now. First time is when I ordered wheels and tires took them a month to ship they kept telling me my order had been shipped and I would get it on this day, well that day came and went no order. Took them over a month to finally get them too me. Ordered a another part from them they changed my correct zip code to another zip code in a completely different state. Everything on the address was correct but they changed only that and I have no clue as of why. Every order I place from them is always messed up and takes weeks to receive your order do yourself a favor and order from another business and get your parts on time
Basically I ordered wheels/tires for my GT500, they put them in cardboard boxes with no them protecting the face of the wheel. What do you think is going to happen? Hmm. Needless to say, they came in, boxes torn up, wheels scratched badly and some scratches from where they mounted them. Now they've been nothing but a headache dealing with and trying to get my money back.
Purchased a tuner and a tune. When I got the tuner in the mail and put the new tun on my 2017 Mustang all of the lights went out on the dash. When I called back the guy that answered the phone in the tuning area said he was busy and call back. Called back several time finally got a guy that said something was wrong. Said no kidding and I get a different answers from each person I talk to. Then finally got a new tune but I have not put it on after returning the car to stock. These people have know idea what they are doing. This cost me $500.00 plus, and they could care less in as much as they already got my money. Don't let then touch your car and don't let then put a tune on it. Find someone that knows what they are doing because the morons don't, and don't care
I was so excited to fix up my Mustange! Purchased rims and tires and there is a blemish on one of them I called American Muscle in hopes there would be a resolution! They told me that they would not be able to replace it but I could take it to a chrome shop to get an estimate and they MIGHT be able to help, no guarantees! I also ordered louvers and waited for over a month, when I called they told me that they had been discontinued. Customer service is good only when you make a purchase!
As a long time client who has ordered thousands of dollars I will no longer be purchasing from them.
Unfortunately my husband's mustang was hit and we decided to upgrade the bumper during repairs.
I spoke to two separate reps at the collision office who informed me I would be getting the bumper via freight by Monday. Parts were ordered Thursday.
Now on Monday I am informed that it wi be a week. Not only is car dismantled I shop and work has ceased but we will incur further car rental fees of another 7 days.
Supervisor would only say I didnt clicknon tracking number. Which I had already and it merely said ordered being prepared. He offered me a mere 50 dollars on a mistake that will cost us an extra 400 due to their mistake. All while trying to say it was our fault. Even after I told him I had witnessed to at collision center and my husband/ I when teps where on speaker phone. It was a crucial timeframes otherwise we would have waited a week to place it in shop.
They do not take responsibility for their mistakes.
My recommendation is to go with another part company.

I placed an order with these bozos and twice they sent me out the wrong item. And now that I have complained and told them how useless they are, they have red flagged my account. I was told that they no longer wish to do business with me. These people only care about themselves, not the customers. And Dan Harmon, who is a upper management supervisor, well, he will just lie right straight to your face. I would avoid doing any business with this company.
Told them several times I needed paper receipts on purchases because I don't the ability to make copy's over the internet, they told me they would me mail them to me, which was purchases over a thousand dollars, never got them so I called them and they tell me they don 't have that service.
I told them I would have to find different Mustang aftermarket supplier and they let me know they didn't care.
Ordered brake caliper covers for my challenger. It turned out they don't fit. Contacted American muscle, they said I need double piston ones, which were out of stock. Was told to order another set, another 200 bucks, and wait for them to come in when they became available. Waited six moths, for the correct ones to come in. Had them put on, now trying to return them i'm Being told that the order is expired, like it's a loaf of bread! Mind you I had to wait six months because THEY didn't have the correct set in stock. Cheats and thieves!
Asked for an exchange on a faulty product (not a return)... no help from American Muscle even after jumping through their hoops. Be warned. Look elsewhere for parts and customer service.
Long story short, I received a fix it ticket because i didn't have the correct carb sticker on my cold air intake. Call AmericanMuscle and explain to them what I need and they find one that fits my year/model. I install it, drive 45 minutes to get it tested by the state referee only to have it fail for the wrong carb sticker. I call them back, wait 4 hours for supervisor Chris to listen to my 8 minute phone conversation of me buying the intake to make sure it was their own fault and not mine, only to be told by John they dont have the intake I need, so they'll just reimburse me. I have a month left before I have to start paying fines for late fees for my fix it ticket. Ford is quoting me 900 for an intake and I dont really want to pay that so I call American Muscle back seeing if they can get me the correct part number so I can try to find it elsewhere. They end up having plenty of the correct intakes in stock, turns out John or Chris didn't give a $#*! to actually look for my intake i needed and lied about it. So I pay the difference for the more expensive intake and ask for it to be expedited faster because of how little time I have left, they still can't even $#*!ing do that! So now I have to wait another week for it to be shipped. I've bought a lot from this company but I dont see this company surviving long if this is the way they treat their customers.
