Customer service is great to work with... they resolve your problems immediately. Selling on the site has become far too hard and one negative review can boot you out of being able to sell anything at all. I recommend eBay for selling and just use amazon for buying great stuff!

I can't tell you enough great things about Amazon, especially in the Books/Education Category. They are beyond wonderful! You have the option of buying books new or used, and they are priced accordingly. They seem to have contacts with quite a few businesses and people with books they are selling, available through Amazon. I would caution you, however, that just because someone is charging only $3.99 for an item, does not mean that is how much you will end up paying. You will pay the listed amount PLUS how much they charge for THEIR Shipping and Handling Fee. Sometimes if you mailed a small book, it might cost you under $5.00 if you mailed it from the Post Office. For the exact same item, they often charge whatever they feel like charging, which means they could set their Shipping and Handling Charges as $39.95 for the same item. Add their "Fees" to what they stated was the price. Instead of the item costing only $3.99 plus tax, you might have to pay over $45.00. Sometimes if the Amazon book price is listed as $20.00, often with FREE Shipping, you can save a lot of money just to buy books "New" from Amazon. Amazon is one of my favorite online buying resources.
If you want to find something that is not often in a brick and mortar store this is the place. The website is easy to use and much of the product is priced lower than what you can find it in most stores. I use it all the time for everything from vitamins to plasma televisions.

I love using Amazon for my shopping. Using my Amazon Prime membership, I get free shipping, so I would much rather shop here than anywhere else online. I have had problems with some of their merchandisers and Amazon has stood behind me 100% and followed through to assure I was happy with the outcome. Great online retailer.

Every time I shop with Amazon they seem to get better and they have also been amazingly responsive on queries even when they are a bit complicated (misleading product description rapidly resolve, Amazon affiliates application wrongly rejected, etc.) Great service, a key site for me.
I purchase heaps of little things from Amazon, and have purchased over many years. Their customer product review system which allows buyers to write reviews and update them as time goes by is the main reason I use Amazon. I can research the quality and experiences of other buyers in a way that cannot be done on any other site I know of. I have made one customer service request and was blown away by the immediate response and rectification. They ship quickly as do their related suppliers. I pay for Prime membership and the freebies that come with that membership are well worth the subscription. Amazon is the greatest!
